this is how i feel in the grocery store right before a blizzard
Tom Brady tried to stay out of the spotlight this season, but we learned more than ever about football's most successful and secretive star. Perhaps because we care enough to piece it together.
“He can't uncork 50-yard lasers like Aaron Rodgers, but he also doesn't have to. He is better at taking a scalpel to a defense than anyone who has ever lived.”
I haven’t been on Tumblr in months, but I had to sign on and post this. I've read A LOT of articles about the Patriots and this is probably one of the best articles about Brady that I've ever read...even if you hate him. To say I got emotional while reading it would be an understatement.
Waiting...
Ben Carson scares me way more than Donald Trump does.

“The important takeaway from [Patriots v. Jets] is when a team gets one yard rushing from its running backs and you basically tell the other team we’re making ourselves one dimensional, so try and stop this. And Tom [Brady] goes to work like that, that’s something we may never see again. I mean we are seeing something right now, we’re witnessing maybe the best head coach-quarterback tandems of all time that may never be matched, and we take it for granted now, and we’re like ‘ah, that’s just Belichick and Brady’, but that’s something so special to watch him do what he did yesterday and the way he truly manipulates defenses. I mean, I saw one play where he is truly looking right at Revis and just pumps him a little bit, so he can just get him to move for a second, so he can hit a fade ball behind him. Quarterbacks don’t do that. He’s so dialed in. It’s just so fun to watch.”

Thanks @patriotssb49 for the tip.

It’s not fair He’s a Gronk
This was the only moment I had of laughter during this game...until the last whistle blew and I was able to breathe for the first time in 3 1/2 hours.
This was ridiculous.
The NFL is a macho, a grown-ups league, an ultra competitive league full of Type A personalities. To have one coach loom over so many others – not all of his peers, but many – is almost unfathomable. Yet New England’s opponents keep making terrible decisions, keep obsessing over shadows, keep sweeping locker rooms for bugs, keep complaining to the refs, keep staring across the way and wondering what the Hoodie is up to.

“Baby I love you more than I can put into words or more than any song I could ever write”
Check out ESPN SportsNation's Chat with Tedy Bruschi.
“I haven't figured out Todd Bowles as a head coach yet, but I'm telling you right now, this is the best team the Patriots have played this year -- better than an opening-night Pittsburgh team that had a young defense which hadn't figured it out yet. Better than Buffalo. Much better than the Jaguars. And I'll take them over the Cowboys and Colts”
Yup.
Anne Hathaway knows eggs-actly how she likes her breakfast — and that's bad news for her server.
So we ran into the cast of All That at NYCC and maaaaaaaaybe had a sing-a-long.
(On a completely unrelated note: For shame Kel, for shame.)
Me at 5pm today.
