Postcards can now have different badges on them that indicate different things. I tried to make it as straight forward as possible, but I'll explain. Planetary Postcards at least start with the dominant race of the system, if there even is one. So if you see a Korvax symbol, you'll know you will find Korvax lifeforms there --at least evidence of them. The next two badge are focused just on a system's positive extremes. For example, the 3 Star Unit badge indicates that the system has the best possible economy; 3 stars. The next is the Peace badge which indicates that the system is at the safest possible level of conflict.

The next badge is the Quartzite badge. The Qu indicates that the planet is in a purple system and will require purple systems unlocked to visit. So beat "In Stellar Multitudes" if you have not already.

As always, planetary postcards have no hazardous storms.

I don’t know who I’ll reach here on tumblr about this, but I have noticed a split in the NMS on Facebook and Reddit, but I am not even sure these people really know about each other.

For me this topic is weird because before I really turned this blog into a NMS blog, this was a Blender blog. This post is about Blender in NMS. There are people who have legitimate issues with people who use it, mainly modded/Blender corvettes crashing peoples’ games in multiplayer.

So that’s fair but, I don’t think it’s something that should be removed from the game. Blender allows so much in this game and much of it is seriously not malicious. Here is a post that stands in stark contrast to the previous picture.

This is a build that used Blender. It also got good traction on the subreddit. So as per “This is about Blender Corvette builds.

I just want some fucking cohesion from this baby community. It’s my opinion that’s why other games have fandoms that take off and NMS hasn’t. Ours is just a puddle deep echo chamber.

What do you guys think? Should NMS start unprecedentedly ban people from the multiplayer?

I don’t normally like to stir the pot; but The Last of Us fandom is the most disgusting fanbase I have ever seen, and I’ve been apart of some toxic fandom.

The entire discourse of TLoU is just about how they find Bella Ramsey unattractive.

“She doesn’t look like Ellie,” okay then why are there so many memes and comments, just insulting them and calling them ugly. You use the fact that Ellie’s in game model and Bella look different as a guise so you can insult and attack them.

You’re disgusting. You do your fanbase a disservice and I think you deserve to cry, writhe, and seethe about it, but no reprieve.

I’m not even a fan of the games and shows, but you guys deserve to rot in your misery. If you use someone’s appearance to justify your outrage, you’re just a bad person.
