I also approve of Derek Theler as Superman.
(He would make a good Captain America as well.)
@derektheler: Wore these shoes today.
Imagine your Smol and Tol otp where Tol is doing push-ups and Smol is lying under them so they are more motivated to stay up on their arms and keep going and sometimes when they push down they get a peck on the lips (and then Tol gets tired and collapses heavily on top of Smol, smushing them while they flail)
Don’t you know the animal I can be?

A few days had passed since Mark had came back into his life. Since that night that he found the ring that had meant to be for him. Maybe he had over reacted when he had basically pushed Mark out of the apartment but he was freaking out. His world felt like it was going to collapse in on him and he really just wanted to drink. He didn’t know what to say. How to react. A few days had passed since he had now last had a drink. As much as he wanted to down all the bottle he had, he just couldn’t bring himself to do so. He needed to have a level head since Mark could come back at anytime wanting to talk and he couldn’t exactly come up with a reason to not talk to him. He could run away. Pack up some things, book a coach and find himself some place deep in the woods to hide out. He felt sick. It was all he could think about. Mark, the ring, the look on his face.....his heart wanted to give out. “fuck...Fuck....FUCK!” He yelled out. He didn’t want to go to Beau. It was Beau’s fault that he was back in his life to begin with. Slumping down against the wall, he began to ponder what he could do now.

dudetor:
THE SUDDEN shift of Brad’s demeanor seems to catch Mark off guard, BROW furrowing for a second as the lumbering football player struts across his room, fumbling his way through drawers and finally fishes out the test. And there it was. BRIGHT RED ink––––B+ plastered across the top. There’s A MOMENT where he’s essentially DAZED, TRYING to figure out what had just happened before running a hand across his face and TAKING the test in his hands.
“You got a B+ by yourself? CHRIST, Brad–––”
HE’S PROUD! He’s confused. He’s SURPRISED. All these sudden shifts in thought flood in at once and he’s BESIDE himself. Pausing only briefly to smile, and glance at the other man.
“…I’m proud of you.”
IT ROLLS so easily off the tongue and he just HOPES, begs the universe, to show him how wide of a smile Brad can give from knowing that he’d done AMAZING and that every ounce of priase he receives is EARNED.
Watching his boyfriend and tutor’s face at the sight of his result was priceless. Sure, if he had studied just a bit more, then he could have possibly gotten a higher grade but hey, he was proud of himself either way and he could see that Mark was proud of him too. “Sooooo, since I no longer have a test tomorrow, how about you and I go out for food or stay in and order something in.” He winked as he moved to join the older male on his bed, hands locking onto to the other’s just to hold them. It had been a a few days since they could meet up that didn’t involve tutoring and so he just wanted to not let Mark go tonight now.
“Asking where memory is “located” in the brain is like asking where running is located in the body. There are certainly parts of the body that are more important (the legs) or less important (the little fingers) in performing the task of running but, in the end, it is an activity that requires complex coordination among a great many body parts and muscle groups. To extend the analogy, looking for differences between memory systems is like looking for differences between running and walking. There certainly are many differences, but the main difference is that running requires more coordination among the different body parts and can be disrupted by small things (such as a corn on the toe) that may not interfere with walking at all. Are we to conclude, then, that running is located in the corn on your toe?”
