I'm a music director at transformation church and I must say that this has been one of the most challenging years of my musical career. I've learned so much and am continuing to learn more. We have the so fly mix tape coming up to be released this August and I under pastor/producer Michael Todd have the honor of overseeing the project. It will involve crazy versions of music that's already out there that people know and love to the lyrics of worship music that we have been singing forever.
So here's a simple recipe. Prep work only took 5-7 minutes, if that. In separate bowls pour flour, breadcrumbs of your choice (I used panco), and about 4 eggs “ whisked together #8221; into three separate bowls. Next, slice 1 onion into medium size circles. One by one, place the onion circles into the egg batter covering it on all sides, then place it in the bowl of flour, back into the egg batter, and into the breadcrumbs. Lastly, place in a household fryer filled with about 1 cup of peanut oil or the oil of your choosing. Heat to 375 degrees and cook for about 3-4 minutes.
Aaah yeah. You guessed it onion rings. Tomorrow ill tell you how I made them right in my home kitchen . Right here at BL living. Thanks for reading.

Lesson of the day
Don't light your grill through the hatch. All the gas from the lighter fluid builds up and you could get burned... I may or may not be speaking from experience. Lol recent experience!!
Homemade Tandoori Chicken
Tonight I made homemade grilled tandoori chicken. I started by firing up my makeshift chimney starter that I made on Memorial Day. It gets the job done and gets the coals nice and hot. I love using the direct heating method which allows me to control my heat better and section my grill from high, mid, and low heat from right to left. Seasoning was simple; smoked paprika, cumin, coriander, grated lemon zest and its juice, grated ginger, salt and pepper, yogurt and cayenne pepper. It tasted good. Pictures in the previous post. Â

"I've been living life so closed minded"
Growing up I was always taught that I had to choose something, that one thing and that’s it…
So remember my previous post where I was talking about how peaceful and quiet it was? Well, not even a minute into this post my little brothers let out an obnoxiously loud laugh, waking my son up thus shortening my writing time to all of about 30 seconds. Sigh, guess it just wasn’t meant to be.
Till next time, folks.
Peace & quiet
Now that everyone Is fast asleep it gives me sometime to plan, think and most importantly write.

Often times it’s the stupid things we’ve done that shows how much we’ve grown, or have not grown.

My mothers mouth never moved and she made not a single gesture but even still, her words had never been clearer, and though I cared enough to allow my heart to be shaken, like my father, I was stubborn and prefered to show little weakness or remorse for my words. I thought it better to learn more so from experience than from the wisdom of those that came before. Or so I thought.
