[Confirmed] Johnny was hospitalized

The Johnny’s office announced on the July 1st that the company’s president, Mr. Johnny Kitagawa (87), was hospitalized for “subarachnoid hemorrhage due a rupture of cerebral aneurysm” on June 18.

Arashi talked about Johnny health on the press conference for “Arashi exhibition Journey” (Roppongi, 3 pm Japan Time)

Mr. Johnny faint at his house around 11:30 am on June 18 and was transported to emergency. On the words of Matsumoto “Arashi saw Johnny san on the following day”.

Matsumoto said, “On June 18, our president, Johnny Kitagawa has been urgently transported to the hospital. We received the report and we the five visited him the following day. And since that day I’m frequently go to Johnny’s room as much as possible. “Now we pray for Johnny´s health for he will recover well as soon as possible” . And he add “I hope everyone can be most calm. Thank you so much” .

The report adds the confirmation of the visit of severals talents to Johnny’s room [Kondo, Higashiyama, Nakai and many others]

In addition the office and Matsumoto recalls “Johnny san is working hard for his recovery”.

After hospitalization, weekly journalism and blogs spreaded various speculations, so today the office formally confirmed the fact of hospitalization and announced the name of the disease.

And seems from that day Johnny Kitagawa (87) remains in hospital. The official statement knock down all the speculations about his death.

Author note: Thanks God Johnny is alive! and he already fight for his full recovery. Is shocking me the fact is Arashi himself explain the situation. I didn’t expect this. Glad to hear Matsumoto´s kindly words, I saw he was deeply touched. Get well soon Johnny san!
