Trolleite is a rare mineral that forms in high-pressure metamorphic environments in aluminum rich rocks, and has a Mohs hardness of 5.5-6. It was recognized as a mineral in 1868 after specimens were collected from an iron mine in Sweden. Collecting localities include Sweden, Australia, Japan, Russia, Madagascar and a couple of locations in the United States.

Not much is know about the metaphysical properties of Trolleite because of how rare this mineral is - however, it is rumored to be a Guardian Stone, protecting ones home and everything/everyone in it. Trolleite is also made up of Quartz, Scorzalite (lighted blue), and Lazulite (dark blue coloring bordering navy/black depending on how much is included), and I would imagine that Trolleite would contain the metaphysical properties of all 3 of those minerals. An absolute powerhouse for your Third Eye chakra!
