There are character limits for different types of content, just to prevent me getting overwhelmed and spending lots of time on a single request. One ask counts as one request, so, you can send multiple requests, but per request the character limit applies. Character limit for reader inserts and scenarios is 3. Character limit for headcanon sets is 5. Character limit for reactions is 10. You are more than welcome to send multiple requests, but the limit applies per each request. If you want, say, headcanon sets for eight characters, please send them in two separate asks. (Such as, “relationship headcanons for Nimh, Volks, Kelby, and Eli” as one ask, and “relationship headcanons for Anon, Garret, Dmitri, and Ichiban” as another ask. I hope this makes sense!)

Be patient with me, please!! Even with me being excited to write, it takes time, and I do work part-time, not to mention I run other blogs. I also often put things into the queue immediately after they finish so that my content can stay fairly consistent when I’m active. In addition, I do not work on ‘first in, first out’, instead going wherever my inspiration for certain characters/concepts lies at any point, so I do requests rather out of order most of the time. It may be a while before you see yours finished, but I do guarantee you that asking me a lot whether it’s done/if I’m working on it will not speed things up! Sorry in advance.

If you request Eli, please specify which pronouns you would like me to use when writing! It's canon as of Hush Hush that Eli goes by any pronouns, including 'she/her' and 'they/them'. If you don’t specify pronouns (or make it clear by using them in your ask), I will probably default to 'he' seeing as that's what he uses for pretty much all of Blush Blush.

I do art, audios, and video edits in addition to writing! Video edits are usually done without request because I pick the songs based on my own tastes, but I do often ask opinions on which one my followers want to see. And you can always request art and audios!

If I am not comfortable writing a certain request/topic/etc., I will answer the ask VERY QUICKLY so that whoever requested it isn’t waiting for something I don’t think I can write. This is for my own sanity to avoid adding something “to answer later” to my drafts and forget, and for yours so you know up front if your request won’t be filled. If I do not answer the ask quickly, then it is in my drafts waiting to be filled!

Kitsune boys with an Witch S/O pls?

plssssss I love them all

They’re… a real witch?? Wait, no, a real-life witch? With potions and spells and stuff like that? If he’s got any of his kitsune attributes visible, his tail will immediately start wagging excitedly upon first finding out. To be perfectly honest, Aki is someone who’s… easily enthused by new concepts. It comes with being, as Haru says, a ‘pup’. (He’s not, but he is wide-eyed and curious.) He does unfortunately have some misconceptions; on the whole, they’re harmless, though he’ll definitely need to be corrected. No, his S/O doesn’t have some cauldron they stir while cackling and cursing their enemies. They can do curses, if they want. No guarantees that any of their spells will work, and, well, there’s the spiritual aspect to it more than just casting spells. The good thing is that while Aki might be a little annoying about asking them to “please use your magic to help me play a prank on Haru!!! It’ll be SO funny and worth it, I promise!”, he’s super accepting. He isn’t too troublesome; he plays tricks, teases, cajoles… never pushes too hard, and never misses a chance to remind them that he thinks (Name) is so incredible, unique, and interesting.

And…? Is that fact supposed to impress him at all? Hah. He’s seen all manner of spiritualities come and go. The fact that this is his darling does not mean their being a witch is some kind of novelty to him. In truth, he’s been alive so long, he just views this as a fact of their existence. Unlike Aki who finds fascination in such a thing because he’s never encountered it up close or Haru who is interested by virtue of it being a part of his lover, Fuyu, well… Fuyu simply sees his S/O’s witchcraft as a thing that is. He doesn’t disparage them for it, but he also doesn’t see the point in being overly entranced by it. Perhaps that makes him cold in some people’s eyes. It’s not something he sees an issue with. Even though he appreciates all facets of (Name), their personality, their passions and hobbies and beliefs… he doesn’t understand the reason in treating their being a witch as some ‘cool’ thing about them. Or, rather, it’s not what makes them worth loving. He’ll gladly watch them brew elixirs or prepare spells and he’ll accept, without fuss, that there are things they do that seem strange to others. He also won’t object to carrying around an omamori they’ve gifted him; what better to protect him than a sakura blossom carved out of rose quartz by someone who loves him, after all?

Now! Isn’t that something else? Certainly he’s never been with someone who’s into such things before. They should tell him more about it… while he rests his head on their chest to listen to their heartbeat, of course. He’s nothing if not someone who looks for every excuse to be close to his lover. That said, it isn’t just an excuse; he really is interested in the things that make up his S/O’s life and personality. Whatever they believe and are interested in, he’ll ask questions about and do his own research into as soon as he figures out how to work a smartphone. The thing is, he prefers to hear about and witness those things directly from his partner. It’s much more personal, it adds to intimacy… and, really, he likes hearing (Name) speak. It’s one more way to spend time together. Not to mention, by getting that hands-on experience, there’s no possibility of misinformation about the way they practice. He’s always eager to help, as well. Do they need specific herbs? Suddenly he’ll stroll in with several of them in hand, setting them on his S/O’s desk. Need to be awake at midnight to do a spell at that particular time? He’ll find a way to keep them up. This is just one more part of them, and he adores every single part.

Honestly, dating him is about what you’d expect, with a few little surprises sprinkled in for fun. Gotta keep things fresh, can’t have you getting super bored of him. He’s the kind of guy who likes to hang out in graveyards and he’s a bit morbid… but at the same time, he’s definitely down-to-Earth. Compared to some of the other guys, he’s almost normal.

Writes poetry about you sometimes? While he doesn’t advertise it, he’s a romantic at heart. He likes doing those sappy things, comparing the touch of your hand in his hair to the cool breeze of a mausoleum, and your kiss is like the first breath that the dead take upon resurrection… perhaps he keeps writing these things because you’re the first person to truly appreciate his dark, flowery language.

He texts you a lot, especially if you have a job or studies that keep you away. He’s got more free time, being a student (one who can admit to slacking off somewhat in areas which don’t interest him), so he can get slightly bored and when he’s bored, his mind wanders to you. To see Hey. Hanging out in the library. And I’m thinking of you. I might check out this book… wanna come summon demons with me later? ;) with a picture of him smirking behind some ancient-looking tome makes you very happy. Maybe you’ll even consider it! Would be a hell of a way to spend a Saturday night, huh?

‘Melancholy flower’/’melon cauliflower’ for a vegan emo isn’t the only pun he has up his sleeve. He’s also got other small references too, and puns aren’t his preferred method of one-lining. If it’ll get you to smile, however, he’ll use them. Particularly if he feels awkward and doesn’t think he has much else to say, he’ll pun. A well-timed quip of, “Well, look at that. Good for them; they’ve got one foot in the rave.” in response to a couple of elderly partygoers decked out in glow sticks will have you giggling, at least. Or he hopes it will. He almost wishes you’d never stop laughing, it’s the best sound he’s ever heard.

In addition to just texting you a bunch, he also loves to send you naughty pictures. Nothing too bad that anyone else would be appalled to seeing on your phone… just tiny things to tease you. Photos of him wearing a new pair of skeleton underwear accompanied by a caption of, What do you think? Too many bones? 😉 Or maybe a pic of his hand resting on his bare thigh, with the excuse that he wants to know what you think of the nail polish he just put on. All’s fair, isn’t it? He definitely wants you thinking about him.

For all that he pretends to be a dark and troubled bad boy, his ideal date night is… getting some takeout, watching a horror flick, and falling asleep on the couch cuddled up in your arms. (Or with you cuddled in his. He’s not picky about that part, as long as there’s cuddling going on!) Often when that happens, he’ll wake up in the middle of the night, gaze fondly at you for a few minutes, and then drift off with a hint of a smile on his face. It’s so disgustingly domestic and he hates how much he loves it.

A relationship?? What’s… what’s that??? He’s clueless. And he’s not clueless by virtue of not being intelligent, because he’s very smart. He just… has struggled in connecting with people, for a very long time. Before you, he never really had romance with anyone. His mind was laser-focused on his job, so it was as if he never had time for anything else. Just… be patient with him. He loves you, but he’s very much still learning how to exist inside a romantic relationship.

That said, he’s surprisingly good at knowing how to be a partner. That might be mostly because he’s aware and observant, to the point that he just… notices things about you. He knows what your preferred morning drink is, and he knows what it looks like when you’re tired or in pain, and his heart has begun to beat to match the cadence of your speech. And if there’s something he doesn’t know, he has no shame in asking. (Well… usually.) He brings you a drink or painkillers if you need, encourages you to rest when it seems you’ve been overworking, and he knows how to make you laugh. He very much takes pride in being the best partner for you that he can be.

Uh. Well. It’s. It’s just. He’s an assassin! He’s a serial killer who takes commissions! His lifestyle, while entirely badass as far as he’s concerned, is also dangerous. He’s excellent at what he does, but the fact is that sometimes he has a bad day or his target has a good day. To say nothing of rivalries or competition between assassins, particularly during ‘open’ hits that directly pit them against each other. He will come home injured, it’s just a matter of when it happens. Hopefully you’re not too attached to your carpets, because he’ll stagger in dripping blood all over them, begging you to let him take care of himself. Of course, that’s impossible, so there will definitely be times you’ll have to patch him up in the bathroom. He can’t go to the hospital, right? He… he trusts you to take care of him.

He has quite the singing voice, even if he vehemently denies that he likes to sing. Often he’ll start by humming while the two of you are relaxing and snuggling, and if you insist on watching a musical during movie night, he’ll usually start to sing along in a low voice. For whatever reason he’s embarrassed by it! Although the urge to sing ‘rose’ when he got transformed into a dragon, that is absolutely not to say it wasn’t there before. Singing relaxes him, and it might just be because he’s unpracticed in being vulnerable around people that singing in front of others, even you, flusters him a bit. Though… he likes it if you fall asleep to his singing. That’s flattering.

He can get… possessive. Nowhere near Cole levels of possessive or anything, but his one sore spot is that he is petrified of the idea that he might not be ‘cool’ in your eyes. He’s convinced that you’ll wake up one day, look at him, and go, “Oh, my GOD, you’re so boring.” before walking out of his life forever. And he can’t take that. He will do literally anything in the name of keeping you interested in him. Actually, up to and including admitting that he’s afraid you think he’s boring and that you’re going to leave him. However, it’s a win-win; you get the emotional openness and some meaningful intimacy out of him, and he gets the reassurance that you’re super fascinated with him and you’re not going anywhere. Honesty is SEXY!!!

Is it getting hot in here, or is just because he’s dragging the essence of hell behind him? Who knows at this point? It’s really his game and you’re just along for the ride. Maybe that’s how you like it. If that wasn’t how you like it, you probably wouldn’t be with him. He likes to do dangerous things, so you’ll have to be careful exactly which ones you do with him. He forgets sometimes that humans can’t take the kinds of abuse that demons can! So if he mentions a ‘vacation’ to his ‘hometown’ by ‘a beautiful lake’, guide him toward something else. That beautiful lake is made of fire, down in hell, and to you it’d be less a vacation and more like a nightmare. Oops! He tried.

Shockingly okay with the whole arrangement he has going with you. It’s a shame he can’t manipulate you, because you sort of see through all his tricks and no-sell any of the bad ideas, but he’s not too broken up. He’s convinced he’ll eventually find something you’ll fall for, so now he’s just biding his time. Except… during that time, he finds himself actually falling for you. That comes with not wanting to hurt you or betray your trust, which means that slowly he loses the urge to manipulate you at all. He goes from wanting your soul to just wanting your heart. Awwwww~!

You wanna wear his hoodie? He’ll let you wear his hoodie. Hell, if his clothes fit you, he’ll let you wear all of them. Not only is he totally fine walking around wearing very little or nothing at all, demons are possessive creatures by nature. It hits that button to see you covered in things that are his, which makes him a very happy little shit-stirrer. You’re so hot wearing all his clothes, (or, indeed, wearing replicas of them if his happen not to fit you), he might just decide to pin you down and kiss every inch of you.

Yes, he’s a demon. And a troublemaker. However, he’s also the Avatar of Woe. Being that he is that, he… has this strange kind of depression. His boredom and anguish and occasional apathy drive him to seek thrills, usually. Other times, though, the woe part overtakes him entirely. If he’s allowed himself to be vulnerable with you, there are times you’ll find him in bed, sobbing uncharacteristically, bunched up in the blankets and completely lost in sorrow. How you react will determine whether or not he lets you see that side of him ever again. As much of a front as he puts up, when the woe hits, all he really wants is to be held and comforted and know you’re there for him.

He’s kind of always touching you in some way, almost as if to stake his claim on you. If the two of you are out walking, he’s holding your hand. If you’re sitting around, he’s got an arm around your waist. He likes to have his hands on you, he likes to be touching and kissing and cuddling. In some ways he forgot what it was like to have a real romance with somebody, and apparently, he’s missed all those small, normal, soft touches. He’s making up for lost time and massive amounts of touch starvation, sue him!

since I don't have any requests right now and the blog is new... let me amuse myself with some of my faves and one of my most loved concepts! <3

COLE

Well, now… isn’t he the lucky one today? Sure, he can’t breathe through his nose, he’s so tired he’s practically confined to bed, and he’s coughing like a smoker. Yeah, okay, all that is true. But being sick means that you will cancel other plans (say, with the other boys) to take care of him. You’re just that devoted to him, a bit of a sniffle keeps you by his side all day. That’s what he tells himself, at least. Your concerned expression and gentle kisses on his forehead are all he could ever need. He doesn’t know how to respond to such kindness and fussing, almost… except to melt into it, nestling himself in against any cuddles you offer. While he makes a comment along the lines of, “Don’t worry, my dear. I’ll be better in no time with your care.”, he secretly (and maybe not so secretly as well) wishes he’d be sick forever. He just… wants you all to himself. Is that so wrong? Watch out, because after this, he might actually seek out situations to get himself sick just so you can take care of him, and his fragile immune system will just let it happen. He could end up seriously ill if he isn’t careful.

FABIAN

Darling… he needs to be taken care of! Look at him, do you really think he’s capable of looking after himself in such a state? How he got this sick, he’ll never know. Maybe it’s a blessing in disguise, allowing the two of you some extra time together. Surely that’s not a bad thing, even if he spends it being a mess. Whenever he complains about looking a mess, you always tell him that he’s a very pretty mess, so as long as he’s still pretty to you, that’s all he gives a damn about. And keeping your attention on him, of course. Although he’s self-conscious about some things (in particular he hates that his gills also function like a nose), he’s a fairly good patient provided you aren’t distracted by anything else. He happily leans into your fussing, and will probably take any medicine you shove at him. Can he sleep snuggled up against you? He’s going to sleep snuggled up against you. Like Cole, you’ll have to watch that he doesn’t deliberately get himself sick just so you can take care of him. That is unfortunately peak Fabian behavior, and if he thinks it will result in more attention from you, he’ll do it.

NIMH

Wowzers, this is… it’s… it’s, ughhhh. The way this poor man feels about being sick is the closest he will ever get to hating something. Even then, he just can’t bring himself to use that word. It’s bad, and he’s miserable, but he’s faced worse in his life, hey? A little cold isn’t going to take him out, especially with his darling taking good care of him. Particularly given his history of issues with his heart and because he’s a physician assistant, he’s actually pretty good at gently instructing you on the kinds of medicines he can have. Because of his heart, traditional decongestants are off the table, as are most anti-inflammatory drugs like aspirin or ibuprofen. He gives you a little list for the store and trusts you, so that’s a plus! The biggest thing to help him is a nasal spray, so… you’ll, um… you’ll help him with that, right? All he really expects is for you to be there ready with some tissues, because using that spray makes him sneeze like crazy! There are a couple brands of low- or no-sodium soups he can have, and decaf tea, so if you bring him that, he’s so emotional from the fever he might just cry. Hugs will happen. He’s a terrific patient who doesn’t fight you, spends most of his time sleeping on your chest, and is sure to thoroughly show his gratitude once he feels better.

POE

Aaaah… the latest in a long line of misfortunes for him, isn’t it? Woe is him, Poe is him… ah, you know the rest. Basically. It’s certainly not the worst thing to happen to him, and at the very least, he has the sort of healthy mindset that being sick is merely a part of life. It’s just the kind of thing that happens, regardless of who you are or how well you try to take care of yourself. So, he’s pretty relaxed about being fussed over. He’ll gingerly put a stop to it if you start to go overboard, (no, babe, he does not need help blowing his nose, thanks), but mostly he takes it in stride. It beats taking care of himself or trying to get through a ‘normal’ day when he feels like shit, after all. The only thing he can gripe about is that his red cheeks and nose clash with his eyeliner. Though… he might forego it and let you see him without makeup. Talk about love! Huh. Would enough cold medicine knock him out?? Perhaps he can sleep through the worst of it. He’s glad you’re here, though. It means he gets your hand running through his hair, and kisses on the cheek, and your affectionate voice murmuring, “Aw, you poor thing.” He… didn’t know he needed something like that. He’ll write a poem about the experience once he’s lucid enough not to break his mind trying to find a rhyme for ‘thermometer’.

Stop… stop… stop mother-henning him!!! He’s not used to it! You don’t need to do it! He’s fine…! And. Well. Mid-rant, he starts to cough so hard and for so long his face turns bright red, leaving him gasping for air. So much for denying that he’s sick in the first place, because that’s definitely what he did. He tries so hard to pretend like he’s fine, particularly because he’s got a big insecurity about feeling as if he can’t take care of himself. He’s spent so long doing fine by himself, he’s independent, and letting someone else take care of him makes him feel as if he can’t take care of himself. That’s not exactly true, but his feelings are his feelings. Thankfully, as tsundere as he acts, in reality he craves someone to take care of him. He’s strong all the time, and as soon as you give him ‘permission’ to be weak, it’s like he just falls apart from all the pressure he’s put on himself. Once he knows he’s in good hands, he lets himself nuzzle against you for support, whimpering and asking if you’ll still take care of him. So, of course, you happily oblige. You make sure to strip him down to just a T-shirt and shorts so he doesn’t overheat… hold a cup to his lips so he can swallow medicine and soup… rub his back and press soft kisses to his forehead. He’s very lazy while sick, which makes it easy for you to take care of him. As soon as he realizes he can just be sick, he leaves it all to you. He doesn’t fight after that. It’s almost disappointing when he starts to feel better… how is he supposed to ask for those kinds of things again, without an ‘excuse’ and just because he wants you to coddle him for a bit…?

SETH

Hell’s bells, is this seriously what mortals go through every… year? How many years do humans live, again? And how many times do they have to deal with being sick over the course of that short life? … Wait, how many?! Fire and brimstone. He’s never been gladder that he isn’t mortal. Because he isn’t mortal, however, he doesn’t get ill very often. Which is a good thing, but it also means he just generally doesn’t know how to be sick. He’s terrible at just being a sick person. He’s a little over 900 years old, and he’s had a cold or flu maybe ten times total during his life. And he forgets every single time what it’s like… and, damn, it sucks. Although he tries incredibly hard not to whine, because demons don’t whine, it’s pretty clear he feels terrible. He actually growls if you try to extract him from his hoodie, and the violent shudders he gives when you try to wipe him with cold water to lower his fever are a pitiable sight. The big problem is that he doesn’t know how to properly care for himself while he’s sick, so it’s up to you. He’s grateful… and yet, he feels pathetic for needing your help. It’s as if he thinks he’s some crappy excuse for a demon just for the fact that he managed to catch a cold and struggles to take care of himself while he doesn’t feel well. That you don’t judge, you just buckle down and do what you know will make him feel better? That… helps his ego. He’ll reward you nicely for taking such good care of him the second he’s recovered.
