how would hournite have gone on with no development with s3 confirming they get married later? That would be the biggest drama. If stargirl got renewed they would have to deliver. They’d HAVE give us fans something. Right? (Right!? 😰)

The marriage reveal in the finale was always something I think was only going to happen if it was the SERIES finale. If it were just a season, I don’t think there would have been anything and Hournite fans could rightfully be mad waiting for season four.

I think part of the issue with Hournite is a) Courtney was always going to need to have her relationship(s) prioritized and b) Geoff Johns only wanted to put them together towards the end, since he stated that he doesn’t like when couples are together and stay together with no drama (which was kind of elaborated when Steve Harper came on The Squadcast— a shameless self-plug, but also kind of a tbt lmfao). So, they might have written slightly more flirtatious dialogue, but I don’t think any romance would have been in the cards until season 5 (but it would have been smooth sailing* from there on out).

*Smooth sailing from a couple standpoint. From the fandom standpoint I think people would vent their frustrations every week until Hournite held hands in a park together or something lmfao

Oh, absolutely. I'd be living for the drama.

Can I absolutely stake my claim that IF the ISA returned, it prob would boringly be the regular, run-of-the-mill second-gen (still living) ISA kids, BUT what if it was organized and run by the original Fiddler? Like this old man is setting up this team (mainly Cindy and Artemis) because he blames them for the death of his son. Cameron is there because of course he is, and he obviously would learn How Isaac Really Died in real time (because even when he's in the loop, he's out of it). Also doubles because he could be some new music teacher that Courtney raves about because she's now in show choir because she needs to join a club to graduate or some nonsense.

Stargirl fandom, I know times are dire (the show got canceled due to the CW folding and the DC Universe completely rebooting for zero reason 2x combo) BUT what ridiculous drama do you think the fandom/the JSA would have gotten into if we had had a season four (or even that spin-off)?
