Hello! I'm Mod Blushy, or just Mod. I share updates for Blushcrunch Studio, for convenience or other people who don't/can't use the discord. I screenshot and share things Qwel has posted on the official BC discord! And others if I can remember. For anonymity, I go by any pronouns. Get creative!

I upload any and all news regarding Blushcrunch games! (Currently mainly Dandy's World related, as that is BC's current focus.)

I can find information for you, if you send an ask here or on the ama box! (Ama box is for shadowbanned users mainly)

June devlog! Pt 1 (pt in coming reblog)

Rundown under cut.

Dandy's buds

A system that allows new players to get to know the basics of Dandy's world, while allowing more experienced players to help out with that.

New character select screen (Poppy and boxten even get cute animationd when you pick one!

Dandy will now greet new players by offering them a small tutorial for his shop and a couple tutorial tasks to complete. New players get the "Dandy's bud" title automatically equipped to show they are new.

Dandy will upgrade your title a couple times as you complete this, before he gives you a final title once you gain 1k ichor, which allows you to change out your title.

This is in hopes that seasoned players will help out new players [Mod note: instead of being dicks to them and assuming they already know all of the fanmade rules for runs. I'm looking at you guys.]

New players helped are added to your stats sheet, and are counted towards some medals!

We will receive:

Twisted finn changes

Rework to his trinket

Finn-themed prizes

A lore video for finn

A brand new machine type!

And more + [Mod note: She did not specify what is more.]

Fishing rod now highlights all machines for the user on the start of a floor for five seconds!

Instead of slowing people on a floor when they complete a machine, Twisted finn now spawns three large ichor puddles, one of which will contain twisted barnaby.

Stepping in the barnaby puddle will cause barnaby to jump and latch onto the player, which will alert finn to their location the whole time barnaby is attached. Barnaby will go towards a Barnaby-holding player no matter what he is previously doing (chasing a player, checking an alerted machine, etc). Barnaby holds the highest priority.

Barnaby can be removed by other players.

Barnaby timer:

Solo - 10 secs

2-4 players - 15 secs

5 + players - 20 secs

Twisted Finn now likes to play in ichor puddles!

Twisted finn also likes to play with the new machine type! A swimmy barnaby minigame! The difficulty is effected by your skillcheck level, and collecting coins is equivalent to getting a great skillcheck. Hitting an obstacle fails the machine, in which you will have to start extracting again.

I feel like he's gonna get a regal coat, and something fun with Barnaby. Barnaby is probably gonna get a little crown. I'm decently confident that BC is smart enough to not make Piss Finn skin a reality.

Upon launch we get Piss Finn, but it is quickly changed before there is severe outcry. People will get to joke about Piss Finn, but we also get a genuinely good skin for the event.

I had a fun idea for Finn's golden skin where his head is a golden goblet and the liquid in his head could be bright red so it looks like a goblet with wine, to avoid the piss problem ;3c LOL

I can imagine it, that would be pretty cute! But there's the issue of what Barnaby will do. Also, Alchohol in a kids game *most likely* won't fly. And it'll look like blood (Which... is Blood Finn better than Piss Finn?)

The event pop up says it ends June 10th but the in-game collab says it ends in thirty days

I'm assuming the ingame one is the accurate one. The other collab lasted longer than a few days. No official dev statement found.
