Upcoming 16mm Film Project

After seeing Trevor Paglens work about classified NRO / CIA patches a few quick google searches turned up patches from police branches. The campy and morbid imagery is really something (especially for the DC one), reminds me of the type of imagery from a county fair or tattoo flash. The patch on the bottom right is for a launch of an NRO satellite, the latin translating to "better the devil you know".

Not sure where I am going with this as a project yet, (if there is even one here) but these are really strange and disturbing to me.

Here's a short thing I made during and after Hurricane Sandy came through the tri-state area, walking around my neighborhood. It is mostly glimpses during and immediately after the storm, ending with the changing weather and light in the days that followed. Again, headphones are good for watching this.
