I'm so sorry about all the silence,.I got evicted and had to.move houses quick, but replies should be up soon!!!
tbqh I kinda want to add more fusions to the fusions page. I think there should be more anyway, considering sun has/had more interactions with other peeps ! ;o;
so if you’re interested in coming up with a fusion and/or further discussing one that was already made (meaning a gemstone was already chosen for them along with basic info LMAO), like/reblog/reply/send an ask/send a message/send a fucking smoke signal idk/just hit me up!! ;v;
Reblog if you're ok with other characters developing crushes on your characters.
Just to let people know that you will not be upset or uncomfortable if their characters do develop crushes and act/make advances to your characters! Also if you’re ok with certain characters but not others than please specify! (◡‿◡)

The air was hot and still, the lack of wind turning the air unpleasantly stale. The clean blue sea gently lapping against the dusty sand with a soft and tranquil sound that spread through the otherwise silent area of beach and rocks. For the most part this calming mood of just the area would have gone unappreciated, if not for the sole figure lying on the beach.
A light blue gem was lounging on the hot sand, taking in the sun lazily. A black tricorn hat resting on their head, covering their eyes. A grey shirt and brown trousers making up their clothes, their feet being totally bare.
They weren’t asleep but that was coming along soon thanks to the relaxing atmosphere around them
“No no no NO!!” The wide eyed gem banged on the board of buttons, fists doing nothing but making a racket.
“PLEASE! I just want to understand why!” The auto-pilot light had flickered out just as she was passing the moon, causing her to fall from the flock of small ships like her own. She knew that they did this to gems… Dropped them off on dangerous planets for the sake of getting rid of them.
But that was only when they were-
“I SWEAR TO IT! I’M NOT THAT! IF I WAS YOU… PLEASE TELL ME WHY!!!” Her voice cracked as a sudden rumble shook her round pod, beeps and screams filling the air as the ship began to spin.
There was a glimpse of off-white with foaming blue before she was slammed into darkness, the shallows spraying wet sand.
Aqua stood quickly, getting to a standing form in one smooth fluid action as the ship crashed into the water and crumpled into a blazing fireball. The ship was probably automated but Aqua being Aqua he couldn’t leave that up to chance, darting forward through the shallows the gem built up enough speed to slide through the water and kick up enough of it to slash the ship with it and putting out most of the fires.
Quickly finding a small gap in the ship the blue gem plunged his hands into it, tearing a panel off and making a big enough gap to grab the gem inside and forcefully pull them from the wreckage, throwing them to the beach before jumping onto the sand.
A few moments after the ship exploded into a blazing fireball, scattering parts and metal across the beach
A ringing noise banged around in her head, fingers curling painfully around her sides. Zircon was too dizzy to stand. Instead she curled around herself… Eyes squeezed shut. It felt terrible to come out of a crash…
Suddenly there was light behind her eyelids, and sound returned in too fast of a rush. There were strong hands yanking her from the ship. The gem would have screamed if she hadn’t been thrown towards the dry sand.
“….Urgh…” Zircon sat up, her body throbbing and screaming against the hot sand. The sudden violent explosion made her squeak, and she watched in horror as her ship shattered into unusable pieces.
Her eyes darted to the stronger… Unknown… Saviour standing in the sand nearby.
Aqua turned around to face her, shadowed by the bright flash causing his front to be drenched in a dark shadow. His coat flowing out to the side due to the blast from the ship and due to Zircon being on the floor and him standing at his full height he appeared to be much taller than in reality. Making a very intimidating figure.
Only when the ex commander stepped into a better lit area did his more kind features come into existence and soften the overall feel of the gems form
The heartbeat throbbing in her chest crawled into her throat as Zircon took in his features. Even as they softened she knew his look… His honor…. His position. A face could seem to change, to alter, or take on a different atmosphere, but it still held its original meaning.
Immediately the frail and weakened scrambled to bow at his feet, palms against the sand, fingertips barely brushing his toe tips.
“Thank you…. Thank you commander for risking your life for such a gem as I…. I am forever in your debts… Please… Have me repay you in whatever way you wish.”
The ex commander took a step back quickly, his one good eye gaining a look of confusing and slight panic due to the fact that no one had called him commander in a long long time and part of the gem wished that no one would ever do so again.
Clearing his throat he tried to remember how he spoke during the times under the diamond’s control. “That won’t be needed…who are you?”
She cast a shy, flustered glance to the mighty gem whom she bowed to.
“I am just a Blue Zircon sir…. I will give you my specifics if you wish…” His voice had such authority and grace…
Maybe she was disconnected from the group on purpose! She was to become his servant! If only she hadn’t panicked, Zircon realized there would have been a much safer landing.
A… Commander. She was serving a commander. She, a Zircon, instead of one of those… pearls. Her face grimaced at the sand as if she had eaten a mouthful of it.
“I..don’t think you’re specifics are needed.” Aqua was trying to keep it calm, talking like back on homeworld and with someone from homeworld no less brought back a few distasteful memories back.
The commander looked passed Zircon and spotted his sword lying on the hot sand, a dual blade connected at a joining tip and would link at the handle but that had been snapped off some time ago. “must have fallen out earlier, I’ll pick it up.”
She let out a shaky sigh, relief?? Flowing through her body. She must really be meant for him, and he had been expecting her...
"I can get it for you my Aquamarine!!" He was like her Diamond. The ultimate endearment of honor and respect. She was his servant, and he, her Aquamarine.
"Please! Let me fulfill my duties to you!!"
Wander
Before his hand could rest on her shoulder Zircon made sure to slip back a couple steps. This strange gem was not trustable. Why would she let him touch her if he wasn’t? The look in her eyes hardened to that of a general’s.
“I know I am just a pawn. I know my Diamond… May not care for me as much as a more valuable gem…. But… That DOESN’T mean I am NOT going to fulfill my duty!!!” She stepped forward, sky colored eyes slicing with their gaze into his.
“My SERVICE to BLUE DIAMOND isn’t without PRIDE! I. LOVE. MY. DIAMOND.” She snarled at him, fists balled, tears starting to well up in her eyes faster than a flood.
“I WON’T LET YOU TAKE THIS FROM ME! NOBODY EVER WILL EVER AGAIN!!”
He let her hand fall back to his side, not bothering to trying again. He wasn’t going to force his gesture of comfort if she didn’t want it. His smile fell at her hard stare, and his eyebrows furrowed slightly.
They furrowed even more as she started to raise her voice, and only relaxed when he saw the tears in her eyes. She knew she was a pawn to an apathetic ruler and yet she was still proud of it? And even went as far as to love her? Damn, this Gem was really dedicated. Or maybe she really was driven to madness by her abandonment and isolation. He decided to give her the benefit of the doubt and think the former.
Letting a quiet sigh escape him, he took a step back as well with his hands up in front of his chest. “Alright alright, relax. I’m not taking anything from you. And I really don’t know who you’re talking about. But I’m just stating how it is.” He chuckled and sat back down. “You may still be loyal to Blue Diamond, but that doesn’t mean I’m just gonna leave you here all alone. That’d be pretty shitty. So if you wanna keep waiting here, and you don’t mind me chilling here, I’ll stick around with you.” Even he wasn’t too sure as to why he was offering such a thing. But he knew what it was like to be isolated from any contact of one’s kind. He didn’t want her to suffer that any more than she already probably had. A small part of him was also hoping that if he stuck around long enough, she might come around to him. And it wasn’t like he had anywhere to be, either.
Her breath huffed and puffed, sniffling as she turned around to wipe her tears away. Zircon felt completely silly. Tears were useless. Just the product of needless emotion, and they didn't make her anymore appealing to anyone else.
The crunch of grass told her that Sunstone had sat down. He even said he was willing to stay... After she had yelled at him and caused a gross mess of tears. What a complicated situation... And an even more complex gem.
Her eyes casted a blank look from over her shoulder.
".... I don't understand.... I don't understand any of this." She felt the familiar burn in her eyes and pushed her eyes. The heels of her hands felt as if they kept more tears from spilling out.
Ever since this gem had appeared.... With only on argument.... Her world seemed upside down suddenly. It had been so long since she'd spoken to another intelligent gem, and he was everything a gem shouldn't be....

Her eyebrows furrowed slightly at his comment, but she did not deny his assumption of being lost any further.
His smile was… Un-professional. Warm, something like that she would see sparring Rubies give each other. It was not out of malice. Or even hatred. Yet… He announced no lower or higher position in the system. Just his name…
“I am waiting for my superiors…” Zircon’s eyes narrowed and she began to pace around the friendly gem.
“…. I am Blue Zircon, facet 86ZN, cut 9hmi. My purpose is to help decorate and build structures under the command of those chosen by Blue Diamond.” She stopped, facing him from his front once more, hands crossed behind her back. “…. What is your assignment, Sunstone?”
Placing his hands into his pockets, he watched her move around him. He didn’t mind her taking a better look of him, it’s not like he had anything to hide. It was amusing, though, he had to admit.
“Nice to meet you, Zircon!” Sun answered, turning his head a little to look at her. He nodded along as she spoke about waiting and her occupation. At her question, however, he stopped nodding. “My assignment?” He couldn’t help but laugh from it.
“Well I was a mercenary for Yellow Diamond, but not anymore. Been sorta ‘on break’ with assignments, doing my own thing and all that.” That was a light way of saying he was a renegade Gem. He turned around all the way to face her. “And uh, I hate to be the bearer of bad news by the way but…” He felt a little bad having to tell the truth, but someone had to. She couldn’t just sit here and wait for nobody. And he was the only one around to do it. “But if you’re waiting for your superiors or someone from Blue Diamond’s court, or just anyone from Homeworld for that matter, they’ve been long gone from this world.”
His laughter was confusing. Assignments were absolutely serious. There wasn’t anything remotely funny about successfully completing an assignment.
His next words stopped her with a frighteningly sudden coldness. Was?? On break??? Was he stupid? Was he luckier than possible???? How could he be on break?? With Yellow Diamond knowing he was disobeying orders? She felt her eyebrows tense and eyes squint almost painfully in thought. This was more confusing than the strange creature’s behaviors. Zircon almost didn’t hear him over her tumbled thoughts.
Almost.
“I know. I was here when they left. They told me to wait. So they’ll come back. I don’t know exactly how long it’s been, or how long I have left to wait, but it is my assignment to wait. I am loyal to my Diamond…” She tensed, standing straighter, face upwards in triumph and assurance.
“I am a Zircon. Just because we’ve… Been misplaced does not mean we have forgotten our true purpose. I will forever remain loyal to my Diamond and to her chosen honorables.”
Sunstone saw the confusion in her face and smiled sympathetically. Poor thing, she must be so lost on what he was saying.
But when she answered him, it was his turn to be puzzled. She knew they were gone but still waited all these years with loyalty?? If he were in her shoes, he would’ve ditched his allegiance a long time ago. How could she possibly still be waiting??? Either she was insane, naive, or ignorant. Or all three.
“Uhh, look buddy,” He started, putting a hand on her shoulder, “It’s been over 5,000 years since they left. If they haven’t come back by now, they sure aren’t coming any time soon. If at all. Especially for just one Gem they see as expendable.” He sighed, shaking his head. “Look, I don’t mean to sound mean. But the fact of the matter is is that they don’t care about a majority of us. None of the Diamonds do. To them, most of us are just disposable pawns to use at their whim.
Before his hand could rest on her shoulder Zircon made sure to slip back a couple steps. This strange gem was not trustable. Why would she let him touch her if he wasn't? The look in her eyes hardened to that of a general's.

The sky colored gem didn’t know how long it had been since she’d come to this planet. It hadn’t mattered. She was waiting for them to come for her. Patiently. Like a good Zircon.
So, for now, she sat at the treeline, watching the strange brown beasts with branches on their heads. She liked them. She liked drawing them in the dirt. They were majestic, and soft. Sometimes they even let her pet them…
Along the trail into the forest, Sun noticed someone sitting right at the treeline before them. They were a bit of a distance away, but it was obvious that the stranger was most likely not human. He walked over to them calmly so he wouldn’t startle them.
He paused for a moment, before giving a little wave. “Uh, hey! You lost or something, buddy?”
She jumped at the sound, her favorite beasts scattering, white tails fluffed up like a warning beacon. Standing quickly Zircon backed a step or two away from the taller stranger.
“…Lost? I’m not lost…” She looked the other gem up and down. He was tall, and stronger looking than she knew herself to be.
“I’m waiting.” Yellow, the color of one of the great Diamonds. Zircon decided she would wait to hear his rank before giving him the respect he might need. After all, a rank meant honor among all of the Diamonds’ courts, especially Yellow Diamond’s.
He watched the other Gem scramble to stand up, raising his eyebrows curiously. “You’re not?” He asked. For someone who claimed to not be lost, she sure seemed like it.
Shifting his backpack, he gave a warm smile and a nod. “My name’s Sunstone, by the way! So who are ya waiting for?” He even bothered to look around, as if whoever or whatever she was waiting for would pop out of nowhere. “And uh, what’s your name, if you don’t mind me asking?”
Her eyebrows furrowed slightly at his comment, but she did not deny his assumption of being lost any further.

The ship was quiet at this time of night. Quiet, save for the small, fabric softened taps of her feet on the floor.
Zircon liked how open the main deck was at night. Without all the hustle and bustle of workmen and supply organization. The space, empty and dull, was ready for her. She could draw her art with her feet, moving across the floor like her brush on a mural.
There was no sound, but Blue Zircon didn’t need it. The silence was… Calm. She allowed herself a small smile. Sure… She was not permitted to work at this time, but she wasn’t breaking the orders of her superiors.
This wasn’t work. It was art.
Tiger’s Eye was restless. The mission was not going as she had planned, taking much longer than planned. Arguments broke out amongst the crew, leaving at least three of her workers shattered or cracked. Pointless.
She paced the floors of the empty corridor, the main deck coming into sight as she thought. Something had to give. As commander of this ship, she had something to prove to her superior—no, her Diamond.
Motion caught her attention, and she sidled against the wall beside her, leaning to see what it had been. A simple Zircon gem, more or less made for decoration, was moving across the floor with grace Tiger’s Eye had not seen in decades.
She stepped into the main deck, boots thumping heavily on the floor as she approached the Zircon.
There was a noise, and the light blue gem paused in her art… It was probably just the ship settling, or a crewgem rolling over.
Sighing softly she turned on her toes, arms out in front of her in an o. She stepped before gently scooping down, leg out straight. Coming up with a gentle spin she-
Froze at the sound of boots. Immediately she fell from her toes to the balls of her feet, eyes darting to the large figure crossing the deck. It must be because she wasn’t sleeping. It looked suspicious. She wasn’t doing anything wrong, but her heart leapt to her throat anyways.
Tiger’s Eye leaned against a panel of the wall, a good distance from the blue gem in the center of the main deck. “Don’t let me stop you,” she said, almost as if a suggestion.
The larger quartz never had half the grace of any smaller gem. Pearls, Zircons, and even some Agates were small and agile, but not fit for battle, regardless of how well speed would assist against the enemy.
The peace and…how to say, dignity, of the smaller gem almost put Tiger’s Eye’s rushing thoughts to rest. It was enough to be able to simply watch the story being told, the picture Zircon was painting with her movements.
Her pulse quickened, throbbing in her throat as a cold sweat dotted her brow. It was the commander… The honorable being of justice, leader of the Diamonds’ will on this ship…
And she wanted her to continue her art…
“Th-thank you….I…I..” She swallowed her words. She was to perform, not to speak. Closing her eyes and sighing Zircon rose to her toes once more.
Time for a new chapter of this art. She quickened her steps, spinning fast and tumbling down, rolling on her shoulders to be up once more. Her hand splayed on her chest, the other on her forehead in a motion of shock and despair.
The captain’s hand rested over her own chest in almost a mirrored action, taking in the change of pace. It was incredible. Having the time to dwell on other thoughts, Tiger’s Eye wondered what it was like to move so smoothly. How freeing it must be, to be able to seemingly float from movement to movement without a moment’s hesitation, without worry of where the next step would land and if that was the proper move to make. It would be ridiculous to ask, she decided, as well as disruptive to the other gem’s performance. She would keep those thoughts for another time, and enjoy the show for now.
Zircon snuck a glance to her mighty superior, and she felt...
She felt honored. Tigers Eye... Captain of the Ship and this Mission, Tigers Eye, was watching with an expression she knew that she wore for others. It was amazement. It was appreciation. It was enough to make her smile ever so slightly as she flowed towards the captain.
Her feet flitted daintily, spinning to make her turn lazily. The sad swing of her arms began to stiffen, hands like knives, a foot stamping down before she leapt. Back straight, face up, rising like the Diamonds from the tragedy to unite all gems and restore order after the war.
She landed solidly in front of the much taller gem, taking a moment to stand straight and bow slightly.

It was the commander... The honorable being of justice, leader of the Diamonds' will on this ship...
And she wanted her to continue her art...
"Th-thank you....I...I.." She swallowed her words. She was to perform, not to speak. Closing her eyes and sighing Zircon rose to her toes once more.
