“This is quite the view.”

[ Everett couldn’t help but beam when Blaine commented on the view, nodding his head enthusiastically as he straightened up in his seat. He’d spent the past six months scrimping, and saving, all so he could buy this busted up old car that they were riding in, all for this moment. The car had no top so when you leaned back in your seat, all you could see was the night sky and the scars twinkling brightly. He flipped the middle console up so that he could shift closer to Blaine, ensuring that the car was in park, before draping an arm around his shoulders and snuggling up to him. ] “I thought you’d like it.” [ He added softly, turning his head so that he could press a gentle kiss against the underside of his jaw. ] “You can see the stars so good from up here – I wanted to show you before you left, but I didn’t have the time.”

“But look, over there – “ [ He pointed with his finger, voice low as he explained and pointed things out, a lazy smile on his face. ] “That’s Ursa Major. People call it the ‘Great Bear’ but it kinda looks more like an elephant, if you ask me. I’m guessing the ‘Great Elephant’ just didn’t sound as cool, when they were coming up with names. Anyway, I just like coming out here and looking at the stars, and I wanted to share that with you… I guess. You probably don’t get to see a lot of that out in NYC, y’know?” [ He paused at that, giving Blaine time to find the constellation he was pointing out, before chewing on his bottom lip nervously and speaking up. He hadn’t just brought him out here to look at the stars, that was just an added bonus. ] “And I guess I just wanted to enjoy them one last time… before I get to NYU.” [ He reached into his pocket and took out a folded piece of paper, handing it to Blaine nervously as he smiled. He’d been denied acceptance last summer, and had been devastated, but now a year later the tides had turned, and he’d finally be joining his brother in New York City. They could be a real couple – falling asleep together every night and waking up together, holding hands (carefully) while taking a stroll together in the park, ice skating in the winter, meeting each other for lunch in between classes, and everything that they’d been missing out on while he’d been stuck in Westerville the past 12 months. ]

Seeing [Chuck] opening night was really emotional. There were a lot of times I got emotional, but I lost it when I hugged my brother. Where was he sitting when you were performing? Shout out to people who have a hard time controlling their volume when talking, and who always speak too loudly or too quietly.

Whether you are teased for being too quiet but it’s really nerves/anxiety/shyness, and/or you have a hard time talking in an “indoor” voice when excited so people are constantly telling you to quiet down and “chill out”.

You’re okay. I know you try hard. I know you mumble incoherently when scared and yell when talking about something that excites you. It’s okay. I do it too.
