New Atheism
New Atheists annoy me. They say that the lack of belief in God is not the same as denying the existence of God. That’s what the old atheists do, deny God’s existence. These cats are so much more sophisticated because they just don’t believe. In other words, they don’t believe in God, but they don’t don’t believe in God. That’s really confusing. Perhaps some of my smarter followers can help me clear this up?
What is really confusing is this post. Atheist, new or old, both deny the existence of a God. Why? Because we believe that there is no evidence in his, her, or it's existence. So the lack of EVIDENCE for God leads us to deny (any)God. And I'm sure you're talking about Christianity. If anything, a book that was poorly written well over a thousand years ago, that is full of fallacies and contradictions, that also condones rape, incest, child abuse, murder, and slavery, is in no way enough for me to believe in your God. Is that clear enough for you or should one of your smarter followers need to explain it for you?
Yesterday I did a 385 reverse band bench press. Yeah, my first thought after racking the weight "fuck that's heavy"
Seems legit …….
Am I the only person that thinks that professional bodybuilding (IFBB) sucks…. Between the bullshit supplement advertising , drugs, and most of all unbalance physique, oh and gh gut…..
Did 10 reps of 405 on deadlift last night..... Not bad.
Yoooo Baltimore. Gonna be in your city on Tuesday for Taking Back Sunday!
Where are they playing at?
Ah, that makes sense. I've always heard people are meaner the farther east you go. It just kills me that people are like that tho.
Between the cost of living and the people here, I don't know why anyone would want to live here......
Rest in between sets
For the last couple of months I have really been pushing myself in the gym, but not so much in the kitchen though. I have been strict about my diet but I have had a lot of cheat meals. I've been doing twenty to thirty minutes of light cardio after my workouts, although I have not lost any weight. But I am still losing body fat. I can pinch fat in areas that seems like they are getting smaller and smaller. I have new veins popping out. How? During my workouts I only rest thirty to sixty seconds in between sets. Instead of the usual one to two minutes. This keeps my heart rate up and doesn't give it a chance to get back to it's resting rate. So now my whole workout keeps my heart rate above 120 bpm. The only disadvantage is it affects your strength.
So what you can lift more weight than me, so what you have better abs than me. I'll tell you one thing, you sure as fuck aren't working as hard as me!

Why don’t I take selfies in the gym? Because the gym is made for working out, not taking pictures. If you have enough time to take a picture during your workout and you look just as good before you walked into the gym, you're not working hard enough.

Bodybuilding is not about going to the gym and trying to lift heavier and heavier weight each workout. It’s about forcing a muscle group to contract til absolute failure. This is what makes them grow. If your workout does not consist of drop sets, forced reps, and super sets, you’re not pushing yourself pass the pain period. There are two different types of pain you get from working out that is not an injury. Pain because the weight is so heavy, you can only do a few reps. And there is pain from filling the muscle with so much blood (the pump) that it hurts to contract it. Both are good for building muscle, but if you only do sets with lower reps and only lift for weight, you’re missing out on potential muscle growth. Stop lifting for heavier and heavier weight. Lift for failure.
I had someone tell me that eating a dozen egg whites for breakfast is bad for you. This came from someone who eats donuts for breakfast and drinks coke all day.....

Total time - 60 minutes
The workout doesn’t begin when you first lift the weight, it begins when the muscle starts to feel the burn. If you can’t lift five, ten, or even twenty reps into the burn, you’re not building muscle, you're lifting weight.
