#i do think people are downplaying these two #mostly because yakumo is kind of a dickhead and dickheads usually end up on the 'will die' vote spectrum regardless #(he gets a bit more fleshed out in vengeance but in the og he is a very opaque character. and also a dickhead)#but nuwa is an incredibly powerful demon and shouhei is an incredibly talented summoner #they're both very sharp. very competent. and yakumo is a spiritualist. they'd be able to figure out kira's situation very easily #NOBODY wanted smoke with them until the nahobino came around #in fact #they'd probably be locked in on his situation if we treat shinigami like megaten demons #kira using shinigami (or 'demonic powers') to influence the world by killing others is quite literally what they want to stop #like they both absolutely have the tools motives and abilities to handle kira

Also Goku is an alien. So, at minimum completely precluded from the Death Notes effects

The blog usually goes around that rule, or at least expands it to 'if they're on the poll then assume the Death Note will work on them' rather than just 'it only works on humans' so that there can be actual discussion on characters from other works instead of 'it doesn't work on this character so there's no challenge/they're on easy mode'.

#teen bulma and kid goku would def need to work together but i think they could do it #bulma isn't anonymous but i dont think she'd be on light's radar for a bit #and she's plenty clever (though she might get distracted considering all the Pretty Anime Boys in the cast)#kid goku is more like a guided missile that can handle the physical stuff #plus as kids they at least have one ressurection under their belt with the dragon balls #also this is their Gag Manga era so the Rule of Funny is also on their side #it also sort of comes down to 'how quickly do they realize they need to hide their names'#bulma might piece that together. goku.. maybe not.#bulma is a genius but she's 'plot smart' because she's the brainiac in the martial arts show. putting her in death note is interesting 🤔
