she is old money, descendant from kings and queens. her mother is simply a daughter of an empire and her father is the heir of a company so renowned that yejin is born into money – the kind that’s stained with blood, sweat, and tears; the kind that she won’t ever have to worry about. she is a spoiled girl, raised with a platinum spoon in her mouth, gold in her hands and silver crowned onto her head.

at ten, she picks up tennis. very quickly, she becomes one of the best junior players in the world and it becomes her whole life. she travels all around the world to follow an expensive coach, competes at the highest degree and suddenly, at thirteen, she’s taking pictures with the press while answering questions about a future she’s never really been sure of. it fuels her teen years, overtaking them completely instead of her living her life. she learns what her parents and tutors teach her ( keep an aspirin between your knees, your tennis skirts are too short but they’re alright for the sport, follow your religion, follow your family ) and not much else.
