It’s been over 1 year since you’ve been gone and not a day goes by that I don’t think about you or miss you. Love you forever.

Miss you.
God I miss this show
When will it stop feeling like saying goodbye was yesterday?
Take me back to Disneyland
Maybe I should have coded this as HIIT instead of strength training lol. Whoops. Leg day kicked my ass and I’m so sweaty. Good way to start off the day before the craziness of work. I wanted to find the time to go get my eyebrows touched up before the engagement shoot on Sunday but of course, no fucking time. Also wanted to get my nails done professionally, gel so it’ll look pretty for Sunday too but also NO FUCKING TIME. Smh.
Yaaas beat my personal goal
This fucking workout was supposed to be 30 minutes only 😂😂 3rd day in a row 🙌
Missing this nugget terribly.
Miss your cuddles.
You can't even tell that she's sick. It looks like she's just lazy lol
30 day calligraphy challenge has begun. Hopefully this can keep my mind off of things or relax me. Good luck to us tomorrow.
Falling into place
The last few weeks/months have gone by in a blur. We celebrated my birthday in Seattle with a fancy-ish dinner at How to Cook a Wolf. We celebrated 4th of July with a small BBQ at Kyle’s fam’s house in Issaquah and the rest of the night in the closet with the dogs. We celebrated our engagement 4 days later (which I already suspected was coming lol). Tomorrow we celebrate Lauren’s birthday (she doesn’t know we’re doing that yet).
We’re touring a few venues next weekend. Going to the Four Seasons on Saturday and Snoqualmie Ridge on Sunday. Hoping to schedule a tour with Delille that weekend too but their event manager has been out of the office until today. I hope she answers me soon because our friends want to do game night that weekend as well and Kyle is so excited for it.
Nordstrom anniversary sale started last week and I bought some booties (thx for the suggestion, Jess!) Bought 2 pairs of the same shoe in different sizes so I will be returning one of the pairs. They come today!! Words cannot explain my excitement. Also coming today are the ring holders I bought from Amazon. I got a giraffe shaped one and an elephant! They are SOOO cute and I’m too excited to put them in the kitchen and in my bathroom.
On another note, we bought tickets to go watch CELINE DION in October!! OMG I am SO FUCKING EXCITED. My body is ready. And then we go see Britney Spears the following Wednesday. Not as excited for that but it’ll be fun to hang out with Kyle’s friends.
I have a last minute project to complete today too and the cards are coming in today!! I hope they make it before I leave from work. Kyle has to take me to Michael’s/Hobby Lobby later tonight so I can work on it. Hehe so excite.
First Summer Weekend
This weekend was SO damn nice. High 80s on Saturday and 90 on Sunday.
Kyle and I took Saphira and Sammi to Boeing on Saturday to do a free 5k. We walked it with the dogs because it was too hot. Sammi’s pretty funny because she’ll walk really fast in the sun to get to the next shaded area and walk super slow in the shade haha. After the 5k, we dropped the dogs off at home and got lunch at Chick-Fil-A. We went home and I hung out with the dogs outside in the backyard. Tried to tan a bit more haha... made pasta for dinner and went out for dessert.
Sunday, we woke up to go to Costco to get groceries. After grocery shopping, Kyle and I went to get my window tint removed. That was my birthday gift haha. I just realized that this was my 2nd birthday gift that was car-related. Remember detailing my car, Jess?? LOL We just hung out at home after the window tint. I took the dogs out a lot just to be outside, made turkey burgers for dinner, and went to Blackball for dessert.
Memorial Day Weekend
Started the weekend by leaving the office at noon on Friday. I took a work call on the road and we made it to Portland at 4:30. We had dinner with Kyle’s fam at 5pm and went straight to the Rose City Festival? Kyle’s aunt was performing. It was pretty much a carnival and I had never seen so much white trash before lol.
We went 9 hole golfing Saturday morning and had Mongolian grill for lunch. We chilled for a bit afterwards and went to our Airbnb to get ready for the wedding. Wedding ran on SUPER Asian time. Everything was late lol. And one of the waitstaff spilled champagne ALL over one of the guests that sat next to Kyle. Kyle had some champagne on his pants. The venue also had some technical difficulties when the bride and groom were supposed to have their first dance. THE MUSIC WOULDN’T CONNECT TO THE SOUND SYSTEM. What a nightmare. But we all took that down time to take photobooth pics with the bride. Kyle and I had to leave early to pick up friends from the airport :( We went to Ground Kontrol that night (boozy arcade)
We had an early-ass day on Sunday. We woke up early to get to Waffle Window for breakfast and headed to Beaverton to the NIke store. We were supposed to eat at the food trucks but a lot of them weren’t opened this weekend which was a bummer :( We ate at Pike Market? Or something instead. It was really cool, pretty much a food court inside the lobby of a building. I ordered ramen (WAY TOO SALTY) and Stephanie and I shared a cookies and cream ice cream from Salt n Straw. We headed over to Multnomah Falls after lunch and that was a shit show. SO MUCH TRAFFIC. I ended up telling Steph and Tim to get out of the car and walk to the falls and we would just pick them up whenever we got closer LOL. We also went to see Latourell Falls? And went to some lookout point. I totally forgot what the “lookout point” was called. We had dinner at Nong’s. OMG Best chicken and rice!! It was definitely the sauce that makes the dish. I soooo want to come back and get more!! After our nap in the airbnb, we went to Voodoo hehe We also went to Top Golf Sunday night and got to play 1.5 hours of golf.
Monday was a sleep-in type of day sorta. The others slept in. I was awake since like 6 or 7 am. We left the airbnb around 10:30 to see if we could get brunch at Tasty n Alder. NOPE. Way too many people waiting in line. So we had brunch at Cheryl’s instead. After brunch, we headed to Powell’s and I got the final 2 books in my Dorothy Must Die series. It’s not a great series but I kinda want to know what happens at the end the of books now >_>. We got Blue Star donuts and ate them at the Rose Garden. Kyle and I went home after dropping Tim&Steph off at Alberta Arts district.
Now I am tired and want more sleep. So not ready for today.
1 Week Post Whole30
I am so bloated. I can 100% tell that I felt so much better while following the Whole30 diet. So, starting today, I’m going to try to go back on Whole30 but it’s not gonna be that strict. I will cook the majority of my food and will choose healthier options when eating out. I don’t feel like I crave any junk food or soda, so that’s good.
Today’s breakfast was a reduced fat turkey bacon and egg sandwich from Starbucks & a grande cinnamon almond milk macchiato. Grand total is 420 cals. I plan on getting Wild Ginger for lunch (they have this fast food kinda deal... can’t decide if I want to get chicken or vegan..)
This past weekend went by in a blur. I had an eye appointment and the optometrist pretty much said I don’t need to get lasik. He said we have very similar vision and it’s not a problem since we can find our way to the bathroom without our glasses on. >_> We also tried a new Asian dessert place in International District. I liked it but it was in a pretty ghetto part of town. Sunday was a much nicer day so Kyle and I went and played a round of Par 3 golf. I suck so bad. They were having a kids tournament before we got to play and those kids are 100x better than I am :( after golf, we went to Bellevue to get dim sum at Top Gun. I actually really like it there and it was pretty cheap! The total was $140 for 11 people. After dimsum, I made Kyle take us to Bellevue Square for shopping. I bought gifts for my manager’s going away event and gifts for the bridal shower/bachelorette party I’m going to on the 20th. We ate “dinner” at Vivo 35. I just wanted to get their dessert but I was hungry after dimsum (didn’t eat much) so we got a truffle fettucine to share with the dessert. Totally did not meal prep even though I wanted to hahaha.
