I love guys who actually ask for consent and make sure you want want something before actually doing anything
*casually slips my hand in your inner thigh while we’re at the dinner table*
Don’t drink and drive your dog won’t understand why you never came home

Redhead thinspo
Because I dyed my hair ginger and need some inspo
my new roommate said that her last roommate had an eating disorder and then talked to me about her clean eating and weight loss goals and how she buys clothes that are a little snug to motivate her to lose more
and like honestly? i have anorexia but this is why i constantly talk about the dangers of the “health and fitness” industry and diet culture bc we have essentially normalized certain symptoms of disordered eating but it’s ok if it’s under the guise of health i guess???
like how is calling it “clean” eating NOT a way to moralize food
how is intermittent fasting NOT the same thing as skipping meals
how come when i buy clothes that don’t fit, it’s something i have to tell my therapist about because it means i am putting pressure on myself to fit into them, but if a “normal” person does it then it’s just motivation for them?
where is the fucking line???
and more importantly when are we going to start acknowledging that the entire world is pro-ana but that’s too harsh of a description so we slap some health buzzwords on it to make it palatable
when are we going to take responsibility for encouraging disordered behavior instead of labeling those of us with EDs as the crazy/imbalanced ones
your fucking Whole30 or keto or whatever “clean” diet you’re on is just as restrictive as the diets we create for ourselves due to our disorders. but we are the crazy ones, right
Fucking repost.
THE ANA HANDBOOK ULTIMATE MASTERPOST
So I made a post like this on my old blog, but that blog got deleted and while the post got lots of notes it doesn’t seem to be circling around anymore, I haven’t been able to find it, and even if I could I wouldn’t be able to edit it, and I’ve seen some more things that I didn’t put on the original, so here is a new, updated ana handbook masterpost, divided into sections by content!
DISCLAIMER: This post is NOT meant to promote disordered eating to people without EDs, or to trigger a relapse in people who are recovering/have recovered. This post is for people who currently are dealing with eating disorders. If you do not have an eating disorder, do not read this post. If you are in recovery, do not read this post. If you’re like me and have an ED already, aren’t ready to recover and need tips and motivation to trigger yourself, you’ve come to the right place but I just wanted to put that out there so people don’t think I’m promoting EDs. I support recovery and am only pro for myself.
Now without further ado, here is the Ultimate Ana Handbook!Â

Online class tips for those who hate online classes:
Get blue light blocking glasses if you can. Or sunglasses. They will help eye strain and headaches
Actually listen to lectures and pay attention
Try doing classes when you normally would in person
Textbooks! They are great to help
Take notes during lectures. Treat online lectures like an actual in person class.
Don't sit in bed all day. Be active. It helps you focus when you actually sit down for class.
Listen to the lectures outside if you can!
Start a drinking game with your friends in the class
Get your pets involved!
For people like me who are super anxious and hate talking in class, this is a perfect opportunity to participate and ask question without being in the spotlight
Get cute stationary. You aren't spending on gas and eating out so invest in some cute stationary!
Reach out to your virtual communities for help and interaction, like studyblr
Reward yourself!
Schedule time to sit and focus on school work
Dress up! Be dramatic!
Don't want to sit still? Desk excercises!
Mentors and people in the field!! Find them and email them!
Make bets with yourself
Make your notes into art and hang them around
Have nerdy conversations with the people lucky enough to be stuck with you
Write notes in a foreign language you want to learn
Clean your room so it's suitable for education
Learn that you can cus out your teachers now and they can't hear you
Educational podcasts
See if you can download lectures as mp.3 files so you can listen instead of staring at a screen
It's ok to cry during class
Sit somewhere with a wall that you can blank out at when your eyes get tired
Stretch breaks
Playlists for classes to play when doing work
Naps are valid
Cold, damp rags work wonders for hurting eyes and headaches. Lay back, close your eyes, put the rag over your eyes, and maybe nap
Burn some incense to add liveliness to a boring class
Everyone will love if you send pictures of your pets
Keep snacks and water nearby you during class to avoid getting up and leaving
Print out materials if you can
Get ahead when you can. Do things early. I have a friend who has already finished her classes a month early
CALENDARS
Study break where you don't use electronics or read
Make sure you charge everything over night
Treat it like actual class
Tests are probably open book so organize those notes!!!
Don't want to do work? Just do 10 minutes of it
21 Tips to Become the Most Productive Person You Know
I wanted to help you create explosive productivity so you get big things done (and make your life matter). Here are 21 tips to get you to your best productivity.
#1. Check email in the afternoon so you protect the peak energy hours of your mornings for your best work.Â
#2. Stop waiting for perfect conditions to launch a great project. Immediate action fuels a positive feedback loop that drives even more action.Â
#3. Remember that big, brave goals release energy. So set them clearly and then revisit them every morning for 5 minutes.Â
#4. Mess creates stress (I learned this from tennis icon Andre Agassi who said he wouldn’t let anyone touch his tennis bag because if it got disorganized, he’d get distracted). So clean out the clutter in your office to get more done.Â
#5. Sell your TV. You’re just watching other people get successful versus doing the things that will get you to your dreams.Â
#6. Say goodbye to the energy vampires in your life (the negative souls who steal your enthusiasm).Â
#7. Run routines. When I studied the creative lives of massively productive people like Stephen King, John Grisham and Thomas Edison, I discovered they follow strict daily routines. (i.e., when they would get up, when they would start work, when they would exercise and when they would relax). Peak productivity’s not about luck. It’s about devotion.Â
#8. Get up at 5 am. Win the battle of the bed. Put mind over mattress. This habit alone will strengthen your willpower so it serves you more dutifully in the key areas of your life.Â
#9. Don’t do so many meetings. (I’ve trained the employees of our FORTUNE 500 clients on exactly how to do this – including having the few meetings they now do standing up – and it’s created breakthrough results for them).Â
#10. Don’t say yes to every request. Most of us have a deep need to be liked. That translates into us saying yes to everything – which is the end of your elite productivity.Â
#11. Outsource everything you can’t be BIW (Best in the World) at. Focus only on activities within what I call “Your Picasso Zone”.Â
#12. Stop multi-tasking. New research confirms that all the distractions invading our lives are rewiring the way our brains work (and drop our IQ by 5 points!). Be one of the rare-air few who develops the mental and physical discipline to have a mono-maniacal focus on one thing for many hours. (It’s all about practice).Â
#13. Get fit like Madonna. Getting to your absolute best physical condition will create explosive energy, renew your focus and multiply your creativity.Â
#14. Workout 2X a day. This is just one of the little-known productivity tactics that I’ll walk you through in my new online training program YOUR PRODUCTIVITY UNLEASHED (details at the end of this post) but here’s the key: exercise is one of the greatest productivity tools in the world. So do 20 minutes first thing in the morning and then another workout around 6 or 7 pm to set you up for wow in the evening.Â
#15. Drink more water. When you’re dehydrated, you’ll have far less energy. And get less done.Â
#16. Work in 90 minute blocks with 10 minute intervals to recover and refuel (another game-changing move I personally use to do my best work).
#17. Write a Stop Doing List. Every productive person obsessively sets To Do Lists. But those who play at world-class also record what they commit to stop doing. Steve Jobs said that what made Apple Apple was not so much what they chose to build but all the projects they chose to ignore. #18. Use your commute time. If you’re commuting 30 minutes each way every day – get this: at the end of a year, you’ve spent 6 weeks of 8 hour days in your car. I encourage you to use that time to listen to fantastic books on audio + excellent podcasts and valuable learning programs. Remember, the fastest way to double your income is to triple your rate of learning.Â
#19. Be a contrarian. Why buy your groceries at the time the store is busiest? Why go to movies on the most popular nights? Why hit the gym when the gym’s completely full? Do things at off-peak hours and you’ll save so many of them.Â
#20. Get things right the first time. Most people are wildly distracted these days. And so they make mistakes. To unleash your productivity, become one of the special performers who have the mindset of doing what it takes to get it flawless first. This saves you days of having to fix problems.Â
#21. Get lost. Don’t be so available to everyone. I often spend hours at a time in the cafeteria of a university close to our headquarters. I turn off my devices and think, create, plan and write. Zero interruptions. Pure focus. Massive results. I truly hope these 21 productivity tips have been valuable to you. And that I’ve been of service. Your productivity is your life made visible. Please protect it. Stay productive.
