One thing about cishet people that I find unrelatable is that their gaydar for lesbians only works with mascs. Femme lesbians are so easy to spot if you’re sapphic. Femmes often resemble drag queens more than they do cishet women. Femme lesbians wear more dramatic makeup. They not only wear bigger jewelry, but they stack that shit. They carry themselves with a “don’t fuck with me” confidence. They’re often meaner, especially to men. Femmes lesbians are so different to cishet women, but when you’re a cishet person with no exposure to queer culture, the only way you understand queer gender expression is through masc women and fem men.
