Finally...this beast is complete. Literally, just now. Happy Sefikura Saturday!
Can I just say that I worked really hard and I love this one? I love this one. This is the quality that I want to give you guys every week. The detail I was able to get into with Sephiroth's hair, the care I was able to take with the shadows...but wait, there's more. Before I show you my reference screenshots, please take a look at what I had to do here:
Cloud is short. Quite short. Okay, well, Sephiroth is a freaking giant. And together, they cause this problem frequently, where there won't be enough Sephiroth for Cloud. And we can't have that! D: So when that happens, I literally have to extend Sephiroth, piece by piece, until Cloud is satisfied, like so:
It's a long, messy process, and you can see all the seams here from before I blended them. So much work! But, that being said, I love that kind of shit. It's so enjoyable(yet nerve-wracking) to watch it all come together...and I want to try and have this kind of quality every time. If you compare this one to the last two(all running on a similar theme, I noticed >_> ), this one is far superior in many ways.
So that is why, as of now(at least until winter), I will be doing as I do with the doujinshi, and releasing a preview after one week, and the finished product on the following Saturday. Really, I hate to do this. I wish I could clone myself about twenty times(that would be amazing) and get everything done. Alas, we can't do that yet, so...for now, we'll try this. I'll do it on the opposite schedule of the doujinshi, I think. So next weekend, you'll get a full doujinshi and a WIP manipulation. The weekend after that, it'll be a doujinshi preview and a full manipulation. Sorry for that, but there's just too much going on right now. D:
