🌹🧿 Ninian gave a little nod thinking as much with how the Guard spoke of the Glade. It would come about sometime, if the Emperor felt up to it. She knew that he wasn't doing well in these coming days and had been called to his side several times in the last few weeks.

The witch felt awful to see someone she loved so much in this amount of pain. The years had not been kind to her dear friend but when one was heading a battle for peace there would be strain. How she'd begged him to take it easy most days but ' justice didn't rest ' .

"I hope that we can all go together. Its been some time sense I've got to till the soil there and checked the remaining bushes. It would be a grand opportunity and teaching moment for you. To feel the magic that leaks into everything....it crawls up from the ground to meet us all....." How she wished to sleep on a nice warm spot of moss in the Glade like she use to back when she was but a small sprout.

"You need not hesitate, speak freely. If there is anyone at all in the castle to hear what's on your mind , it would be I." She continued to till up the soil around the plants not bothering with bug or worm that touched her hand. Rather working with or around to not cause harm to the very delicate ecosystem about them.

"The Titan itself is a holder of all life. It is our cradle and our grave in the end. It calls us forth and then asks for our bodies and magic back when the soil needs it. It's what makes Wild Magic so dangerous. Man is not to play god , we're here to tend the garden of our creator..... to keep order where there is none."

Softly Ninian stood taking the golden watering can with her to another spot in the gardens. Crouching down she continued her work pausing to show him a bloom or two.

"I hope that one day the Titan will speak with us all ... but for now we'll have to listen with our hearts and be guided by those with gifts to do so... I for one have only ever felt the Titan's guidance through my guardianship. Like hands.....roots reaching up to greet me through the very ground....."

It wasn't something that the witch spoke of , really Hunter was the first to be directly told without her voice faltering in her throat. There were just some things she couldn't speak to Belos about without the air becoming heavy. 🧿🌹

"I .... shouldn't." Hunter turned away, crossing his arms over his chest. If his uncle knew he had been pursuing such ideas about wild magic - it wouldn't turn out good. But if Ninian approached the idea, maybe Belos would be mored eased into the idea. Her words seemed so wise, yet so different. Perhaps dangerous.

"My uncle speaks for the Titan." he said, the words spilling from his lips as if on instinct. "It's -- it's rather amazing, really. Being able to feel the will of the Titan to guide us towards a better future." He didn't understand why Ninian and his Uncle felt the Titan so closely. He never had.

"Does ..." Hunter hesitated to speak, but he continued anyway. "Does the Titan make you feel powerful?"

🌹🧿 Ninian was a 'controlled' wild magic. She was made from the island itself , a child of the titian in a way. Make of dirt and bark of the very trees that gave magical life to Palismens. She didn't know that her literal roots were that deep , that the very being they were living on and in was her 'father' of sorts. There was no way to separate her from the isle but for the matter she was flesh and bone like Hunter. This made them of the same nature. Being born of true wild magic. As she continued to prune and water the blooms before them she paused. Taking in the youngers words on the matter. The hesitation and the strain to hold back that curiosity that befell all witches of the isles. It wasn't a bad thing, he clearly knew how to hold himself back and thus she found it ok to answer him. Hesitation in action even as the 'golden knight' was a good sign. It meant that he could still think for his own. "It makes me feel accepted. Welcomed and capable of doing what is right for our home. Powerful .... sure to most would see it as such, an untapped vain only given to a few. Though , do you feel comfortable wielding something that could even hurt the ones you love if not properly handled or respected? " Though her eyes could not properly see the boy she still looked to him and his answer. 🧿🌹

@tcthinecwnself 🌹🧿 Ninians knowledge was half the reason she was here, her tender heart couldn't let people suffer. Being a large example of wild magic eased into domestication was a really show of overcoming any obstacle. Really she was just overly empathetic, not that didn't mean she wasn't dangerous.

She let out a little chuckle feeling the joy in the air about the guard. Simple lessons were still important, a fundamental building block to their greater world around them.

"There are plenty of flora that can help cure. The bright purple bloom down at the corner is called Blooms Ear. It only blooms ever two weeks and can be used to sooth headaches but if overused you'll loose your memories so long as its in your system. " Ninian continued before pausing her hand at the question about her Glade.

"Has the Emperor not taken you to see the sacred Glade yet?" it was shock mixed with confusion, the Golden Guards were allowed to see the Glade once informed about it. An added note of it still being around that would be an added shock. There then was a moment were she covered her painted lips with the tips of her fingers. Perhaps she ruined the surprise?! Drat. Not that this would have been the first time, it happened before.

"Well the crow is out of the roost now.... The Glade is very much a sacred and well kept place by the Emperor. Though I do fear with each decade it's magic weakens ... not at many blooms can grow and if not for being here near the heart of the Titan itself I fear the most sacred of blooms could have been lost by now. " Ninian reached up to caress the crown of blue roses atop her head, weaved into hear hair as if to sprout from her very being. 🧿🌹

Hunter listened with wrapt attention. Palismen were made out of wood. He wondered, briefly, if there were other ancient magical plants that could help aid his ill uncle. Though, he would not dare voice these out loud. Those who knew of his uncle's illness were few and far between, and the walls had ears.

"Um -" The boy stood back up straight at her question. "No. Not yet." Not yet. His uncle had promised to show him the human realm too. "I know of it, we just -- haven't ventured together there yet." But surely his uncle would take him.

"I've heard much about it. That it's one of the most magical places, like you've said." Though, Hunter felt a little sheepish pointing it out. She, the Glade Keeper, would know more about it than anyone else. "Natural magic," he said, trying to avoid the world wild "Seems so bound to the Titan."
