Tips For Festivals: Tip #1 Wear comfy shoes!!

Wear comfy shoes!!

I can not stress this enough. Comfortable shoes will either make or break your festival experience. The first year At Bonnaroo I wore vans and they were ok, but after hours of dancing and walking around my feet were ready for them to come off.

My second year at Bonnaroo I wore sandles and that was by far the worst choice. People who were intoxicated step on my toes so many times I thought I would lose at least one before the festival was over. They didn’t do it on purpose but it did kind of ruin my time. You also have to be aware that it can get muddy at festivals so you have to be ok with stepping in mud and risk mud getting in between your toes. Lastly I felt every rock walking into center roo which became uncortable after three or four trips to center roo.

My third year at Bonnaroo was by far the best. I wore Nike running shoes and I had the best time. My feet never hurt. I couldn’t feel rocks. My toes were also protected from getting stepped on. When I go this year I will be wearing some kind of Nike shoe. They definitely proved themselves to be made to last at a festival. They did get dusty, but a simply wipe with a wet woe back at camp restored them to how they were.
