You’re here forever…The Castle made sure of that.

Bonne Nuit is an 18+ horror MFRP inspired by Resident Evil, Dead by Daylight and other tales of terror. Your characters have been mysteriously brought to The Castle, a massive stronghold that seems to stretch on forever and contains untold horrors. The Castle feeds off of terror and fear, and your characters are going to feed it well. Death will not free you from this torment- all who perish in its walls inevitably come back. We hope you enjoy your stay~

these are different things btw. actual adaptability means not dealing with being miserable long term. and being constantly mildly annoyed/frustrated with a situation but being “able to deal with it” counts as ambient misery. btw.

let this be your sign to make your life just a little more livable. get a dollar store trash can for your bedside so Cup City’s invasion plans fall through. block a tag or post that makes you grind your teeth every time you see it. get some grip pads so your bed stops sliding across the hardwood a little bit every time you get in it. tell that person you need a little more support. if you get annoyed at a situation more than a couple times, change it. don’t be content with being miserable.

Ever since your arrival at the Castle, there has been one constant. The Gate, steely and uncaring, biting into the Earth and keeping you from that sweet freedom you so desire. Strict and cruel punishment has awaited all who attempt escape, and every Warden of the Castle has said the same thing.

There is no escape.

That same reminder echoes in your ears now as you look up at the Gatehouse, in the Bailey where it always is. Today, The Gate is wide open, and the fearsome Knight who watches over it is nowhere to be seen. The freedom you have so longed for is finally within reach. You can walk right through the gate, and no one will stop you.

And yet, instead of hope, your heart fills with dread.
