SP Yama Usagi's Event
Like SP Kingyo Hime in 2020, SP Yama Usagi can be temporarily obtained from a free method.
During the event, you can access SP Yama Usagi's event via the courtyard. On the event page, there are 6 lots of Dream Worlds. A Dream World is unlocked every 2 days.
Each Dream World has some story and 3 missions. The 1st mission for each world is a battle where you play as SP Yama Usagi, while the other 2 missions will vary from "type SP Yama Usagi's name in world chat" to "clear an evo zone 3 times".
Due to issues with the WeChat part of the event for CN, some additional loading screen illusts will also be available as achievements in the event. To unlock the achievements, you need an accumulated total of 500 Talisman Pass EXP.
When you have collected a specified number of Carrots, some exclusive rewards will be unlocked. Those rewards are:
20 Carrots: An animated phone wallpaper (for both iOS and Android, can't be obtained on PC).
100 Carrots: An SP Yama Usagi themed animated icon frame.
120 Carrots: 1 free copy of SP Yama Usagi.
FAQ:
I forgot to do the event missions for a few days, can I still get her?
As long as you can complete all the missions at any time after the 8th day and before the event ends, you should be fine.
Is she in the summon pool?
No, but she will be added at a later date.
Can I use the gold summon ticket I got from Suzuhiko's summon event to get her?
No. That golden summon ticket can be used for shiki in the current summon pool.

True Feathers Event
Another new event that seems to be more filler. The event coincides with the release of SP Kaguya and lasts for around 1-2 weeks. During the first phase, there are 2 main parts; Aromatic Festival and Bamboo Forest. In phase 2 the festival and forest will be replaced by a wave-type battle for 3 days then a server-wide boss on the last 2 days.
1st Phase
Aromatic Festival
Participate in the festival by helping rabbits serve customers who come to their stalls and get points. If you've ever played a diner-dash type game, this part of the event is like that.
Upon starting the event activity, you'll need to select 3 or more rabbit to serve the stalls in the festival. You'll then have 60 seconds to serve the various shiki who'll come to the stalls. Serving them gives points based on the stats of the rabbit serving them, some shiki will have a 2x or 3x point bonus. Every shiki will have a preference for a certain stat, so it is important to assign the right rabbit to the right shiki to maximise your points and reach the target points. When the 60 seconds are up, you'll receive a few random 5-6* souls, 2 Bells, 20 Susuki Grass and event currency. Depending on whether you reached the target point score, you'll receive more event currency. There's also a leader board, but it is just there to show off your high score and what rabbits you used. There are no ranking rewards.
At first you will only be able to select 3 rabbits, serve 3 stalls and have a target score of 2000. By participating in this part of event, you'll unlock missions, and in turn unlock 3 more stalls, increase how many rabbits you can select by 2 and increases the target point score up to 200000.
You also start the event with 3 R rabbits. To unlock more, you need to summon them with Bells. Can summon with 1 Bell or 3 Bells. Duplicates and Susuki Grass are used to upgrade the rabbits. Susuki Grass is only for upgrading, it can't be used to "shard" a rabbit you haven't summoned. Every rabbit can be upgraded to level 5. At levels 3 and 5, they'll gain a bonus. For some of the SR and SSR rabbits, their level 5 bonus is a passive effect. Moon Drops obtain from the Bamboo Forest are for summoning SSR rabbits. So if don't want to rely too heavily on rng for SSRs, farm the forest bosses first.
Festival stalls have an extra purpose - unlocking and increasing your daily rewards. By assigning rabbits to the 3-6 stalls, the daily rewards will become unlocked. The quality of the rewards depend on 1 of the assign rabbit's 3 stats. Each stall needs a max of 800 of a required stat to get the max daily rewards. The max daily rewards are:
180000 event currency
120000 gold
240 Sea of Eternity Scraps
150 AP
30 jade
12 4* EXP souls
Daily rewards must be manually claimed.
Bamboo Forest
Defeat bosses to get rewards. Bosses cost 1 Lantern to challenge, are solo only, can be done on auto and has a total of 10 stages. Clearing a stage within 10 turns unlocks the higher stages and you can get a few extra rewards. Before challenging a boss you can select your preferred drop reward; souls, evo, gold or EXP. Every time you clear a boss, the Wish Power bar/orb on the left side of the screen will slowly fill up. Every 15 bosses cleared give rewards such as 30000 event currency, a Moon Drop, a Bell and 30 Susuki Grass.
2nd Phase
When phase 2 begins, the bamboo forest and rabbit diner-dash activities will be replaced by a wave battle and then by a server-wide boss. At the top right of the event page, there will be change moon phases. The moon phases grant onibi related buffs during the wave battles and debuffs during the server-wide boss. Phase effects are:
Full Moon (day 8): Gain max onibi at end of every turn.
Waning Moon (day 9): At the end of every turn, the onibi bar increases by an additional bar.
Crescent Moon (day 10): For every 1 onibi consumed, damage dealt is increased by 8%.
New Moon (day 11, day): Special skills cost an additional 1 onibi to use.
Crescent Moon (day 11, night): Max onibi is reduced by 2.
Waning Moon (day 12, day): The onibi bar will not gain any bars.
Full Moon (day 12, night): Lose 2 onibi every at end of every turn.
There are total accumulated rewards for defeating a total of 6000 Moon People. The most notable rewards are; a loading screen illust, 5 black daruma shards and a 5* drum realm card. Make sure to unlock all the rewards during the wave battles.
Participating in phase 2 at least once grants you the Tsukinohime icon frame.
Wave Battle
In this 3 day part of the event, you participate in an "endless" wave-type battle (if you remember the snake part of the boat event, it's kind of like that). Costs 6 AP to do, is solo only and can be done on auto. In the battle you need to KO a total of 100 Moon People with a 3-minute timer. When 1 Moon Person is KO's, a new 1 will immediately spawn in its place until you KO all 100 of them or the timer ends. The drop rewards are the same as the Bamboo Forest rewards, however, only the first 20 clears give event currency and Moon Cocoons.
Before starting the battle, you may notice a check box next to an icon of Tsukinohime. Ticking that check box lets you use the Tsukinohime mode. If you were around for Castle of Sun event and remember the Takiyasha mode for the server boss, it's like that. Tsukinohime and an SSR Kaguya will replace your team and they will one-shot the Moon People. The Tsukinohime mode can be used 10 times a day, usages don't carry over to the next day, so try to use up all your usages for the mode before 24:00 each day.
Server Boss
Once the wave type battles are over, the battle against a server-wide boss will immediately start. Boss costs 8 AP to challenge, has a 3-minute timer, is solo only and be done on auto. The boss itself isn't that tough. However, it does have an attack that can inflict confuse on 1 shiki which can be a bit annoying.
Again, drops rewards are the same as the Bamboo Forest and the wave battles. Only the first 10 clears give event currency and Moon Cocoons.
Bonds
This is where you can see your unlocked bonus stats and unlock equippable bonus effects. The bonus effects apply to both phases of the event.
Bonus stats are unlocked by obtaining a total of 120 Moon Cocoons, which can be obtained from bosses in phases 1 and 2. The max unlocked stats are 20 SPD and 20% ATK/crit/crit DMG. Bonus effects are unlocked and can be upgraded by using 4 Moon Cocoons.
Only a total of 4 bonus effects can be equipped at a time. Full translations of all the bonus effects aren't available, so make sure to read them ingame once the event is active.
Exchange Shop
It's split into 3 tabs with all the usual stuff - random SSR/SP, black daruma, event packs, etc. There's also a new Kaguya skin, an event icon and 1 loading screen illust.
In the shop, you can also purchase an event s-jade pack that costs 35 s-jade (CN price). There's a pack for phases 1 and 2. If you want to farm the event a few extra times each day during both phases or want the extra round of mochi, then make sure to buy the s-jade pack on day 1 and day 8.

It was a moving moment that can only be seen for a few days a year.
The room itself is not red. The light that has passed through the autumn leaves is further reflected by the red felt, and the light illuminates this room with the autumn leaves.

[REVIEW] Her Love in the Force: Shusuke Soma - Who I Once Was
Guys, I’m supposed to be dieting during this quarantine period but Voltage is keeping me FED with all this new amazing Soma content.
HLITF fans, we have been blessed with amazing Soma content recently. Soma’s S3 Love’s Battlefield route was probably one of, if not the, most memorable HLITF routes I’ve ever played. I also adored his PoV despite it not covering all the moments that I personally wanted to read. (I understand disappointment over it, but I found that the bonus scenes they gave us made up for it, and it allows me to play with my own imagination a bit and potentially write up some fic for the scenes not in his PoV hehe.)
Like the manic Soma fan that I am, I had to IMMEDIATELY buy and read this route. I love him so much I am willing to do anything just to understand him even a little bit better. To my delight, I’m not even a little bit disappointed. And the route even made me spend 300 more coins to buy Goto’s Episode 0 so well done Voltage lol.
I will summarise my thoughts on this story and then get into some more detail in the cut below. With that said, if you know Soma’s back story already, there isn’t much information to spoil. But I’ll leave some of the more surprising details under the cut.
This story shows us an unfamiliar Soma. This is a Soma that is far colder than even when we first meet him as a Special Instructor at the Academy. He battles with his conflict over his future and what he feels like his life’s purpose is, which is all sparked over his sister Kurume’s comment that she sees him as a hero. Throughout the route, he struggles with aimlessness and his futile attempts to investigate the metro gas attack even while doing his work in the Criminal Affairs/Investigations department, where he becomes the mentor for new recruits Ichiyanagi and Goto. That’s RIGHT, we finally get the Soma/Goto/Ichiyanagi Criminal Affairs dynamics that I have been waiting for years for ever since finding out that they all worked there together! (The only thing missing is Hayase but I guess he’s from a different timeline lol).
This is something that makes the route super enjoyable to read because we get to see a Soma who isn’t as gentle and reticent as the one we know. He’s a bit colder, a bit harsher, and has less tolerance for antics. We also see Soma as a mentor before he became an instructor and it’s so cool to realise that Goto and Subaru are so capable partially because of the harsh but fair mentoring of Soma and the way that he’s not only drilled the fundamentals of police work into them but also supported them emotionally through the trials of losing a loved one. This route really helps you understand why Goto has so much trust and respect for Soma (and I’d like to see more Soma/Subaru interactions!)
We also get to see Kurume for what I believe is the first time, which is incredible to be able to put a face to the name. I am such a sucker for big brother Shusuke and seeing more of his life with Kurume really adds depth to our understanding of his character and why/how losing him has made him lose perspective of his own life and identity.
(I don’t know if I can explain in words how devastated seeing the two of them together made me feel…)
The route also gave some more insight into the Goto/Kazuki situation which was used really well to offset Soma’s own situation regarding vengeance and unresolved grief. We also get to see more of the relationship between Soma and Goto and how much Goto respects him as a senpai even though Goto transferred to Public Safety first (on the recommendation of a certain elite ;)). There are also some great Ishigami/Soma moments which I’ll elaborate on under the cut, as well as some things I discovered while cross referencing between this story and Goto’s Who I Once Was.
I love that there’s a theme running throughout the story, which is about defining a hero. This is a crucial question which underpins Soma’s incessant yet pointless attempts to figure out his identity and purpose in life. I love that we begin to see him figuring out what being a hero means to him and that Goto’s own grief and slow road to recovery, and the way that he’s affected Goto’s life, is what sets him on this path towards figuring out where to go from here on out. This path is then what leads him to his MC, who we can see is someone who grabs him by the hand and pulls him ever forward.
To put it briefly, this is a route you’ll enjoy if you love Team Ishigami. You get to see both Soma and Goto pre-trauma (you get to see a younger Goto than in his own episode 0), but then you see both of them forced to confront grief head-on, and then you can see how they both help each other to move forward in their own subtle ways. This story also showcases the best of Ishigami, a man who is collected and analytical but is always thinking of how he can help those around him who are hurt. Like how Ishigami and Kaga are saved by Namba, I would say that Soma saves Goto, then Goto returns the favour, and then Ishigami saves them both.
Keep reading under the cut to see my further thoughts on Soma: Who I Once Was. I provide extra details about the story and provide some analysis on his relationships with his colleagues and his MC with lots of screenshots for evidence!

Hakurou Boss Trial Event
A week-long Boss Challenge type event. If you’re never done it before, it’s like an event version of Regional Oniou / Area Boss.
Boss
The boss menu is accessed by clicking the featured shiki on the event map. Once the menu pops up you can read their skills, fight them solo or co-op, and increase the boss difficulty with challenges. Defeating the boss will give you a score based on the challenge difficulty level.
Each day the boss will travel to a new place on the event map, the boss mechanics will change on days 2-6.
There is ranking, but the only reward is bragging rights and showing off the team you used.
Challenges
To get a high total score for defeating the boss, you need to increase the boss difficulty by selecting challenges. Each challenge selected will increase the difficulty level by the number on the top right of the challenge icon and every day it would increase. In the 2nd event, difficulty levels no longer increase every day.
Each type of challenge is separated into 3 rows by difficulty, ie 1st row with purple icons are Easy, 2nd with yellow are Medium, and 3rd with red are Hard. You can only select one (1) of each type of challenge. So you can't pick both "Clear within 100 turns" and "Clear within 50 turns".
The default challenge for the boss in the first 2 events was "Clear within 200 turns", in the third event it was reduced to "Clear within 100 turns". The "Use an SSR or SP shikigami" is not available on the first and last days.
For the full list of challenges, please refer to the wiki version of this guide. You can also see how the challenges have changed since the 1st boss trial event with Kyonshii Imouto.
Rewards
Notable rewards in the exchange shop are 2 blue summon tickets, a 4* white daruma, demon souls, gold orochi scales, AP, soul boost, affection items, new shiki skin and a black daruma.
The unlock requirements for the shiki skin and black daruma are:
1st event: Have a total score of 70 for the Kyonshii Imouto skin and 130 for the black daruma.
2nd event: Have a total score of 30 for the Tesso skin and 70 for the black daruma.
3rd event: Have a total score of 30 for the Hakurou skin and 70 for the black daruma.
Event currency is obtained by doing missions and fighting the boss. In the 2nd event, the Tesso Boss Trial, a maximum of 1000 event currency can be farmed from the boss every day.
Example Teams
Since there is so much customization with selecting challenges, I will not be recommending specific teams with mitama/souls. So instead examples based on top scoring teams from CN and CN test server will be listed.
If you are interested in finding additional video resources with souls sets and stats, search for the term "妖行试炼" on bilibili or youtube. Might need to sort results by newest. You should also refer to the Kamigame and Roundtable guides.
Day 31 - Remains
Natsume is left with many memories, safe keeps, and a huge legacy. He is the only one that remains from the Natsume family and the living image of his grandmother, that yokai and humans alike still remember
His past and the people he could have shared it with won't return, but he has future full of new friends and family to look forward to
And this is the end of artober!! For the first time I haven’t missed a single day and finished it in time! Granted, I wanted to to and add more thins (especially the line in this one) but at least I can say that the main thing is done! 😭🙌🏻
Thank you all so much for your likes and comments and reblogs, they’ve made my day 🌸
Happy Halloween and a lot of this beautiful series for everyone!✨🎃🐾
