MEN ARE NOT TRASH BY DEFAULT, & BTS TAUGHT ME THAT:
Namjoon taught me that men can be smart and able to take responsibility in different situations. That men can grow up from their mistakes and become better people.
Jin taught me that men can cook and love pink too and are not scared to do what society entitles to women in particular.
Jimin taught me that men can be attentive and sweet. That men too can be cute and act cute. And they don’t have to be “manly” but be who they are.
Taehyung taught me that men do not need to have six packs to be attractive. And matter your gender to be ok with your insecurities and turn them into confidence.
Jungkook taught me that behind a shy man may reside a funny and entertaining man and to give every man a chance.
Hoseok taught me how men can be respectful to women no matter their background. Like the time he told the BTS members not to touch the ARMY who was wearing the Hijab and was about to take a selfie with them because it’s disrespectful in her religion. So all the members executed.
Yoongi taught me that women empowerment is a thing that should be popularized. Like the time he became Yoonji, a very powerful and proud woman.
BTS sees women in a very respectful light. because they know most of their fans are sisters, mothers, wives and daughters. They wrote songs especially to empower women and tell them they are beautiful just the way they are and that they can stand for themselves. BTS IS THAT GROUP. BTS ARE THOSE MEN.
