tgc really doing it out here. I’m emotionally devastated, I actually cried, I just. They really put it all in chapter 4. We all played this game we know what happens. We know everyone dies, we know the krill are outside and there’s nothing anyone can do about it, we know they’re about to break in and kill everyone.
And in true tgc fashion, instead of showing you a sad horror scene, they show the people come together around the candles and each other and sharing light with each other…for like the last time ever…and then they fade into stars. Emotionally devastating. I’m not ok actually. This is peak art.
And the quest???? They plop you into the wasteland temple, facing the door that we know the krill break through, that we just saw, that we understand that immediately kills the soldier we just helped, and then when you turn around, there’s the statue of that soldier and I’m just. 😟
Just sitting there shocked after it all like what the fuck. That was so beautiful, that was so sad, that was so well animated, that was so well done. They went so hard on this.
