Inadequancy and suffering are our friends and they are holy handicaps that keep us tied to the hand of God – gifts, talents, abilities and dreams are all oversold. There’s a pattern in scripture: its not weakness to strength, its from strength to weakness. Brokenness is not a sense of worthlessness, brokenness is not an overwhelming sense of you can’t do anything, brokenness is a sense of God-needingness. Your greatest friend, is knowing that you’re perpetually in need.

Our worst prayers may really be our best. God seems to speak to us most intimately when he catches us off guard.
CS Lewis (via danielkeem)
paulkwon: When I ask someone “how are you?” I don’t want to know all the superficial things or that you’ve been “good”. When I ask how you’re doing I really want to know the real struggles and hardships that you’ve been facing, the fight that made you cry, the test you stressed all night about, or the phone…
I am amazed in God's beauty. #God'sbeautyinrancho #thisiswhereigrewup
When we are living in obedience to God, that fact in itself will be a testimony against wrong. When those around us see us helping rather than exploiting, hear us talking with purity instead of profanity, and observe us speaking truthfully rather than decitefully, our example will itself be a rebuke of selfishness, unwholesome talk, and falsehood… Often, of course, open rebuke is necessary… Many Christians do not expose and rebuke evil because they do not take it seriously. They laugh and joke about things that are unadulterated wickedness, that are immoral and ungodly in the extreme. They recognize the sinfulness of those things and would likely never participate in them; but they enjoy them vicariously from a distance. In so doing, they not only fail to be an influence against the evil but are instead influenced by it – contaminated by it to the full extent that they think and talk about it without exposing and rebuking it… Some diseases, chemicals, and nuclear by-products are so extremely deadly that even the most highly trained and best-protected technicians and scientists who work with them are in constant danger. No sensible person would work around such things carelessly or haphazardly. In the same way, some things are so spiritually disgraceful and dangerous that they should be sealed off not only from direct contact but even from conversation. They should be exposed only to the extent necessary to be rid of them.

Omniscience is a great thing. It’s not so much that God looks down and spies you out; that’s only half of the truth. Do you know that if it weren’t for omniscience there are some days when God wouldn’t even know you loved Him because it isn’t obvious. And if He didn’t know everything He wouldn’t even know you cared. I suppose in my life there are plenty of days when I am indistinguishable from one of the world’s people. Would you agree that is true for your life? How does He know I care? He has to know a lot. He has to know everything. He has to know my heart. Oh, that gives me confidence even when I blow it. My love is still secured because He knows my heart.
John Macarthur (via danielkeem)
Christians tend to motivate others with guilt. We tend to say: You would do this if you were really committed Christians, indicating that we are committed and all that is needed is for others to become as good as we are! This is why so many churches quench the motivation of people for ministry. In our shoes, Paul would say: Remember the grace God has showered on you—what does living out and enjoying that grace look like in this situation?

Name above all names
Birth Order
Did you know your birth order reflects your personality of who you are today? Oldest Child:  The oldest child are rarely bad. They come off as bossy because they created a sense of responsibility at a very young age. They are usually the most bossy in the family however, they are people pleasers. Oldest children tend to marry or stay and maintain a relationship for a long period of time. They are perfectionist and at times put themselves under a lot of pressure. Youngest Child:   They often behave as if they are the only child. They expect others to do things and make decisions for them. At times they feel the weakest/smallest of the family. They are very tricky and know how to manipulate people into doing things for them. The youngest child are fun and very liked by others. They are usually really good at examining and studying people. The youngest child are usually the loudest of the group. They seek and like being paid attention to. If you are dating a youngest child, the worst thing you can do is tell them what to do. They have low maintenance expectations in a relationship. They are innovative and usually have the best sense of humor. They are usually undisciplined, self-centered, and have a high ego of themselves.
Middle Child:  The middle child never had rights of a older and younger child. They often feel as if life is unfair. They are very adaptive and can compromise better than others. They are good at keeping promises and get along people really well. They are willing to do things differently. They are very independent and usually don’t rely on others. They are the peacemaker of the group but at the same time is rebellious. Friends might become an impact on the middle child’s life. They are very stubborn and dislike computation. They don’t usually ask for help. They either feel too embarrassed or rather learn for themselves. They either marry quickly, or really late. If late, they will wait for the right/perfect person. They are calm but fierce on the inside. They don’t like to open up or share their feelings. (Keep in mind this doesn’t relate to every single person. The study has been proven that these traits do coexist. If you don’t believe in these text then research it for yourself. Keep your rude comments to yourself) Â
