my opinions on cancel culture
MY OPINION!!! i understand some people can disagree on others’ opinion but please respect my opinion, if you dont agree, don’t hate on my opinion just keep scrolling (: !!

TO start this off, i believe that cancel culture has been used in a bad way, im not saying that we shouldn’t cancel people, but being canceled can go way too harsh.
cancel culture has affected our english language in many ways, like adding new “terms/slurs” that are offensive to a certain group (im not saying that we should hate these groups but they need to stop adding new words to make them feel “special”). cancel culture has also impacted other people as well, like people being scared of what to say since they are scared of being canceled, losing jobs since rumors can be spread around due to canceling someone which leads to them having no money to pay for important stuff and etc!, celebs can lose their career and many sponsorships and can lead to mental problems as well, depression, anxiety and etc. these are examples of the impact of cancel culture.
people who have been impacted by cancel culture get removed from the table, they are locked up and punished like a 2-year-old and not allowed to say anything, im not saying that we should never use cancel culture and not educate others, but we should use cancel culture the right way.
you may be thinking after reading all of that, what can i do to help in this matter? what you should take away is to solve a lot of the world’s problems respectfully and politely but a firm conversation with each other, and the ability to be open-minded towards others’ views. instead of childlike, immature insults, toxic behavior, and tantrums on the media. we need to communicate with people, many problems are caused as a result of miscommunication, misunderstanding, and narrow-mindedness when they don’t need to be. our generation should believe in loving everyone and accepting everyone instead of being cruel and unforgiving. no one isn’t perfect it’s normal to make mistakes, that’s why we learn from our mistakes to be better people.
