Words can not describe the disappointment my friend and I felt when we first played Ayato's hdb and more blood routes together and we realized there are no explicit scenes. Day 19: One of the cutes moments from the games
For me personally it's chapter 10 form Ayato's chaos lineage route (context: in chaos lineage diaboys don't have their memories and treat Yui like crap until she eventually makes them remember. At this point in the plot Ayato has already acknowledged his mistakes and Yui and him made up) because my boy actually apologizes for his behavior of the second time (this is diabolik lovers we have to get impressed by the bare minimum here 💀) I just feel like his second apology truly shows how much he's grown throughout the games. Like he actually thinks about his actions, at this point Yui has already made it clear she forgave him but even so he's still thinking about how his behavior affected her even in games before chaos lineage "If that crazy figure was the original me... You might've ran away some day". He has grown and matured so much since they first met and even tho he has flaws he's become so just grounded and self aware it's hard not to appreciate it. He no longer just cares about making Yui his he now also cares about being a good partner to her and that's the thing about Ayato ever since more blood he wants to be a man worthy of her love.
For context in mb after story Ayato reflects a bit and comes to a conclusion that he wants to go to college and make his own money aka not depend on anyone or anything so that he can build a life for himself and Yui. He wants to provide, he wants to make her happy, he make it clear there's nothing that will stand in his way to making his woman happy and it's beautiful. He swallows his pride and even tries to work for Karl at first and fails miserably but he still keeps trying.
Idk man I wish more people played through these games because a lot of people have a very wrong idea about who Ayato is as a lover and as a person like y'all this is peak shit right here stop playin with me 🦅🦅🦅🦅🦅🦅🦅🦅.
