My first pet spider died a couple weeks ago. I decided that I wanted to do something special to remember her by. RIP Rom.
Found this little guy near my school. I’m pretty sure it’s a bumble flower beetle, Euphoria inda.
My favorite spider I’ve encountered on a walk.

One of the denizens of yesterday’s kanuka trees - a leaf-veined slug. Read more about them on my blog.

Definitely worth watching the video of this little dude marching around and then flying away!
God tier creature
Although I love basically all arthropods now, I still have a bit of an aversion to cellar spiders. I have to admit though, this tiny baby making it’s web on my pillow was kind of adorable.
Giant green pill millipede, Zoosphaerium neptunus, Sphaerotheriida
Found only in Madagascar, this species is the largest pill millipede in the world, sometimes reaching almost 4 inches in length. Although superficially resembling pill bug isopods (aka roly polies), they are not related.
