I’m so past the end of my rope that I stopped reaching for it
Depression is an emptiness that fills every crack of your being, your inner most self.
It starts as a dark shadow that fills your frame, placing you in isolation and sorrow.
Your vision and mind cloud and dim, leaving all you alone with your sins ; a prison, boxing you in.
Then you feel trapped and claustrophobic, incapable of sleep or rest.
Depression is my oubliette.
I call her the devil because she makes me want to sin. Every time she knocks I can’t help but let her in.
She was my fish. In my sea.
I dissociate as a meditative pastime
I destroy and betray myself for things I barely remember
Loneliness in the summer is more intense. The nice weather makes me wish for adventures with someone, especially at night.
