1. How would you describe your personal style?
My style consists of a mixture of streetwear brands with minimal pieces. Most of the time I like to keep it monochrome and sometimes I like to add some color. My daily outfit consists of how I can put an outfit together with a mixture of streetwear, inexpensive brands, and sometimes high end. I collect a lot of sneakers, so most of the time my outfit is completed with a pair of sneakers. Unless I’m going out for a special occasion at night then I switch it up to a pair of heels. Some of my favorite brands right now are Stampd, John Elliot, Oak+Fort, Anti Social Social Club, and Uniqlo.
2. What is your current day job?
I currently juggle between being a full time student finishing up my last term of college and working two retail jobs. I currently work at a lifestyle shop called Bait, it recently just opened up in late August located in downtown Portland. The brand offers a wide range of limited edition footwear, streetwear, and even collectible art and vinyl toys. When I’m not working at Bait, I work at H&M at a mall close to where I live.
3. What is your favorite thing to do on a winter day in Portland?
A winter day in Portland for me usually varies on what I have planned, most of the time it consists of trying to find new spots to eat or drink at. But my favorite thing to do in Portland is finding a new coffee shop to try with my boyfriend.
4. What are you go-to pieces in your closet at the moment?
I think my top 5 go to pieces in my closet right now are my black Saint Laurent Sac De Jour bag, Anti Social Social Club’s black weird cap, Aritzia’s Taula black Morton jacket, Nike Sportswear’s Black Tech Knit hoodie, and my Nike Flyknit Racer Oreo 1.0.
5. What's your favorite trend of the moment and have you tried it?
My favorite trend right now is probably the desert color palette, consisting of brown, tan, and burgundy that has been inspired by Yeezy Season 3. A lot of my clothing pieces I have been purchasing recently are the color tan. Another trend I have started to like and try is the soft pink color. Especially on sneakers lately and I don’t usually like pink but I have been purchasing the soft pink colorways on a lot of my sneakers.
