āā If there was one group in Crown that Mars felt the most fondness for (aside from Sugar), it was Olympus. It probably had something to do with the fact that he had been there from their conception to their debut and had witnessed plenty of their ups and downs. Which was probably why he was so quick to throw his arm over Minjaeās shoulder when he noticed the younger walking in the hall. Knowing Min, he was probably well on his way to going onto the roof to perform some witchy ritual.Ā āCast any spells lately, kid? Because I might need your help in casting one to get this crazy girl from calling me.ā Of course, he was all jokes, but even still, he loved to mess with the boy of haughty nature.Ā
for @misseoh ā from here!Ā
āā Keeping his hands buried in the pockets of his jacket, the male leaned his head back and closed his eyes while the woman beside him spoke. While working with Venus as a whole was new to him, heād worked with plenty of idols before. However, something that he was new to was the fact that someone would practically name drop their length of time in the industry. And maybe it was just odd to him, but it took Mars off guard, especially when heād never given her a reason to think he was unaware of her length of time. Granted, it wasnāt because he was well versed on her, but because heād googled information on her before this session. Removing his hands from his pockets, he hadnāt even realized sheād gotten up until he heard her comment about him just sitting there. Standing and adjusting the beanie on his head, he followed the female out the door.
āDo you usually make a point to tell people how long youāve been in the industry? No offense or anything, but maybe you should save that for people who actually doubt you. Not people that are trying to help,ā his tone was steady and calm as usual while he looked down at the woman and shrugged.Ā āJust a friendly suggestion.ā

āā Even during his major (and unexplained) absence, Mars had made a point to keep working on music. Not simply his, but those for other artists under the label. While his work base extended outside the company, thatās what he had been focused on for the past few months. And top priority had been finishing the rest of this song for Peridot who were having their debut at the end of the month. Sure, it was pushing it with nothing more than a few days left in August. Itās not like he was fond of working on things at the last minute, but he had succeeded in finishing what was left for him to work on in regards to the song. Which, he could consider a feat and cause for a celebration (even if was a minor one). And that was what led him to sitting in the middle of a restaurant with a plate of wings and bottle of beer in front of him. His companion for the evening being none other than Alvin, a face and person that Mars had long since become acquainted with over time.
āSo, you working on anything new to wow the masses or are you kinda just coasting for now until that inspiration hits?ā The male inquired of his company as he reached for his beer once more.

āā Three weeks back to Seoul and leave it to Mars for this to be his first time actually entering the Crown building in that time. Sure, heād spoken with and caught up with some people, but he hadnāt really made his way back toĀ āworkā, so to speak. Yet, here he was making his way off the elevator and onto the floor where majority of the recording studios resided. His arms were full of mail, letters, requests and several sticky notes indicating missed calls. Seemed as though he was wanted to feature on three tracks and produce or write seven others. Even when he was away, the demand didnāt seem to let up. Using the pinky of his hand that was holding onto his bottle of iced tea to scratch at his eyebrow, Mars almost missed a familiar face as it passed him in the hall.
āRobyn?ā
She was familiar to him for sure, but she wasnāt familiar to see behind the crown walls. How much had he missed while he was away?Ā āSince when do you go around roaming the halls?ā

Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Funny thing was Natasha never thought herself a kids person but it felt comfortable to be around them anyway. She sympathised with them; knew what it was like notĀ having the opportunities or resources to help them along in their passions. She knew it could be hard on the parents who could not afford fancy schools or expensive lessons with expensive instructors. This was the most she could do and she loved that it made them happy and was available for them. The dancer, now temporary instructor, was used to people coming in to watch. Parents often would come by to see how legitimate the lessons were, often stood till the end to ask about payment or policies. Usually they had their children with them but her current guest had none. However one of the girls was losing steam and Natasha had to act fast to keep her on track until the end of their routine.
Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā When the lesson ended Natasha said her farewells with the kids and their parents, reminding them of their next scheduled date and to have good days. Mannered wasnĆĀ¢€™t synonymous to Natasha but when it came to her students it was like a flip was switched. The last person sheĆĀ¢€™d expect to see here was Mars. In fact, since he disappeared she had grown accustomed to his absence, sure heĆĀ¢€™d show up eventually. Here, at her little studio, was not where she thought heĆĀ¢€™d do that. A light scoff fills the space between them even as she grins.Ā ĆĀ¢€œIs my studio haunted? Am I seeing a ghost?ĆĀ¢€Ā
A deep laugh left the male as he rubbed at the side of his neck. He couldn't blame her for that one, hell, he would have said the same thing. Plenty of people had at this point anyway. Looking around the now empty room, the male raised an eyebrow, before leaning himself down (quite a feat considering the height difference between them) and rested his chin on her shoulder. "It might be a ghost, sure. But, Ā do this ghost a favour and let's dip out of here, because I need some food. And you need to catch me up on your life. Shit happens is two months, gotta tell me about any new changes."
Standing up fully, Mars shot her a smile before reaching over to poke her forehead with his index finger. "C'mon, you're done for the day, right? Food and drinks on me." In all honesty, he had missed her company, she was one of those few in his life that didn't drain or bother him. So, for him to want to so adamantly spend time in her company meant something, at least to him it did.

āā It had been a while since Mars had seen Natasha, granted-- He had gone off on his own 2 month binder and had been MIA, but that was all his fault. So, perhaps thatās why it was no surprise to him that heād known exactly where to find the brunette when he finally made a point to seek her out. Heād been back in Seoul going on a week and a half now, so he figured it was about time to pay her a visit. And knowing her habit of volunteering with kids, he knew she was probably at the studio. And, to little surprise, was where he found her. Surrounded by children and looking like she was every bit at home as she always did. It still amazed him that people could dance so well (and effortlessly), but that was probably because heād never been the most coordinated. Thatās what he got for being over 6ft and all arms and legs.
Leaning against the back wall of the studio, he watched her and the kids silently, unsure (and uncaring) of whether or not sheād noticed him. Though, when the session finally came to an end and the children filed out to meet with their parents, Mars was still standing there, his arms folding over his chest.Ā āHey, stranger--ā Funny heād be using that line, when she probably had more of a right to use it towards him he did her.
ohskvy ā is at war with a god (and her best friend) !! Ā
āā There was plenty that could happen in the span of two months. Mars should know, heād been living the horror of that for the past 60+ days. Plenty could happen, yes. But, what point was there in dealing with the what ifs when there was plenty of horrors that had happened. If he wanted to ever write a book on his life, this would take up at least a good 5 chapters. Where could he even start with it all? Even he wasnāt sure, nor did he want to think on that. Not right now. He had no intention of explaining himself completely to anyone anyway. Sure, Olivia had deserved an explanation of some kind, but there was no way in hell she was getting the full story. It wasnāt necessarily lying, no. He simply believed in keeping truths that didnāt need to be known to himself. Besides, honestly and truly there was only one person he had intention of telling everything to. Someone he needed to tell it all to.
The fact that he had found out quickly of Daeunās presence in Japan wasnāt surprising in the least. While he had a habit of laying low and blending with the shadows, her tactics for certain things were different. Not to mention, the people got to talking and they started to wonder. What could the two of them possibly be doing apart from each other. People talked and in theirĀ āprofessionā of choice, it was known that where you found one you found the other. Questions arose that he didnāt want to answer and so, instead of sticking around to meet with the girl heād known for so long, Mars once again took flight. From Seoul to Tokyo to where next?Ā
Miami to Los Angeles to New York to Chicago. Chicago.
He hadnāt been back there since that fateful day when his younger twin brother lost his life and he hadnāt had intention of going back. But, he needed to visit his brotherās grave. It was nothing more than an unmarked plot in the local cemetery of where theyād once lived, but thatās where Ares was laid to rest. But what a foo heād been, because when those that killed his brother found out he was back, it didnāt take them long to find him.Ā They wanted nothing more than to toy with him. There was only one person saw himself wanting to call out for when he felt himself blacking out for the umpteenth time in those few months, but he couldnāt do that. Not even when he felt like he was damn near on the brink of death. What exactly was he going to say in the first place? It wasnāt as though heād had his phone on anyway. It wasnāt as though his death would have a change on things. But oh, how little credit he was giving to Daeunās heart with thoughts like that.
Even when heād (somehow) found his way back home to Seoul (something that he still is unsure of how it happened), he couldnāt bring himself to go to her. He should have, yes. Especially after he read the note that had been slipped under his front door. The humour of it all, that note had been the thing to bring him out of his last haze. His latest bout of darkness. The words, the familiarity of it all, the way her scent still lingered in his home. It had all brought him back to reality, but even so-- That hadnāt been enough to save him from the pain heād felt reading her letter. If you were to ask him specifically what had transpired between them, at this point he couldnāt tell you. Heād just know that heād lost his best friend. Losing people was a habit for him, though. It had to have been a curse. His parents, his brother, Daeun-- Why wasnāt he used to this by now?
The male shook himself out of his own thoughts and memories as he made his way into a place that was all too familiar with him. Itās where he had spent countless hours beforehand right at Daeunās side. They had a habit of sticking together even during the simplest things, but he also knew this was the one place to look for and find her. And not to his surprise, he spotted her several feet away, her head and hands busying themselves under the hood of a car. It wasnāt one of hers, he knew that much. It was far too flashy for her taste. It looked more like something the male himself would drive. Heād had a reason for being there, though. One that didnāt involve cars or him thinking on the trivial things.
Mars didnāt have very many moments in his life that stunned him to silence and shock. He wasnāt someone that openly dealt with their demons and problems, not in the least. But, there was one time a year where heād struggle and suffer in a silence that even he couldnāt bear to control. He was being selfish, he knew that, but he needed to see her. Even if it was just for a moment. Heād seen her on every anniversary of Aresā death and he couldnāt imagine this being any different. He was going to go, though. Heād made the foolish mistake of thinking he could come in and speak to her. As though heād some how magically have the words and will to say something of importance and remorse to her. But he didnāt. He didnāt have any of that in him. So, instead of going over to her (when they both probably needed each other most), he turned around slowly, thankful that she hadnāt once lifted her head or turned around. One day heād have the will and strength--
āMars Bang!ā Shit.
The male had already turned to leave, but the sound of a a few excited voices calling out to him froze him in his tracks. He knew she had heard it and he knew by now that she had seen him. There was nothing he could do to keep from looking like an ass, so instead-- He just stood there. Afraid to turn around. Afraid to look in her direction. Even though, he knew it was only a matter of moments before he had to.
