Warmer Waters
I find myself back here
floating along this sea of misery
A familiar bank of fog encompassing my ship
But this time, it’s not pressing - depressing nor harsh or cold
Its warmth caresses my cheek as the rocking waves lull me into sleep
I might not know where I am or where I am going But the waters are warmer here and even with this uncertainty The thick veil surrounding me I feel at peace with the sea as I dream of sailing these warmer waters with you
