so uh. history repeats itself i guess

if y'all are following the trend of pokeganda blogs popping up you might have noticed like me that this is basically the daily blog trend two years later just with a bigger focus on reblogging art by others than drawing your own. i have no doubt that there are more past trends for pokemon blogs on tumblr that could also be used as examples of history repeating itself but this is what i have experience in.

and just like the daily blog trend, i made one relatively early on, when there were enough people already doing it so i wasn't a trendsetter, but still a while before the huge boom in popularity. and just like before, i never really attempted to advertise my blog or interact with other blogs doing the same thing, meaning that my blog remained relatively unseen even though it was created before other blogs that ended up being more popular.

so anyway i don't really expect anyone to care about all that so what i really want to say is please follow me at @poppaganda so you can see all the great content from various artists im collecting and thanks

So the college I dropped out of sent me a bill for over $1000 that I gotta pay off. My parents can’t help me much since they’re also behind on bills and my entire family is just, struggling financially right now. I’ve been applying to jobs and will keep applying to jobs around here but as of now this is my only source of income.

tumblr in fact does save original full resolution version of pictures you upload and its accessible for everyone. tumblr started saving the originals around december 2012 so everything uploaded after that has the originals accessible.

so like if you need to access the originals for whatever reason, this is good thing to know. also if you are artist who prefers to not have their originals out for everyone to grab, you definitely should be aware of this and you might wanna start resizing the stuff you upload on tumblr.

to access the original file, you have to get the direct image url and replace the *number*.media in beginning with s3.amazonaws.com/data and the number in the end (usually something like 400, 500, 540, 1280) with raw
