You ever think of a post and then wonder if that's a hill you really wanna die on or if it's just a passing annoyance that you'll get over in like ten seconds once you find something better to do.
Anyways I ended up smartly deciding it was the latter and decided to scrap my Relatable Grievance and kept playing Lunar 2 for PSX and to introduce a less important annoyance I think it's kind of fucked up that there's one whole party member that's just AI controlled and her AI only barely helps the team and she also can just leave battles.
Like, conceptually having her there does not make the game more difficult, because her options are either 'do something with no impact' or 'do something with some positive impact', but it feels annoying because when the rest of the party is 'cooperating' (via player control), it feels like one person in the discord call who's just pressing random buttons and doesn't want to work with everyone else.
Playing D&D and 4/5 of the party is locked in and then my fucking warlock is choosing between self-buffs or an attack spell on a coin toss and sometimes just stops engaging in the encounter all together.
It is unique though, I'll give the game that.
