“You’re asking me? You grew up with him, you should know how to handle Sora better than anyone.. Aside from maybe Kairi. Why not get her?”

“I grew up, Roxas. I’m more handsome than before, stunning, really. Breathtaking like the ocean at sunset.” He’s being dramatic, but still.
He wanted to fight though. So even if those other ideas sounded nice, he was a little disappointed. “Sure, I guess. I don’t think you’ve been to Olympus yet, right?”
“Olympus.. Can’t say I have. I can remember parts of it, but I think that’s just remnants of our time spent together in your heart. There’s a lot of places I have a foggy memory of, but it’s from your memories, not my own.” So, he wanted to make new memories, for himself.
“You have grown up a lot, I won’t deny that.”
He just wants ice cream..

“It’s not just about hurting someone. It’s a bonding experience. I used to do it with Riku all the time, until he started chickening out. Maybe I got too strong? Maybe he was distracted by my rugged looks.”
“Good looks, huh? I’m sure that’s it,” he teased with a chuckle. “But I’m a little tired of always fighting, Sora. Even if it’s not serious.. There are other ways to bond, too. How about we go world-hopping, and try to find some really good ice cream, or something to eat? I haven’t explored much since before we were reconnected, you could show me everything you know from other worlds?”

“Of course it’s fair. As far as I’m concerned, we’re equals, so there’s no reason to be so worried about it.”
“I know we are, which means there’s no point in us fighting, only to hurt each other. I’m not worried, I just know there’s no point to it.”
islandier:
“We’d be hurting each other, though, so it’d pretty fair?”
“I didn’t say anything about it being fair. I just said I didn’t want to hurt you.. So, I won’t duel with you.”
islandier:
“I’m way strong, though! I’ve had to beat so many people!”
“I know that, but so am I. Which means I could still hurt you.”
islandier:
“What? How come?”
“Because I don’t want to hurt you.”
He’s amused watching Sora harass others.

➳ Hayner couldn’t help but chuckle, offering his hand to the other so he could pull them out of the leaves. There were a few leaves still caught in Roxas’ hair but they were sure they’d come out eventually.
“Honestly, who knows. After all ice cream is always better with friends.”
“I’m not sure if it was the ice cream he really wanted or not. I think he was acting out because he was lonely, or something..” After all, Roxas couldn’t imagine how it must have felt, now that they had all been separated. Maybe Sora felt distant from him, and was doing it for attention..
“But I can’t disagree with that. Seasalt ice cream ahoy?”

“Heh, sure,” Roxas grunted as he sat up, dusting the leaves out of his hair before trying to stand up. “I don’t know what Sora was thinking.”
