⟡ I'm a 21 y/o black genderfluid artist and I post my silly little things here whenever I'm able. I'm a little new here, but I'm enjoying my stay.
⟡ My main hyperfixation at the moment is Twisted Wonderland, and this blog will have both fanart and OC artwork for the fandom (I post other stuff over on TikTok and Bluesky).

It's partially why I've been gone for a while! Got sick back to back and my vehicle needs repairs, so all in all, I've had it pretty tough for a few weeks, but I'm still here! It's just gonna take a minute for me to get back into the swing of things, but I'm gonna try and respond to the rest of the asks in my inbox that have been piling up!
Plus I have a bunch of stuff I did over the small break I had that I'm excited to share mwehehehehe—
It’s been about a year since I’ve joined Tumblr and posted here! I’m happy to say I’ve improved a lot during that time, I redrew a few old sketches and I like how they turned out!
I have a soft spot for Ewe in particular (Can you tell that Ewe’s one of my favorite ocs lol—). He’s one of my first TWST ocs and he’s come a long way from his first concept sketches. I always have fun when drawing him, likely because he looks like me in a way. The main cast of TWST doesn’t really have anyone with curly hair like I do, so I like to make ocs that have textured hair and other features I have :)

I hit 1k+ followers and I wanted to say thank you, first and foremost. I greatly appreciate everyone who followed me and decided to like my art. I'm eternally grateful to everyone who helped me reach this goal, so I decided to make a YCH event as a thank you!!

(Happy New Years!!! Welcome to the madness that I have been gripped by for the last few weeks. Leona and his infinite wigs. As I said many times Leona is genuinely so pretty to me. But man, I can never decide on how i want to draw this man's gorgeous hair. But after trying out a bunch of different styles and throwing some ideas out there I really have come to love number 2. I might stick with that one going forward. But damn Leona looks so good with any textured hair, I've seen so many cool edits with him which really inspired me.)
(In other news, I have been also working on developing a more solid understanding of shading. Some of these are from my last sketch dump that I went back to to test my new skills on. One thing I have really started to internalize how shadows add another level of design complexity to a piece. When done right it can really help composition. I started with the Malleus expressions and Leona's are my most recent tries. I really feel like I've improved a lot!)

I used to really struggle with drawing fanart in particular because I’m a bit of a perfectionist, and really want to make characters look as accurate to their canon designs as possible. Over time, though, I’ve gotten much more lax with it, and Grim is a prime example of this. Though I still like my old sketches of him, I really like how I draw him now.
It’s also funny because he’s the first thing I posted on here when I started this account.
