currently writing a longform anthropological article about “Old Roblox” re: how crazy it used to be as almost a sort of Second Life for autistic kids. been going through a shit ton of old personal messages and pictures from the forums, been a wild (and surprisingly touching) ride. found a memorial to the subsection of the (long since deleted) forums that me and my brother both posted in for years

not only did we both make it in, but i found out the guy who made it is a good friend of mine and put us there cuz he was one of the few people who knew we were brothers irl.

was kind of floored when i thought about the fact that this little piece of history from what is now one of the largest digital platforms of all time still exists over a decade later :,,) hope to publish before moving cross country in june

bro not gonna lie. week 1 of pseudo-unemployment... i feel like i just woke up from a horrible 3 year long dream.

did some computer work, opened up my sketchbook for the first time in 6 months, picked up bf from work, cooked dinner for us, and now im sitting here with the cat sprawled out on my blanket.

i grinded non-stop for 3 years, got almost nowhere with it except constant body pain and exhaustion, and now that i let it go i wonder why it took me so damn long in the first place.
