My Jeep hat… to keep my hair from getting ripped up while having the windows down and Jeep top off! SUMMERTIME HAIR CARE: Little things to keep in mind this summer to help maintain your hair’s integrity…. 1. WEAR A HAT WHEN OUTSIDE it helps keep your color from fading and becoming brittle from the sun & wind. 2. PUT IT UP- in a scarf, bun, braid, or whatever you like when you’re driving with the windows down. Your hair whipping in the wind (as great as it is) only causes more damage to the ends very quickly. A Great analogy is how a flag looks after being subjected to the elements… over time it looks faded , tattered, thin & weak. Guess what?? It has the same effect on your hair! 3. Prevent Chlorine buildup….Don’t let chlorine dry in your hair When you get out of the pool to lay out for awhile or whatever- don’t let the sun bake it in; give it a good rinse in between dips! ALWAYS SHAMPOO when your done swimming ASAP with a detox shampoo. 4. INCREASE CONDITIONING TREATMENTS that add Moisture!!
