Finally got around to finishing Noire’s body and just in time for her birthday! This was definitely a struggle as I chose the base model poorly and clearly didn’t think it through. But it was all worth it for best daughter! That shield will always be there and I can’t make it go away without it looking weird. Happy birthday!

                    If she had coined him as a traveler by first glance, then she was surely optimistic.  To assume that he – a man adorned in an enemy’s armor – was meant to do harm was a level-headed assumption.  Many others would do the same.  He had not expected her to know his intentions.  Perhaps the tone he had used made her feel as though an apology was needed… which, might he add, is ridiculous.  Why was she apologizing for something she hadn’t known?  He assumes that he will never know if she does not disclose that information.. perhaps he should lay that path of thought to rest..?

“As I said, I only mean to pass,” Leo states, his gaze cast upon her in cautious curiosity.  She had offered a place to rest?  She had given him permission to pray at their shrine?  Odd actions, indeed, but they were made in good nature.  Or, at least, he had assumed as such.  Her kindness seems unwarranted… was it because she had assumed he was hostile?  What was it?  Her actions brought many questions to his mind; the only thing that drives him to ask is a need to sate his curiosity. “Why do you offer me rest?”

    “M-My teacher taught me that kindness is a common courtesy. I could gain absolutely nothing from... well, from being rude.” It was quite a cheesy teaching, yes, but nothing was more soothing than the way of the generous pacifist. After all, she too was once offered a place to rest and pray at this very shrine, and since then she felt as though she finally found her way.     “---Oh, p-please excuse me, I still have chores to do.” Quickly glancing around, the maiden eventually recovered the iron rake she previously held before being startled. “I-If you’ll be on your way, then safe travels...”

    “S-- Stop moving!” Noire pleaded, her irritation slowly becoming evident as she maintained her aim -- not directly on him, but rather, the yellow handkerchief loosely attached to him. He promised that he would help her improve her archery skills, but he surely forgot about that.     “Dammit Inigo, hold still!!”
