And honestly, the only answer I’ve got is: Yuuri’s old man just randomly named him Kino !

Hi 👋 I too think the same 🙂↕️ Yuuri’s father actually named him Kino. Before Yuuri’s daddy picked him, he was just a pitiful child wandering around Rotteinberg following a shooting star.

According to Seji, Kino is neither a vampire nor the son of Karl's Heinz , but he has a clear connection with him and has magical power: perhaps during his visit to Rotigenberg Karlheinz left some physical particle of himself (for example, hair), and miasmas from it gave rise to an "immortal who does not exist" (LE Kino Manservant End). Child Kino just woke up one day in that place, not understanding who he was and where, and wanted to "quietly disappear" ー however, noticing a shooting star in the sky, decided to follow it (LE Kino Prologue). The abandoned child was picked up by a ghoul who saw Karlheinz in that place: he brought him to his house "with some hope" and began to raise him with his son Yuri as brothers (LE Kino Ecstasy 10).
Sitting in the dungeon of Sakamaki Castle, Kino thinks that he could have lived in such a place and that his mother was probably of very low origin, since he was in Rotigenberg (LE Laito Maniac 05). The Sakamaki brothers also thought: if Kino is a vampire, then his vampire mother (LE Laito Maniac Epilogue) should also be in those lands.

Before CL , in LE we and Kino thought that he’s Karl’s illegitimate child. But in CL route, Karl who either gives ambiguous or brutally honest answers, denied Kino’s while existence 😬🫣🫢 Karl who lived at least 184 regressions didn’t knew about Kino at all🙂↔️🧐🤨
So considering all facts, Kino is basically the child of rotigenberg and Karl?. Kino basically spawned from rotigenberg’s soil like in ancient greek myth's spartoi or Erichthonius 😏
