this is from Michelle bc sheās better at words than I am
This blog is a safe place. Safe to speak your mind, safe to disagree, safe to be wrong, safe to learn. That safety exists because we don't censor here. We don't sanitize. We don't protect you from ideas that might sting.
Everyone gets heard. The brilliant takes and the really garbage ones. The well-reasoned arguments and the lazy insults. The constructive criticism and the pure hate. That's the deal. You want a space where you can say what you actually think? Then you accept that others get that same right.
Will you encounter hate here? Yes. Someone's always mad, always bitter, always looking to tear down what you built. Itās just people being people behind a screen.
But here's what nobody wants to say: if you let an anonymous comment ruin your day, that's on you.
Anons don't know you. They don't pay your bills, share your memories, or stand beside you when life gets real. They're text on a screen. You choose on how you let them affect you.
You have one job: decide what deserves your energy. Not everything does. Most of it doesn't.
This space stays open because we can handle disagreement without falling apart. Because we can read something we hate and simply move on. No meltdown required. No censorship needed.
Your feelings are your responsibility. Own them.
Edit: never did I say hate it ok. Iām saying you will encounter it.
