Iâve been finding time to catch up with gameplay and loreâIt appears Iâve missed a lot, haha. I still have so much more to do.
All this talk about CRK X Reader isekaiâs, but has anyone considered how our reader ends up in Earthbread, in the first place?
Of course magic plays a big role in this, but what about the specifics?
What Iâd like to know is how it would be conveyedâWould it be a mystery throughout the story thatâs revealed towards the end? Perhaps our reader figures it out over the span of their adventure, piecing everything together little by little. All they know is one moment theyâre minding their own business, and suddenly theyâre in one of the games they frequently play.
Does the reader do something that causes this sudden isekai? Does it have to do with the device itself that they use to play the game? A while ago, I wrote about cookies managing to escape the confines of a device after it breaksâI wonder if this concept could be reversed where breaking a device could unleash the magic that brings our reader into Earthbread.
Or rather, does it have to do with something going on in Earthbread and the reader was unfortunately caught in the crossfire?âWhat if a magic wielding cookie tries to summon something and accidentally brings the reader into Earthbread? There are many places in Earthbread looking to advance in magichanical technologiesâWhat if a machine malfunctions and somehow brings over the reader?
Does Dark Enchantress Cookie or another antagonist have to do with it? And if so, what would be their motive to bring the reader to Earthbread?
You can tell Iâm just dancing around the idea of actually sitting down and writing an entire self aware CRK X reader fic. Anywho!

đ«Iâd say this is a semi Self Aware AU. If that makes any sense? A partially Self Aware AU?
What if the cookies were aware of your presence, but werenât aware that they were within a game?
đ«To them, Earthbread is all theyâve ever knownâA world full of magic thatâs home to glorious kingdoms, with all kinds of cookies.
đ«And yet theyâre completely unaware that this place is nothing but a game. Lines of code, a bunch of zeros and ones behind a screen of glass.
đ«And then thereâs you, this mysterious anomaly.
đ«In their eyes, youâre some sort of strange, possibly benevolent entity that often interacts with them, but theyâre unsure about what exactly you are. Some see you as a witchâsome even mistake you for a dragon, of all thingsâbut those labels just donât seem to exactly fit you.
đ«What ever could you be?
But now take this concept, and sprinkle in an isekai.
đ«Imagine suddenly ending up in Earthbread, and youâre greeted by the cookies youâre familiar withâBut youâre the only one who is aware of the fact that this world is a game. (âŠor are you?)
đ«There may be points where youâd casually mention an in-game mechanic or something, and all you would get in response are looks of pure confusion.
đ«Gacha? Kingdom passes? Soul stones? NPCâs? What on Earthbread are you talking about?
đ«Thatâs when you begin to realize that they have no idea.
đ«Itâs such a strange situationâWould you try to tell them the truth about their existence, or would you simply play along?
đ«There might be some cookies who are completely self awareâIâd like to think a cookie with the Light of Truth may know a thing or two.
đ«Pure Vanilla Cookie may pull you aside and gently urge you to not say anything about this place being nothing but a gameâWhich baffles youâThis cookie has the power of truth, wouldnât he want to reveal it? Donât cookies deserve to know? This isnât very âLight of Truthâ of himâŠ
đ«Itâs rare for a cookie like him to hesitate in striving for truthâItâs so unlike himâBut he has his reasoning. He supposes that this situation may be an outlier.
đ«Deep down, he fears of what could happen if all is revealed. He fears it would only cause Earthbread to erupt into more chaos, or worse. Itâs a heavy and bitter truthâthe kind that the average cookie may not fully comprehend. Itâs a truth that leaves even a cookie like him feeling lost.
đ«While he always strives for the truth, he canât help but feel conflictedâtorn between revealing the truth or remaining silent. He does aim for the betterment of cookiekind, but what good would it bring to tell a cookie that their entire existence is apart of a mere game? To tell them that all theyâve ever knownâevery feeling theyâve ever felt wasnât real?
đ«Pure Vanilla Cookie knows the truth about himselfâabout Earthbreadâbut despite the circumstances, he strongly believes that everything still matters, game or not. He deeply cares about the cookies around himâhis dearest friends, and that includes you. He hopes you understand where heâs coming from, with this.
đ«But the truth can only be concealed for so longâHe knows this.

đ«Aside from Pure Vanilla Cookie, thereâs a high chance that there may be some other cookies that are fully self aware.

Imagine going on this journey all across Earthbread with the one cookie you think would not get along with you whatsoeverâEither you dislike them as a character, or your personalities clash. (Honestly, it could be more than one cookie. Bonus points if those cookies donât get along with each other, either).
Or maybe itâs a one-sided dislike and they actually want to be your friend and get along with you, but you donât, or vise versa.
The circumstances of you meeting them and their motivation for helping you may vary depending on which cookie you choose.
Maybe theyâre the only self aware cookie, and theyâre the only one who recognizes you?
Or thereâs some sort of magical balance being disturbed upon you being thrown into Earthbread, and in order to restore it, they have to help you return back homeâOtherwise chaos will ensue?
Either way, there is some sort of circumstance where theyâre stuck with you, and youâre stuck with them.
Will you manage to get along with them? Perhaps by the end of your adventure, youâve unexpectedly made a new friend?

Imagine this: A CRK roleplay blog that focuses on your in-game kingdom and its many happenings.
The blog would basically report news about whatever is going on in your kingdom. Posts would basically consist of a headline, with little blurbs, possibly interviews from random cookies. Itâs also a good opportunity to show off some cool kingdom designs!
If you have a lot of time on your hands, what about giving your kingdom some lore? Consider giving names to locations within your kingdom, too! If itâs requested, I can make a post containing bullet points full of questions that could help you develop some lore for your kingdoms!

âWell, Iâm just here because I heard a rumor that none of the musicians actually sing at their live performances.â claims an attendee, âI heard they just lip sync. I wanted to find out for myself.â

Bizarre cake monster sightings are suddenly on the rise in (Kingdom name) since the beginning of the festival. While some scholars are hesitant to draw a correlation between the festivities and the increase in cake monsters, others believe theyâre being drawn out from the nearby forests due to the smell of festival food.
âThe cakes just wanted to enjoy the festival, tooâŠâ says an anonymous cookie, âThey deserve to partake in the festivities as much as you do.â
While there hasnât been any major concerns regarding the cake monsters, festival goers are advised to remain cautious.
I just placed a bunch of random cookies here, not really much of a storyline, but you could really have fun with thisâadding relevant cookies to whatever story youâre planning to tell.
While you have the main headline, the image and interviews could add to the storyline, with little developments here and there.
I was planning on making some sort of mystery that the viewer/other blogs must solve, where each post includes some sort of clue. It could be hidden messages in the article, or something within the images. Itâs up to the viewers to work together and solve it! But hold this thought!

this is somewhat similar but what if the cookies in your kingdom knew about you? not as a Baker or Witch but simply as a Watcher, mainly always keeping a watchful eye on Gingerbrave's kingdom but has visited the other areas merely to peer into their daily happenings, or well, if the cookies feel like they're being watched, then more of, unusual happenings as it seems the Watcher's presence is felt more clearly when things are about to go down

đ«Earthbread is home to a variety of strange anomalies and fantastical creatures. Magical creatures arenât uncommon, in this worldâBut what baffled scholars the most was a strange entity Cookies could feel watching over themâAnd it was especially prominent whenever theyâd visit the Cookie KingdomâBut why?
đ«You had a variety of titles, given to you by various different cookies across Earthbread. The Viewer, Watcher, Audience⊠âChatâ. You could be considered to be a legend, by some cookie standards. It was quite the popular topic of debate among scholars. Some cookies are adamant that itâs merely a hoaxâThat maybe cookies are just imagining the feeling of being watched, while others insistently argue otherwise, having been familiar with you for a very long time.
đ«Knowing youâve been watching over the Cookie Kingdom, Gingerbrave may view you as a friend whoâs keeping an eye out for him and his friends. Throughout his journey across Earthbread, your presence motivates him to stay brave in the face of danger!
đ«Wizard Cookie would be hesitant to trust you at firstâThis all sounded absurd, to him. And what would your motives be?âWhat if this supposed ally is actually up to no good? What if youâre actually one of the witches?! All this confusion would hurt his head andâUghâŠGreat. Now he has a headache.
đ«Some cookies claim to have actually encountered this âstrange spectator.â Eclair Cookie insistently claims that something frequently watches him in the museum, and afterwards, heâd receive several anonymous relic donations. Relics from all across Earthbread!âCheesepad Tablets, Choco Rice Cake Seals, even actual dragon bones! Heâs unsure who or what exactly is responsible for these donations, but heâs confident thereâs a correlation! Heâd like to have a word with themâIf he could find them, that is. Heâd love to thank them for their many contributions butâŠWhere on Earthbread did they find this many relics? Perhaps theyâre an avid cookie historian too?âGASP!âOh, he absolutely must speak with them at once, if that is the case! This is Cookie History in the works, you know! Now, where is his quill?âHe HAS to write THIS down!
đ«Cookies often feel that strange presence when theyâre going into battle. Golden Cheese Cookie couldnât deny the feeling of something watching over her while she faced Burning Spice Cookie. But it wasnât an ominous presence, no, not at allâPerhaps it was the spice ancestors watching over her? Whatever it may be, it only fueled her determination to face Burning Spice Cookie, and protect her precious treasures!
đ«Tea Knight Cookie would recall a strange feeling of eyes on him and his comrades right before a dragon would strike. Theyâd know danger was to arrive the moment they felt like they were being watched. Though this confused the knightsâIt didnât feel like the piercing eyes of a dragon hunting them down, but what else could it have been? Now heâs left without his comrades, or any solid answersâMaybe it really was just a dragon? That was until he visited the Cookie Kingdom. Perhaps heâll finally find answers to those questions that have lingered in his mind.
đ«Because of this heightened presence before battles and strange happenings, some cookies may regard you as a harbinger of conflict, of sorts. Though is it really you who is causing such havoc? Some cookies believe that maybe youâre just trying to warn them of the danger that lurks in the near future? The biggest question that still remains unanswered is whether or not youâre an ally to cookies. Though while some remain skeptical, there are some cookies who strongly believe youâre rooting for them.
đ«In fact, there may be some cookies whoâd look forward to your little glimpses into their kingdoms. Itâs likely that Hollyberry Cookie would regard you as an ally, who keeps a watchful eye over her and her friends as they enter the battlefield, or even during a friendly spar! Itâs not surprising that a cookie who highly values friendship would consider you a friend! If only she could figure out how to get some berry juice to youâŠShe would!âDonât think she wouldnât try!âFor anyone who shares a drink with her is a friend!

Without going into details thatâll spoil it, Iâm working on an immersive x reader fanfic, and I was wondering if you would all still be willing to read it if I also included some of my OCâs?
Would the inclusion of my OCâs break the immersion for you, and discourage you from reading onward? Should I stick to featuring only canon characters? Does it depend on how frequent these OCâs show up and how relevant they are to the plot? Would your answer depend on how likable these OCâs are? Do tell!

I just had the cutest thought for self-aware crk, but imagine if the player had a young child around 3 or 4 years old that likes watching their parent (aka the player) play the game. I just thought it was a cute idea, especially for the cookies that are canonically parents. You don't have to respond. I just needed to get thought out of my head

A very awkward first meeting, if you ask me. It seems you may have left a bit of a strange first impression, for some cookies.
Iâd like to think the moment you close the game, your cookies are free to rest, and do whatever they wish. Perhaps the sugar gnomes would offer to take their spot, for the time being.
However this implies that when you log back on, your cookies would have to drop whatever they were previously doing to rush back to the Jampie Diner or the Windmill to look like theyâre getting their work done.
