I got off work early the other day so I decided to take a walk around the local area. I saw a homeless man who was huddled up in a blanket that smelled of shit. It was a cold night so he was covered from head to toe. “What an instinct” I thought. The smell must be utterly repulsive, the kind of smell that makes one gag for hours, I want to gag just thinking about it. Yet despite the aroma of the sweat, and the piss, and the shit, and the blood that had all steering wide and made one suit vomit; this man of trash clung to his blanket for dear life. Because his dear life depended upon it. Not many people with a survival instinct like that anymore, certainly not you.

The next morning I saw that the man had died in his sleep. Ironic that the very survival he clung to became the final nail in his coffin, nobody willing to help the shit covered man.

I could only hope such a fate would befall someone like you. Alas, I’m not nearly so lucky.

And people wonder why this blog is empty.
