i think shyra/lemon bread and mettaton would have a really hard time rebuilding their friendship for a while mostly because of shyras (deserved) wariness against everyone and also the resentment of "youre alphys's greatest creation and i was shut inside a basement" . i dont think she would ever forgive alphys but due to their past maybe mettaton would open up about being the same ghost her sister was friends with and maybe after months of sharing each others company in silence they could hum together. i dunno . i think their friendship is very quiet but very strong
