Twenty One Pilots Big Bang (Writing Challenge)
A long time ago in a galaxy far far away…. people in fandoms decided they didn’t want just one new fanfic. They wanted a whole plethora of new fanfics! An explosion of fanfics.
And thus, Big Bang writing challenges were born.
People work on their stories in secret for a few months before everyone posts them on the same day and an explosion of amazing new fiction appears.
It’s pretty simple. If you want to participate all you have to do is sign-up!
1. Work on your fic until the Deadline
2. Email a finished draft to the organizer so I can get a participant count and credit you in a masterlist (that’s me @peachypunk22), and then
3. Post your fic to AO3 on the Posting date.
When you post your fic, you can include the tag TOPBigBang2019 so everyone else who participated can see all the hard work you’ve done!
Are there any restrictions?
It must be twenty one pilots centric.
You can have other bands/characters/fandoms included, but because this is a TOP Big Bang, twenty one pilots should be the focus
2. Minimum word count: 8,500
I know for some people that’s a lot, however, you do have approx. 5 months to work on it and this is a writing challenge. So write that mega slow-burn au you’ve been wanting to write for months now!
Why should I participate?
It’s called a challenge for a reason! Having a secret project with a deadline that you can dedicate time to is a really fun way to push your writing forward.Plus, I’ll be putting together a discord so everyone can cheer each other on and make friends as the weeks go by!
AND I find that Big Bangs are a good way for your stories to reach more people. It’s fun to read what everyone makes and it helps form a little community of writers.

What if I sign-up and later decide I don’t want to participate?
That’s fine! We write for fun so there’s no pressure to finish if life happens or you lose interest. Anyone who doesn’t email a final draft at the deadline will be presumed to not be participating.
