If he does, like. What does he do with the shedded feathers?

Does he sell them as souvenirs, or does his quirk still work on them?

Does he have a mattress business on the side where he just stuffs them in and hope his durable, sharp as fuck feathers are soft enough that no one notices?

Does he just have a giant mountain of red feathers in the basement of his agency?

I’d imagine that it would be an interesting conversation to the new hires when their employers have to explain it during the tour. Like:

Employer: So here’s the vending machine, and just past the vending machine is the Pile. Do not touch the Pile, it’s off-limits

New hire: The Pile? Why? It’s a pile of feathers, why can’t I touch it?

Employer: Yeah, it’s a rule the boss implemented after Dave the intern from three years back tried to swan-dive into it. Poor bastard forgot those feathers are sharp enough that the boss can use them as swords
