[Name] sits snuggly on her sofa, lilac pillows scattered on there. There's a liquorice stick in between her lips as she continues to write her article. Is there a title? Not yet. But there will be! Soon! Very…very soon. The weeknd plays in the background, her scented diffuser allowing the scent of lavender to fly throughout the room.
There's a double knock on her apartment door and [Name] doesn't make a move to try and open it. She already knows who it is. Only one person does a double knock when they come over to her house. And it's not any of her mom's. Or Nya or Jay. Or Kai. Or Wu. Not that Wuhas ever been to her apartment.
"Come on in, hero," She mutters, Lloyd opening the door as soon as the sentence finishes. She swallows the liquorice, stretching her arms above her head.
"You know, you really need to lock your doors," Lloyd says as he enters the apartment. He closes the door and locks it with [Name]'s spare key. She gave it to him about two weeks ago. He knows it was a huge step for her to do that. And he was so excited when she did. He could not stop smiling. Nya was suspicious. "It's not safe to keep it open,"
"It's not open," [Name] says, smiling as he walks into her living room with no shoes on. "It's closed,"
"Yeah, pushed close," Lloyd raises his eyebrow, putting some hot take out on the table in front of her. "Not locked close,"
"Same thing," [Name] says, reaching for the food.
"It's not the same thing," Lloyd loosens his tie, raking a hand through his blond curls. [Name] shrugs, putting the photograph of her name written by the clouds on a side table. Yeah, Superman did it for her. And they've only been seeing each other for three months. Interesting. "You missed lunch today," [Name] purses her lips going silent as she feels Lloyd’s eyes on her. "And breakfast,"
"Hero, are you stalking me? Again?" [Name] questions, opening up the plastic tub and her stomach growls at the smell. "Oh, dios mío, huele tan bien,"
"I think checking on you is the better term," Lloyd states, sitting down on the sofa next to her. [Name] puts the tub back down on the table, manoeuvring herself on to his lap. He sets his hands on her hips, rubbing them slowly. The baggy top she's wearing, which is his or was his, smells just like her. Smells like lavender and liquorice, obviously. "You smell of liquorice," He comments with a boyish smile. [Name] rolls her eyes, taking off his glasses.
"You know it's my favourite thing," [Name] whispers, resting her chin on Lloyd’s shoulders. He's so warm and cuddly. Like her own personal heater. She closes her eyes, Lloyd resting his chin on [Name]'s shoulder. "You're the one that made me like it so much. With that silly sweet bouquet,"
"Hey!" Lloyd pokes [Name]'s side, making her laugh aloud. "There were other flavours and you ate it all in under an hour,"
"So I have a sweet tooth," [Name] shrugs, making Lloyd laugh. "Sue me,"
"Can I have some?"
"Some what?"
"Liquorice,"
"Uh," [Name] tries to get off Lloyd’s lap but he pulls her back down gently. She rolls her eyes, turning her head to look back at the table. And the packet is empty. She's finished them all. "I can't see any. I'm pretty sure I ate them all,"
"That's not what I meant," Lloyd whispers, [Name] narrowing her eyes at him before humming.
"You are insatiable," [Name] whispers to him, Lloyd nodding in agreement as he pulls her closer. [Name] rests her arms around his neck, leaning in for a kiss. [Name] captures Lloyd’s lips quickly. If he was surprised by the sudden affection, he definitely didn't show it. He deepens the kiss hungrily, a groan trapped in his throat.
[Name] sinks her teeth into Lloyd’s bottom lip, tugging on it slightly. Lloyd’s hands find themselves on her ass as [Name] starts to tug on his golden curls.
Lloyd smiles into the kiss, making [Name] laugh which makes him laugh in retaliation.
"What's so funny?" She asks him, him pecking her lips one more time.
"Did you actually think he kicked my ass?" Lloyd mumbles, looking up at her with his green eyes. "The hammer of bravia?"
"Well," [Name] says, making a so-so movement with her head. "You did loose," She says softly. Lloyd frowns, [Name] squishing his cheeks together and giving him another kiss. "But you did protect the people and you tried your hardest and that's all I care about, really,"
"Thank you,"
"Of course," She smiles, before making a face. "But..."
"If you keep interviewing yourself, people are probably going to figure it out. I feel like Nya has already figured it out but she's just not saying anything,"
"Yeah, but the glasses,"
"You mean the ones that won't fool everyone forever?" [Name] questions, Lloyd leaning for another kiss. He loves kissing her. It's just so addictive. "And ethically, the interviews that you're doing with 'superman'," [Name] puts her hands on Lloyd’s chest, stopping him from distracting with more kisses. "Are problematic. You know the questions you're going to be asked,"
"Then I'll let you interview me," Lloyd says with a small shrug.
"Are you sure? I don't feel like that'll be a good idea,"
"Come on, sweetheart," Lloyd smiles. "I'm media savvy. I can handle any question that comes my way,"
"You're not joking, right?" [Name] asks, looking at Lloyd.
"I am not joking,"
"You'd actually let me interview you as superman?" [Name] questions, looking at Lloyd with an upside down smile. He loves her upside down smile. "The bird, the plane, superman? really?"
"Uh...sure?"
"That wasn't an actual yes,"
"Sorry, sorry," Lloyd agrees. She's right. It was an unsure yes. "I, Lloyd Montgomery Garmadon, would let you, [Name] [Last Name], interview me as superman,"
"Could I do it right now?"
"Uh..."
"Are you ready?" [Name] asks Lloyd as he sits opposite her. He really wanted to sit next to her but she said they wouldn't be able to finish the interview if he did.
"Did you have to change?" Lloyd motions to her lilac blouse. He loves the shirt. Of course he does, but she was wearing his clothes before. And not to sound entitled, but he preferred it that way.
"Yes, we're being professional," [Name] states, Lloyd playfully rolling his eyes. [Name] gives him a look, making him put his hands up. "Can I press the recorder?" Lloyd nods, [Name] pressing it. She lets out a small breath, getting into her interviewer zone. "Superman,"
"Miss [Last Name]," Lloyd says in a lower voice as he leans forward. "Hi," [Name] scrunches up her nose, trying to hide her smile at the cheeky 'hi'. She ignores him, beginning her questions.
"Okay, so recently you've come under a lot of fire,"
"I don't know if it's a lot,"
"I would disagree with that," [Name] starts. "Today, the secretary of defence was going to look into your actions in bravia," [Name] watches as Lloyd lets a smile slip. "Is that funny, Superman?"
"It's not funny," Lloyd admits. "It's just uh-i mean come on, my actions?" [Name] nods, waiting for him to continue. "I stopped a war,"
"Some would say maybe,"
"Not maybe, I did,"
"Okay," [Name] states, ready for her next question. "And how did you do that?"
"Well," Lloyd clasps his hands in front of him. "Bravia invaded Jarhanpur and I showed up and told them that wasn't right,"
"And you didn't do anything else?"
"Well, I smashed some tanks and things," If [Name] had super strength, she knows the first thing she would think about is getting big buckets of the paint. "And uh...a couple planes and some other stuff. There were no casualties and significant injuries,"
"Okay," [Name] nods. "Did you interact with the president of Bravia?"
"A very small amount,"
"And what's a very small amount?"
"That was between us," Lloyd states, [Name] giving him a look as she pauses the recorder. "What?" He asks her as he takes a glass of milk from the table, standing up and walking away with it.
"This is on the record,"
"Yeah, but that conversation was between the two of us," He says, washing the glass in the sink as he's drained the milk from it. Country boy habits die hard.
"Yeah, but I would have asked that question whether or not, I needed the answer to it,"
"Really?"
"Really," [Name] nods. "Can I un pause?"
"Yes," [Name] holds up the recorder, unpausing it. "After I stopped the war, I went to see Ghurkos,"
"Where?" [Name] questions, Lloyd standing against her grey walls.
"In the capital of Luchavic, at the royal palace,"
"And...did anything happen?"
"I took a private audience with Ghurkos," Lloyd confesses, crossing his arms over his chest.
"And how did you do that?"
"I flew him out to the desert and I..."
"you?"
"And I placed him against a cactus," Lloyd admits with a shrug.
"You placed him against a cactus," [Name] repeats slowly. Her boyfriend put someone against a cactus?! "The cactus which usually has sharp spines? Is that not considered as torture?"
"No, not torture," Lloyd laugh, putting his first finger and thumb together. "The spikes were not even that big,"
"Segura, Superman. What did you say to him?" [Name] moves over, sitting on a chair that's closer to where Lloyd is standing with the recorder in her hand.
"I told him that if he even messes with Jarhanpur again, he'll have to personally answer to me,"
"And what did you mean by that?"
"That if such events occurred, we would have a more serious discussion. That's all,"
"More serious than tearing his back on a cactus?"
"Ghurkos was going to kill people, you seem to keep forgetting that,"
[Name] pauses the recorder, she purses lips as she looks up at Lloyd.
"I am not forgetting that but I cannot be biased in my interview," She tells him. "Should we stop?"
"No, no," Lloyd shakes his head. This is important to [Name]. He can do this. "It's okay. We can continue,"
"Okay," [Name] says softly, pressing play on the recorder. "So, in effect you illegally entered a country, you inserted yourself in an incredibly heated geopolitical situation. Siding with the nation, Jarhanpur which has historically not been a friend-"
"Jarhanpur has changed,"
"Against a nation which is technically our ally, then threatened their head of state?"
"First of all," Lloyd begins, counting on his fingers. "Whether or not Jarhanpur is an imperfect country does not give another nation the right to invade it,"
"Yes, but the Bravian government maintains," [Name] tells him. "They're freeing the Jarhanpurian's from a tyrannical regime,"
"Yes," Lloyds sighs, frustrated. "But you know that's very silly,"
"Do i?"
"The Bravian government of all people, is saying this?" Lloyd rolls his eyes. "Come on,"
"Superman," [Name] starts, wiping her lip with her thumb. "This is on the record. Do you want to stop?" Lloyd knows that [Name] agrees with him. He knows it and he knows she's one of the best reporters at the daily planet. She has the knack to annoy people, to get them angry enough for them to use their rage to spit out the truth. Rage is the truest emotion.
"No, it's fine," He sits back down on a chair. He adjusts his trousers, waiting for [Name] to carry on the interview. [Name] smiles, putting her thumbs at him. "You may continue, Miss [Last Name],"
"Superman, did you consult with the president before entering Bravian airspace?" And she went in straight for the kill. Lloyd groans, looking up to the ceiling. [Name] painted lilac clouds on the ceiling. Can she even reach the ceiling?
"No,"
"The secretary of defence?"
"No,"
"Or any Ninjago official before you took matters into your own hands and decided how to handle this extremely delicate-"
"Ghurkos and his goons were going to kill people,"
"Yes, but the result of you seemingly acting as a representative-"
"I wasn't representing anybody!" Lloyd exclaims, motioning to himself as he rises from his seat. "Except for me! A-and myself! A-a-and I don't know, doing good!"
"And what if people thought you were just replacing one tyrannical regime with another?"
"Is that really how you feel?"
"I'm not the one being interviewed," [Name], sitting on her chair in a way seen as uncomfortable by most. "But people would question it. People would maybe wait for a moment to see how else they could figure it out,"
"People were going to die!" Lloyd cries out, [Name] pausing the recorder. She looks at him and he sighs. "You can keep going,"
"Are you sure?" [Name] questions as he nods with a hum. "I'm going to change the subject, okay?" He nods again wordlessly, [Name] unpausing the recorder. "So, you've got a lot of heat on social media lately,"
"I don't really read that stuff," He tells her, [Name] holding the recorder and moving closer to Lloyd. "Superman doesn't have time for selfies," [Name] looks at Lloyd confused, unsure if she should laugh. Lloyd turns, seeing the look on her face. "What?"
"You talk about yourself in third person..." She holds in her laughter, trying to continue the interview. Social media. Let's get back to that. "As you don't use social media," [Name] starts, holding up an eyebrow. "People are suspicious of you because you're, well...you are an alien,"
"Yes," Lloyd nods, looking at one of [Name]'s older pieces of art work. A painting of her and her mom's. "I've been very honest about that, from the beginning. I come from a planet called Krypton. Which is gone. It was destroyed; along with all of my history...my parents. They sent me here as a baby to save my life,"
[Name]’s eyes soften, her heart warming.
"Do you miss them?"
"I...I do," [Name] smiles at his comment, wanting to go and give a hug.
"Do you know anything about your biological parents?"
"Just that they sent me here to serve humanity and help the world to be a better place,"
"They said that?"
"They did," Lloyd nods, looking over to [Name]. "They sent a message along with me. That message is why I do what I do. I cherish it more than anything,"
"Because you understand now there are a lot of people maintaining you are here for...let us say less good purposes. hashtag superspy, hashtag supershit-"
"Supershit?" Lloyd turns to her, making a face. "Come on, [Nickname]. you know how that one makes me feel!"
"I do," She agrees, pausing the recorder. "Because Superman needed to react to this! And this is on the record. It's stupid, the hashtags that they are making. I'm so sure it's just a group of dick's doing this. Let's just stop the interview. We can do something...Lloyd?"
Her voice falters, seeing the look on his face.
"I think...I'm going to go,"
"Oh," [Name] nods to herself, blinking rapidly. Calm down. "Okay," This has happened a few times before where Lloyd would get frustrated and leave. "Uh, let me get your stuff,"
"No, no. You don't need to do that," He says to her, putting his hands on her shoulders. She looks up at him, giving him a sad smile. "I'm just..."
"Annoyed at me?"
"Annoyed by the fact that you're an incredible reporter," He smiles at her, making her smile be a bit more happier. "I just need a breather,"
"Okay," She nods, Lloyd giving her a kiss on the forehead. He gets the plates from the table in the sitting room and puts them in the skin. "I can wash them," She tells him as he moves out of her way. "I'm not going to use it," She whispers as she begins to wash the plates. The recording,"
Lloyd looks up from the sitting room as he gets his blazer and bag.
"Thank you," He tells her, walking back into the kitchen and giving another kiss on her head. She smiles at him, turning back to the plates in the sink.
"Dios, sabía que esto nunca funcionaría," Lloyd hears as he goes to leave the apartment. "Lo sabía,"
I knew this wouldn't work. That's what she said. What did she mean by that? He furrows his eyebrows, turning back to the kitchen. Her headphones are over her ears and he can hear her heart beating slower than usual. Like she's trying to force it to slow down.
He sighs, walking out the apartment and closing the door behind him.
Imagine, just imagine that you are a long lost princess, and you had no idea! What kind of life would that be? A sad one? A fun one? A mysterious one?
Well, you would have to ask [Name]. She is the long lost princess of Corona. And she did not know. She still does not know it.
All she knew is that she wanted to see the lanterns. And that is exactly what she is going to do. With the help of Montgomery. She will.
Montgomery, or as we have previously found out that his true name is Lloyd Montgomery Garmadon, lies asleep. His head resting on a rock as [Name] lies away from him, against a tree. He thought it to be common courtesy. They have had a long journey.
He has discovered that [Name]’s hair glows when she sings a specific song and she can heal people. He learnt that he can swim. He learnt that his head is pretty strong. And having a pan as a weapon is pretty smart. It’s a pretty good weapon. He also learnt what it’s like to trust someone again. [Name] being that someone. How could someone be so smart and so kind?
Anyways!
They also met ruffians and managed to run away from the two siblings that Lloyd betrayed at the very beginning. You see, Lloyd stole the crown of Corona with these two siblings. Acronix and Krux. and he tried to run away with the crown but he couldn’t escape the brothers and the royal guard. The royal guard has a particularly annoying horse that keeps seeming to find Lloyd. It has happened twice. And it is happening right now.
A drop of water lands on Lloyd’s face, the blond grumbling silently as he wipes it off his face. Two other drops of water fall on his face, making the blond wake up. He turns his head, his eyes narrowing as he sees the horse. You know that horse that I was talking about earlier. This is Akita. She is very stubborn.
She snorts, water dripping down her snout as she glares at Lloyd.
"Well, I hope you’re here to apologise," Lloyd mutters, turning his head to go back to sleep.
[Name] jumps awake, hearing Lloyd’s scream, her long hair falling from her body. Her chameleon, Riyu, squeaks turning red in shock before going back to light blue.
She looks around, seeing as Lloyd is being dragged away by the black horse.
"No, put me down!" Lloyd shouts, reaching for the grass to try and pull him back to [Name]. "Stop it! No! Let me go!"
[Name] runs after them, grabbing Lloyd’s arms as she tries to pull him back towards her. Akita neighs roughly, dragging Lloyd towards her.
"Give me him!" [Name] grunts, struggling as she continues to pull Lloyd towards her. Akita pulls harshly, pulling off Lloyd’s brown boot as Lloyd falls forward and lands on [Name]. Her eyes go wide as she looks up at him, Lloyd blushing slightly. This the second time they have been this close.
[Name] hears a harsh neigh, pushing Lloyd off her as she rushes over to the horse.
"Whoa!" [Name] raises her hands, Akita stopping abruptly. "Woah, whoa, whoa, whoa," Akita’s eyebrows furrow, glaring at Lloyd but [Name] seems to be keeping her at bay. "Easy, girl, easy. Calm down,"
Akita gallops, Lloyd scooting further and further away from the animal.
"Easy, girl," [Name] soothes, Akita looking at [Name]. Her head tilts, looking at the woman curiously. "Easy. That’s it,"
Akita looks up, seeing Riyu on [Name]’s head. Riyu motions for Akita to calm down, Akita blinking in shock.
"Now sit," Akita lowers herself slowly, [Name] raising her eyebrow in the first place. "Sit," Akita grumbles, sitting on her hide legs.
"What?" Lloyd questions in disbelief, watching them.
"Now drop the boot," Akita’s eyebrows raise, looking at [Name] confused. "Drop it," Akita releases the boot from her mouth, [Name] completely beaming. "Oh, you are such a good girl!"
[Name] gently rubs Akita’s snout, smiling at her. Akita’s face relaxes, her tail wagging behind her. "Yes, you are! You all tired from chasing the bad man all over the place?"
Akita nods, Lloyd making a face.
"Excuse me?!"
"Nobody appreciates you, do they?" [Name] coos, rubbing Akita’s face. "Do they?" Akita snorts in agreement, nodding. She rubs her neck against [Name]’s back.
"Oh, come on!" Lloyd huffs. "She’s a bad horse!"
"Oh, don’t be silly, Lloyd," [Name] smiles, looking back at him. Her colour hair hangs down her back and onto the grass. His heart softens, seeing the smile on her face. "She is nothing but a big sweetheart," Akita chitters happily, rubbing her head against [Name]’s cheek. "Isn’t that right?"
[Name] notices the medallion on her neck, reading the name.
"Akita," She nods, the collar has a golden sun on it. [Name] has always loved the sun.
"You’ve got to be kidding me," Lloyd throws his hands up in disbelief, Akita giving him a very harsh glare.
"Look," [Name] starts, getting Akita’s attention. "Today is kind of the biggest day of my life. And the thing is," [Name] motions to Lloyd, the blonde getting up by himself. Still without a boot by the way. “I need you not to get him arrested,” Akita huffs, moving backwards. "Just for twenty four hours and then," Lloyd and Akita look at each other with very strong dislike in their eyes. "You can chase each other to your hearts content, okay?"
Lloyd sighs, putting his hand out towards Akita. Akita looks at him in disgust before turning away.
"And it's also my birthday," [Name] mentions, looking over at Akita. "Just so you know," Akita sighs, putting her hoove on Lloyd’s hand. They shake hands once, staring at each other in distrust.
[Name] pushes past them with Riyu on her shoulder, hearing something in the background. Akita and Lloyd both watch her, Akita raising her hoof as she punches Lloyd in the stomach. He falls back in pain, Akita chittering out a laugh.
[Name] smiles as she looks at the kingdom of Corona. Wow. It's beautiful. And the way it looks in the sun?! How could she have gone her whole life without seeing it?
She walks onto the stone bridge, looking back at Lloyd with a smile as he smiles back at her. He notices a wanted poster of himself, quickly snatching it from the bridge and crumpling in his hands. Akita glares at him, Lloyd stuffing the paper in the horse’s mouth. Akita spits it out, the paper landing on Lloyd’s face. Akita huffs out a laugh, Lloyd wiping the poster off his face. Did you know that they never seem to get his nose right? In these wanted posters? He finds it so irritating.
The blond lunges at the horse, pushing her. And with that Akita headbuts him. Lloyd goes to strangle the horse, but Riyu, who is now sitting on [Name]’s head, narrows his eyes at them.
The two stop fighting, letting go of each other. But Lloyd still pushes Akita as they walk towards the kingdom.
[Name] gently pushes past people as she walks into the kingdom with a gleeful smile on her face. The kingdom is decorated with purple flags with a golden sun in the middle. Everyone in the village are joyful and happy. And it’s infecting her too.
[Name] goes to walk forward, letting out a small yelp as a cart races past her. She accidentally bumps into a woman, the woman smiling at her with soft eyes. Why is [Name] so clumsy? She disrupts some ducks before bumping into two other men.
"Sorry," She tells him before, letting out a yelp as her hair is being trampled on. Lloyd quickly helps pick up her hair as [Name] does the same. He looks down at her hair before looking around and noticing four sisters who are braiding their hair on the fountain. He whistles, getting their attention and motioning [Name]’s hair to them. The four girls gasp, letting go of their hair.
[Name] laughs as she sits on the floor, her [colour] hair being braided as the sister dances between her locks.
Lloyd rests against the wall, ducking immediately as he sees the kingsguard. He notices them walking past so he goes to check on [Name]. And his eyes immediately dilate as he watches as she turns, showing him his hair.
Purple, pink and golden flowers scattered in the plait and it is easy to manage. She loves it! And so does Lloyd. Akita raises her eyebrow at him, Lloyd pushing the horse away.
"Thank you so much, girls!" [Name] smiles, hugging them all.
The two of them wander between stall and stall, [Name] tasting all different kinds of pastries and fruits as Lloyd watches her with a laugh.
The two wait in line for another pastry, [Name] looking to her right. A memorial? She walks out of line, walking over to it. The Queen, The King and a baby.
"It’s for the lost princess," A young girl says to his younger brother, placing a purple flower on it. [Name] narrows her eyes, looking at the memorial. Why does the baby look just like her?
She perks up, hearing a band behind her and following them and their music.
Lloyd smiles at the vendor in thanks, turning to give a treat to [Name] but she is dancing. She is dancing!
The band watches her move as she puts her hand out to a child, the two of them dancing together as she spins him. She offers her hand to a man, the older man shaking his head no. He has not danced since his wife died. But [Name] still offers her hand anyway with a smile. She pulls him towards her, his friend laughing on the outskirts of the circle.
The woman in purple reaches out for another man, that man taking his wife and her dad with them into the dance circle.
[Name] smiles over at the woman, looping their hands together as [Name] brings her into the dance circle.
Everyone in the dance circle claps to the beat of the song, [Name] leading them around the sunflower art on the floor. She smiles, turning over to Lloyd, motioning for him to come and join her.
He scrunches up his noise, shaking his head as Akita trots over to them with Riyu on her back. Akita gives Lloyd a look before using her hind to push him into the dance circle. Lloyd glares at Akita before his hand is taken by a woman. Akita neighs out a laugh, hitting her hoof against the ground.
Lloyd pays a small boy, buying a flag for [Name]. And as he turns to give it to her, she hugs him, putting the flag against the rest of them in the kingdom.
Lloyd and [Name] dance with other villagers, turning as the dance is allowing them to. They reach for each other, but two other villagers take their hands, [Name] giving him a small smile as Lloyd just winks at her. Next time definitely.
On her hands and knees, [Name] uses the chalk to create a magnificent piece of art. She wipes her head as she finishes, standing next to Lloyd. He rests his hand on her shoulder, completely in awe.
The art she made? A golden sun with sunrays and an ombre purple sunset.
The violinist gets into the music deeply, turning with his instrument as everyone continues to dance. [Name] lets out a happy cheer, looping her hands with the villagers.
Two of the kingsguard walk past an alley obviously as [Name] and Lloyd look at each other, in that exact alley, with warm cheeks and dilated eyes as they smile.
The villagers cheer as some people kick up as they dance, [Name] dancing with her dress.
[Name] points at the earth in a book, Lloyd watching her with a smile on his face. His chin rests on his hand, his eyes flickering between the book and the woman.
The townspeople continue to dance, in perfect harmony. Lloyd looks around as [Name] dances by herself as Lloyd’s arm is linked with a woman’s. His head turns as he watches her, the woman in complete bliss.
The song ends, [Name] in Lloyd hand in hand as she spins into him. His hands catch her by the hips, [Name] smiling as she rests her head on his chest. And he pulls her closer to him.

To Mariana’s joy, the Prince visited her late husband's land in abundance. However, to her dismay, it was not for Diana. It was for [Name].
Every single time he arrived at their mansion, he had obviously brought flowers for Mariana and Diana as his mother raised a gentleman. And he bought [Name] much more.
Books. Dresses that suit her taste. Treats, both savoury and sweet. Flowers. Bracelets as he noticed that the [Last Name] daughter did not wear rings or necklaces.
The Prince would also take the lady places. [Name] did not have a chaperon as her mother never deemed her handsome enough for one so whenever the Prince and the lady he wishes to give his heart to travel places together, his cousin is watching. Morro. But only if the two are in society. Society has noticed the woman that the Prince seems to be completely enthralled with. And there are certain women in society who dislike it so. One of these women is Lady Harumi Jade. Her family is involved with the mining of gems and jewels in the Kingdom of Ninjago.
Morro does not like Harumi. He had met her at a ball previously as Misako and Garmadon were encouraging their son to look for a bride. Morro completely was aware of her personality and found her distasteful.
But then Morro is a trickster. And there are a lot of Lady’s and Lord’s in the Kingdom who do not find him most entertaining. Morro simply does not care. He teases every soul. Every single soul. Even his father, Wu. but unfortunately for him, and fortunately for Wu, the trick was foiled before it was able to take place. And he did try to tease [Name] but the strong minded Lady did not have any of it. Which made Lloyd the happiest person in the entire kingdom. Not that he never is not. He seems to be a complete ball of sunshine as of current, according to his mother and father. Lloyd…he is not a difficult child but he was quiet and timid. The King and Queen are just ecstatic to see that their heir is becoming the future King that they knew he could be.
Like clockwork, the Prince walks into the woods of the [Last Name] land, kicking off his boots. It is extremely common for him to walk there as he knows that [Name] is reading there. Or perhaps, she is gardening. Farmer Lloyd, she teased him when he tried to help her, the last time he was here.
His ear twitches as he hears some mumbling, his legs automatically turning as they follow the sound. The sound of her. He slows to a stomp, watching as the woman scans her eyes between three different books as she carefully waters a plant. She cannot drown it, then it will not survive. But she must give it the right amount of water so that it flourishes.
If Lloyd’s dragon cycle would have been any closer, his tail would be swishing behind him. She is a gem. She is the most beautiful person in the entire world. She deserves everything she wishes for. And he will get anything she wishes.
He slowly and carefully walks, avoiding the branches as he stalks closer to her. He gently drops his boots next to the tree trunk, holding his breath as he stands behind her. She smells so sweet. Like honey. Or cinnamon.
"Ah, my love," He smiles, wrapping her arms around her as [Name] lets out a scream. She turns to him in a huff, Lloyd giving her a cheeky smile. "I missed you,"
"You must not scare me like that," She scolds gently, resting her hands over his arms. Over their…development with one another, [Name] has become more confident and comfortable in herself. "I am partaking in a quite delicate study,"
"I am aware," Lloyd hums, rubbing his forehead on her shoulder. "I simply wished to be here. I will distract you no longer," He smiles, [Name] giving him a look. He laughs, giving him a charming smile. "Do you not have faith in me?" She does not believe him.
"Do sit, Your Highness," She snorts, Lloyd squeezing her once before letting go. He does exactly as she says, sitting down on a fallen tree trunk. "Do tell the health of the King and Queen?"
"You need not call them that," Lloyd chuckles, lying on the tree trunk. "I am quite certain that my mother would make complaints if she heard that you still called her the Queen," Especially when she is to be [Name]’s mother in law.
"I do not know them personally," [Name] scrunches up her nose as she takes some scissors, cutting dead plants off. "I do not wish to overstep. I am but a-"
"The," Lloyd interrupts, putting his finger up. "You are the future,"
"I do not know how on earth you convinced me to parktake in this," [Name] mutters, looking around. She is on a boat. [Name] does not enjoy boats. She prefers the solid ground. The earth. The stability of the earth. The grass. The flowers. The critters and creatures.
Her hands hug her torso, having no trust in the wooden row boat underneath her.
"I am quite persuasive," Lloyd smiles, putting the rows in their holders. He told his head gently, watching [Name]. The sun comes out from beneath the clouds, brightening the whole lake. And "Ease your worries, [Name]," She looks at him, making a small face of doubt. "You may place your trust in me. No harm will come to you,"
She opens her mouth, going to speak but lets out a small sigh instead.
"Alright," She smiles, Lloyd handing a book to her. She opens it gently, the boat rocking against the water of the river but it does not phase her anymore. "Do you wish for me to-"
"Yes,"
[Name] gives him a look, Lloyd just smiling at her. She hides her smile, her cheeks getting warmer as she flicks to the page she was reading last. She starts reading, the ribbon on her wrist fluttering against her skin. A ribbon that Lloyd got for her. Because on his trip to the city alongside his mother, he noticed it in the window. And all thoughts of his love came to him.
The Lady continues to read, the ribbon falling from her wrist. [Name] lets out a yelp, reaching for it as Lloyd’s eyes go wide as he watches it fall into the lake.
"Lloyd," She looks at him, her face one of disappointment. For herself. Her mother would have started to yell at her completely. No forgiveness. No concern for her emotions. "I-"
"Do not worry yourself," He smiles at her, standing up on the boat. "I can retrieve it with ease," He shrugs off his shirt, [Name] looking away from him as her cheeks go warm. She has not seen a man bare before. She has never seen a man bare before. She lets out a squeak, covering her face. Lloyd laughs before jumping off the boat and leaping into the cold water. Thankfully, dragons run hot. [Name] watches, leaning over the boat as she places the book back down. She narrows her eyes through her glasses. How does a person look so graceful underwater? "See?" Lloyd shakes his damp blond curls, [Name] laughs as some of the lake water gets onto her. "You did not need to ever worry in the slightest,"
"What on earth have gotten in your mind?!" [Name] whisper shouts, watching as the Prince of the Kingdom, her lover, scale up the vines that lead to her bedroom window with complete ease. It is the only part of the outside of the mansion with greenery.
[Name] pushes the window open wider, Lloyd grabbing the ledge as he pulls himself up. His cheeks are slightly flushed as he gives her a closed eye smile. [Name] could reprimand him about safety…she is going to reprimand him for safety.
"Have you no concern for your person?!" [Name] whisper shouts at him. But the only thought in his head is how beautiful she is under the moon. A goodness. "How on earth did you have the thoughts which made you seem this as…" Her voice falters as Lloyd moves closer to her. His green eyes flicker between her lips and eyes.
"[Name]," He moves the curl from her face, her eyes dilating as she looks at him. "Will you be my queen?"
[Name] sits on her bed, holding up her mirror as she wipes off her make up. She could shower and clean it off that way but she is too lazy. University is hard. And she failed her driving test for the third time today so she is just tired. Of course, she is not going to give up. But it is really really sucky that she was so close.
She sighs, her phone buzzing on her bedside table. The elemental master of the sky looks over towards it, smiling as she sees who is calling her. Her boyfriend. Lloyd Montgomery Garmadon.
"Hey, baby," She smiles, placing her phone against her lamp so that he can see her. "How was…" Her thought process stops, [Name] looking at him.
His bottom lip is cut slightly. His blonde curls damp as they cling to his skin. It’s not night at all but he eyes seem to be glowing.
It’s safe to say that [Name] has the opinion that Lloyd is very attractive. He always is! But right now? Particularly? She wants to jump through the screen.
"Oh my gosh?! Baby? What happened to you?!"
"Quieter please," Lloyd mutters, falling face first on his pillow. He lets out a soft groan as he stretches his arms, before looking back at the screen to his yang. "I’m fine, Sweets," He yawns, snuggling into his pillow. This pillow smells just like [Name]. We know that because he stole it from her. Stole is a harsh word. Borrowed? Borrowed and decided he will never give it back? "It was just a rough patrol. It happens,"
And it was a rough patrol. The rest of the Ninja had to go to other parts of New Ninjago City to help with the sudden crime rise. So The Green Ninja had to patrol the centre of New Ninjago City. And as [Name] has not been cleared by Zane and Pixal for her injuries for the last patrol she did, he has to patrol by himself.
"So it doesn’t hurt?"
"No…?" Lloyd shrugs. His regeneration should have kicked in by now so he will be healed in a few hours. "Not really. I’m okay, Sweets. I promise,"
"Yeah?" [Name] asks as she finishes to wipe off her make up. "No pain at all?"
"I mean, I’m a bit tired," He admits.
"So you don’t need me to kiss it better?" Lloyd perks up, lifting his head. "Because it does not hurts so, I can just- "
"Oh, silly me!" Lloyd laughs, getting up from his bed. He shrugs on a green hoodie, zipping it up. "I just realised that I am in so much pain that I can barely walk," [Name] bursts out laughing, pulling on one of Lloyd’s hoodies that he left over. "So I need about ten million kisses from you so I can heal faster,"
"You’re a dragon…" She tells him, raising her eyebrow. "You can heal without my-"
"I can’t actually," Lloyd states with a nod. He pushes the window of his bedroom open, looking at it left to right. The sun is setting so he does not need hi gi right now. "I’m coming to retrieve my kisses,"
"All ten million of them?" [Name] smiles, opening her balcony window. So it is easier for him to come in. He never knocks when he does anyway.
"Of course," Lloyd jumps from the window, landing on the grass with ease. He was a ballet dancer. He has the grace. "I need you to kiss it better,"
I am honoured to hear that my betrothal has been accepted. I hope to bring you joy and I hope that our future together is full of harmony and surprises. As soon as you wish, we may begin festivities. Unless you wish to arrange a small gathering. It is, of course, whatever you wish to choose.
However, there may be a small occasion where it might be needed for us to reveal ourselves to the kingdom. But it is more than possible for us to arrange that after the betrothal.
I hope my letter reaches you in high regards.
Your betrothed,
Lloyd
Dear, Your Majesty
It was an absolute delight to accept your proposal. I am more than honoured that you decided to choose me. As soon as my grandmother is well enough to travel, we will make arrangements to travel to the capital of the kingdom.
As this is my first and, if the heavens will it, my only marriage I am uncertain of the arrangements of it all. My father is not exactly aware of the activities of marriage as it was my mother who took charge of it. But I will follow in my mother’s footsteps and take charge in the festivities. I am more than happy to decide all of the options if that is what you wish.
A sighting of the kingdom would be a wonder, Your Highness. I would be honoured to stand there with you. I am more than willing to arrange that with your court.
I also wish to thank thee of the flowers. I am completely marveled by how wonderful they look. These types of flowers do not bloom in the out region of the kingdom. I will cherish them with all my strength. And love.
And may I ask of your favourite colour?
Your betrothed,
[Name] [Last Name]
Dear, My bethorted
I am delighted to hear that you enjoy the flowers. The colour reminded me of you, as I remember you enjoy to design gowns. I also recall that you are inspired by your surroundings which mostly include the scenery of The kingdom of Ninjago.
I hope it is not too much to ask but I wish for you to simply call me Lloyd as it is my name. You are my equal, you may call me whatever makes you more at ease. But I would not mind it if you call me by my first name.
Oh and as for the festivities, as soon as you arrive, it is something we can plan amongst the two of us.
My favourite colour is forest green. May I ask what is yours?
Sincerely, Lloyd
Your betrothed
Dear, Lloyd
I am quite embarrassed that you remembered my playful activities yet quite ecstatic that you recalled them. I wish hope to create a piece of embroidery that you will be able to wear if you wish to on our wedding day.
And if you are certain that it is alright with yourself, I shall call you Lloyd. You may call me [Nickname] if you wish it.
[Colour] is the most delightful colour to my person. As soon as I arrive, I will love to show you. It is the colour of most of my garments. You may wear one if you wish.
I kid. Unless you wish to. Then I am quite serious. I will be more than delighted to make some sort of garment for your person.
I should be arriving soon.
Sincerely, [Name] <3
Dear, [NickName]
I eagerly await your arrival. You may ask my mother, she has told me I have continued to make a fuss. But I deem it very important for a huband…future husband to make a fuss for his lady’s arrival. And I would love to wear anything you wish to make for me.
"You know she is the prettiest woman I have ever seen," Lloyd whispers, feeding a chick. "I’m going to marry her,"
The rest of the farm animals surround him, listening to their farmer. Not actively listening but still listening. Of course they are going to listen to the man that feeds them good food. How could they not? He is a good cowboy. A good farmer. A good shepherd. He does it all.
"Marry me, you say?" [Name] smiles, walking into the barn as she dusts her hands on her shorts. It’s far too hot for jeans, but Lloyd seems to be wearing them. How does he survive in this heat? Maybe she should complain about the heat so that he can take off his shirt. "And when is the wedding?"
"I can’t tell you, darling," Lloyd smiles, looking back at her. "It’s a surprise,"
"Oh, yeah?" She laughs, sitting down next to him as some of the chicks jump into her lap. "Hello, my babies," [Name] takes off her hat, placing it down as some of the chicks fall into that too. Helen, the oldest chicken, has a lot of babies. "Don’t surprise me from behind, you remember what happened last time?"
"I could never forget," It was late at night. And Lloyd just wanted to scare her. [Name] is listening to the radio, sweeping up the barn because it was her turn since Lloyd took things to the farmer market to sell. Lloyd does not think that [Name] should be having turns and thinks that she should just relax on the farm with the animals. [Name] disagrees. Why? Because if, no! When she marries into that farm she needs to be able to do everything by herself. Anyways! She was sweeping and Lloyd scared her from behind. She swung the broom behind her so hard. Lloyd caught it of course. But it cut his hand. "You have a nasty swing, darling,"
"You scared me!" [Name] scoffs, landing her hands as three chickens settle in them. "That’s not my fault,"
Lloyd laughs, his eyes creasing as he turns away from her to look at the rest of the animals. He is more than happy to take the blame. He is even more happy that [Name] is able to protect herself.
"I came to see if you wanted me to bake anything before we start checking for vegetables on the farm," [Name] tells him, placing the chicks back on the barn floor. "We’ve got apples, strawberries, plums, raspberries,"
"I mean," Lloyd starts, dusting his hands as every animal starts to eat their nutrients. "I have something I want to eat,"
[Name] hums, thinking nothing of it as Lloyd stands up. She lets out a small shriek as Lloyd picks her up effortlessly, carrying her over his shoulder.
"You don’t need to carry me into the house," She whines, failing her legs around. Even though there is no one on the ranch right now, this is still embarrassing. She knows Cameral and Toffee is judging her right now. They are their prize horses. Treated like princesses. "I can carry myself!"
Lloyd chuckles, walks up the steps, opening the door with ease. The front door is not usually locked when he is around the farm. He trusts the people in the town to not steal anything from his house. He calls it a house. It is a mansion.
"I thought you wanted me to choose what I was going to eat?"
"I’m pretty sure you can do that without carrying me," [Name] mutters, allowing her body to go limp. Her eyes scan the house interior, her face making one of confusion as he walks up the stairs. When did he kick off his boots? And why are we going upstairs? "Uh, sunny?" Sunny is the nickname she gave him after meeting him for the first time. His hair is golden. You should see it shine in the sun. "The fruits are back in the kitchen…"
"I know," Lloyd states, reaching the final step. He pushes the door open to their shared room, placing [Name] on the bed gently. "But you said choose," He takes off his shirt, discarding it somewhere in the room as he places his cowboy hat on her head. He licks his bottom lip, crawling on the bed as [Name] looks at him with parted lips and dilated eyes. His mouth moves closer to the zip of the denim shorts, pulling down on the piece of metal with his teeth. "I chose,"
"How could you possibly think that's okay?!" The Cream Ninja kicks a gang member in the face before putting her hand out as her fan lands in her hand. It’s controlled by soundwaves and obviously as the Cream Ninja is the elemental master of sound, she can control her weapons pretty easily.
"I didn’t think it was that much of a big deal!" The Green Ninja replies back whilst in a fight with another gang member. He blocks all their attacks with ease even though he is slightly distracted by his yang. He cannot honestly even remember why they were arguing in the first place. But she is stubborn. And so is he.
"And that’s the problem!" She exclaims, throwing both of her fans forward as she blocks punches from two gang members at the same time. Lloyd swipes one leg under one of the fighting his yang before pushing them into the wall. "You just never seem to think! You’re more dragon than brain,"
"More dragon than brain?!" The Green Ninja scoffs, punching a gang member in the face without even looking. "What the-that does not even make any sense!"
"You don’t even make any sense!" The Cream Ninja huffs, glaring at him. He narrows his eyes, them going red as he looks at her. He is not angry. He could never be angry with her. Not ever. Are his emotions high? Yes! That is why his eyes are red. But he is not angry.
"How are they in complete sync?" Kai mutters, looking up at the screen. Obviously, the fight that [Name] and Lloyd are doing right now is being broadcast to the rest of their team. Why? Because Zane noticed that tension was high with the two and wished to check them. "How are they in complete sync with each other and still arguing?"
"Could be the bond?" Cole shrugs, standing next to the elemental master of fire.
"The bond between them or the mate bond?"
"...I mean I was thinking that it could be the mate bond," Cole states, looking up at the screen. It is obvious that the two are arguing. It can be told by the hand gestures, [Name] is very expressive. It can be told by the red in Lloyd’s eye. It could be told by anyone. Even the gang members that they are fighting. They could probably figure it out too. If they are conscious enough too. The Green and Cream Ninja are getting through them like bowling pins. "But it could also be the bond between them as people,"
"It's a really sick bond then," Kai furrows his eyes brows as the Cream Ninja kicks a gang member in the face.

NEWS ALERT: STAR IS THE NINJAGO
THE SHINING STAR HAS RETURNED HOME!
[NAME] [LAST NAME] IS BACK IN NINJAGO!
Lloyd scrolls through the news sites as he sits in the cafeteria of his university, his battered chips sitting in front of him. And he has not taken a single one to eat yet. And that’s how you know he is distracted. Lloyd loves battered chips and eats them a lot even though he should not. His mother will get onto him if he does.
[Name] [Last Name] is back in Ninjago. The person he saved all those years ago who turned into a fabulous musician. And a very confident one too.
He remembers saving her. He did not know her name back then, just a girl in a grey hoodie. And that grey is a shade he can remember. He remembers the look on her face when she saved him. Wow. The elemental master of life lets out a sigh. Wow. He remembers everything from that date. How could he not? He was sixteen. He just started to get used to juggling being the Green Ninja and being a high school student. There was a big attack on the city, which was caused by his father. But this was obviously before his father decided to change and redeem himself. The Green Ninja heard someone screaming and immediately went to help them. And he did.
"Come on, Sailor," [Name] smiles, opening the door to her apartment in New Ninjago City. It is so good to be back. Especially as her new album is coming out soon. And do not tell anyone but she is debating on touring her home town too. Just after the album comes out. "We need to settle. And you need to go to sleep,"
The popstar drags her massive suitcase into the living room, closing the door behind her. Wow, she stored a lot of memories in that suitcase. It’s so heavy. And she will deal with it tomorrow!
She watches as her golden retriever settles on his doggie bed, [Name] smiling at him. Her baby. She loves him so much.
"I just need to shower then and maybe order some food," [Name] mutters, kicking off her heeled boots. She keeps up appearances. Not that she hates it. Star is her. And she is Star. The leopard print. The long hair. The performing. The silver accessories. She loves it. But high heels hurt! Especially the ones that have very thin heels. Her balance needs to be perfect so that she can dance in them and not fall and look like an idiot. And she cannot look like an idiot.
She pulls her phone from the pocket of her jeans, going onto the dominos website. Pizza is the way to go here. And she can go and shower while the pizza comes.
"Hey everybody," [Name] smiles, her [curls/locs/braids] tied up above her head. Her phone is set up against a vase and there is pizza in front of her. [Pizza flavour], her favourite. And she is on instagram live! You would think she would do lives every day but [Name] does more tiktoks. "Oh, wow. There’s ten-nope, one hundre-nope, i’m just going to say that there is a lot of you," And there is. She laughs, seeing all the comments.
userone WHY DIDN’T YOU COME TO AMERICA BEFORE COMING TO NINJAGO?
usertwo YOU LOOK SO CUTE QUEEN
userthree please have my children
userfour can you say a country for my edit please?
userfive What song would you like to be edited to?
"I’m going to say Palestine for the edit and then one of my own songs to be edited to. And I couldn't go to America," She tells her fans, taking a bite of her pizza. She needs to go food shopping. There is nothing in her fridge. There is nothing in her cupboards. But spam. And she likes spam. But she cannot eat it with nothing. She also needs to do a massive clean. "I need a reset and I need to go home," She poses, fluttering her eyelashes as she looks away. Seductive pose. Something she has been perfecting. And she is certain she got it right. It would work if a certain blond is here. "Where my husband is!"
And her supposed husband is watching this live. Lloyd shakes his hair from his eyes, pushing it back.
She is really pretty. Insanely pretty.
He scrolls through the comments, his nose scrunching as he reads them all.
usersix i’m cumming for you, mommy
userseven WHY DO YOU LIKE THE GREEN NINJA SO MUCH??
usereight the green ninja and you would make such a cute couple
usernine [name] x green ninja = BEST COUPLE EVER
userten what would you do if you could see him?
"I think I would scream," [Name] admits, finishing the third slice of pizza. "Actually I don’t know. It would need to happen for me to see my reaction. The first thing I might say is something children cannot hear. But just know that there will be a lot of physical activity which will result in…" [Name] purses her lips, tapping her nail against her chin. Sex is the word she wants to say. "Lots of children,"
"Lots of children?!" Lloyd repeats in a whisper shouts, his eyes going wide. She’s kidding. She’s kidding, right?
"No, I’m just kidding," [Name] laughs, fixing the strap of her vest. She is not kidding. I mean she is kidding about the children but. Not the sex bit. "I feel like if I ever saw him I would thank for saving me all those years ago,"
Lloyd smiles softly, his cheeks going warm. She does not need to say thank you.
usereleven I THINK THE SONG TOMMY BY TOMMY GENESIS SUITS YOU SO MUCH DIVA
usertwelve we need to get the green ninja to you, girl
userthirteen TEAM STARNINJA <3
userfourteen ninjastar sounds better
userfifteen maybe greenstar?
"I think I like starninja," [Name] smiles, closing the lid of the pizza box. Lloyd feels the same. Not that they should be shipped. Because she is worth far more than him. And someone as incredible as her should not like someone like him. "It’s the cutest. But then again, I feel like we should ask him,"
usersixteen queen, what happens if he doesn’t like you?
userseventeen WHAT’S NOT TO LIKE??
usereighteen why would you say that?!
"I mean, I wouldn’t expect him to like me. For I know, he has a partner," [Name] shrugs. "But I feel like someone like him would let people know. So I still have hope. And I’m still going to stay the number one fan,"
Lloyd hums gently, lying his head back on his headboard. Some number one fan. Maybe he should visit her.
[Name] is betrothed to Lloyd Montgomery Garmadon. Being a lady, and being shielded by her mother, [Name] does not know much about war. And battle.
And Lloyd could not have that. Of course, if the situation comes, he will protect [Name] with his life. He is in love with her. How could he not be? But it would be quite helpful if she is able to defend herself.
"Are you quite certain you wish for me to do this?" [Name] questions her betrothed. She is not dressed in her usual robes of light colours. She is dressed in some wide legged trousers with a loose shirt. She is quite certain there are elements in the attire which she could improve but alas, it is quite comfortable.
"More than certain, my love," Lloyd smiles, [Name] making a massive face of uncertainty. The two stand in the royal courtyard where others watch them with intrigue. It is not common for a prince and princess to fight with swords. In the past, it was usually with words. She watches as Lloyd twists the wooden sword in his hands as she holds a real one. She does not know why he has entrusted his favourite sword to her. She also does not know why she must do this. "Now, take a strike towards me and I will assist you in what you should do,"
[Name]’s face still holds the same uncertainty but she gets into position. Something Lloyd taught her prior to their betrothal. Lloyd watches her with dilated eyes, getting in position. She is in the right position, not comments for her to range her position needs to be made.
[Name] takes a small breath, hitting the sword against Lloyd’s. The prince ducks as she swings it again, moving to the left as she follows. Their swords hit against each other, Her majesty, Queen Misako watching from corridors in the palace.
Lloyd manages to cause a fake, allowing an opening as [Name] moves when she does not need to. He hits her ass once with a laugh, [Name] turning with a look of disbelief on her face.
"Montgomery!"
"Apologies, my love," He smiles, cheekily. "I could not resist the opportunity,"
"Oh, believe me. I am aware,"
[Name] holds the sword harsher, taking swipes at the Prince, trying to pin him into a corner. But Lloyd is far too smart for that. He manages to grab her wrist, pulling her back against his chest. [Name] is not strong enough to pull her wrist away from him.
She is quite attracted to his strength and does not mind being in the position in other situations. Even though it is quite scandalous and is frowned upon. Her mother would completely force the marriage ceremony as soon as possible if she ever caught [Name] and Lloyd in those positions.
But [Name] unfortunately does not wish to be in these positions as of right now. Not when she is in a sword fight with her lover.
"What will you-" [Name] swings her head back, Lloyd moving back just in time as he lets go of her. He chuckles, resting the sword on his shoulder. He is impressed by her quick thinking. Very impressed.
His head tilts slightly, dragging his eyes up and down [Name] as she stays in defensive position. They flicker to red before going back to green. The princess breathes heavily, watching her beloved.
Lloyd takes the sword from his shoulder and throws it away. [Name] furrows her eyebrows, her defensive position relaxing slightly. What is…what on earth is he doing?
"Lloyd?" She questions before seeing as he completely charges towards her. The Princess lets out a scream before trying to run away, as maids and servants watch the two royals play with each other. The Queen smiles knowingly, walking away.
Lloyd catches up to her, grabbing her by the waist and throwing her over his shoulder.
"Unhand me, you heathen!" [Name] squeals, failing her arms and legs. Lloyd happily holds her over his shoulder with a big smile on his face as he walks away, leaving the courtyard as everyone watches. She smells so nice. And she is so soft in his hands. He would carry her like this for the rest of his life. He will carry her like this for the rest of his life. "You rake!"
Chapter Summary: Our protagonists are finally meeting each other after spliting off from their friends. Though, their meeting was a bit...
Messy.

Chapter Two: Excuse me, Miss
1:00AM : Zeta-Tau Fraternity House
The party was packed with students everywhere - some of them had moved into the backyard where people were playing different games outside. Toji and his group, however, were crowded over a beer pong table towards the back of the living room.
Most of his group, anyway.
Satoru had wandered off somewhere in the sea of people at some point whilst the rest of them were competing against each other.
Eventually, Toji tapped out after losing five times in a row and no, it wasn’t because he sucked at beer pong. His friends were blatantly cheating to get him to drink more, as in, they didn’t even throw the ball, they just put the ball in the cup.
And quick interruption from the author, you may be thinking, ‘why didn’t he just cheat too? or at least stop them.’
Well, the former doesn’t exactly work when your friends already like drinking and are actively aiming to end the night wasted. Then the latter would likely result in him getting wet. And like anyone else, walking around dressed in a shirt with a splash of alcohol, wasn’t really appealing to him right now.
He also didn’t have the energy to do anything about it either, it was draining enough that he was here.
But let us continue.
Anyway, their little plan worked.
He was slouched against a wall, more relaxed and less on edge. Not exactly enjoying the lively environment but he could tolerate it for now.. He faced the table, tapping his foot to the beat of the song playing.
An elbow dug into his side, making him glance at the white-haired man that had appeared beside him.
“Enjoying yourself?” The man questioned, leaning his head on the wall and adjusting his glasses on his face.
Toru, the other Gojo twin. And also completely different to Satoru, so different that you can almost always tell them apart just from how they act.
He was dressed in a grey tee, designed with the symbol for oxygen and magnesium from the periodic table to spell: O,Mg. Pretty nerdy to say the least. But he paired it with a plain white t-shirt that peaked underneath and wide leg jeans to give it more of a streetwear look.
Letting out a scoff, Toji gestured with his cup towards their friends who were currently arguing over who lost the pong ball for the hundredth time. “Sure, nothing's better than watching them argue half drunk.” He replied. They watched as someone walked towards the table, handing them the small ball.
‘Them’ and ‘Friends’ being Nanami and Sukuna, the only two still competing against each other.
Hmm…
Sukuna, a footballer. Aka a sports major.
He’s a… solid guy...
He's cocky, snarky and about every bad quality you could think of. Well maybe not every. There’s worse people out there. Quite introverted too, before he joined the group, he kept to himself. He was either alone or with Uraume. Though, now that he’s gotten settled with everyone, he makes it his life’s mission to instigate arguments and bicker with Satoru at every chance he can get. They’re closer to rivals that just so happen to be friends.
As for his dynamic with Toji, they get along quite well. Especially since Toji is constantly competing against Satoru’s brother. For example, Sukuna is the type to randomly barge into Toji’s room to rant about football practice and a million and one reasons why he deserves to be captain more than Satoru. Toji and Uraume happen to be his therapist friends, though Toji was only recently promoted to that position.
He hasn’t known Sukuna for long and it was Satoru who introduced them to each other in the first place.
but in that short time Toji learned he was very…guarded.
A prime example of an avoidant personality. At first, any questions about his family set him off on a tangent about how they should ‘mind their fucking business.’ Very hot and cold. His boundaries seemed extreme and more like self sabotage than anything else, Toji would go as far as to say he’d most likely rather die than ask someone for help.
But still, he knows how to be nice in his own way.
And so, Toji guessed that his behaviour towards people might well be a defense mechanism, he’ll attack others before they get the chance to say anything - likely out of fear of judgement, an act of protection if you will. It seems he’s naturally-
“Give me that-” He snapped harshly, banging a fist against the beer pong table - the stranger flinched back before speeding away. Sukuna whipped around to the man opposite him. “This is fucking rigged.”
-Aggressive.
They continued to observe as Sukuna, the sore loser, challenged the winner to another round.
Ah, and Nanami, a business law major. Specifically for accounting and finance.
The polar opposite to someone as…flamboyant as Sukuna. Also more on the quieter side, even after he settled in. They'd talk during college sometimes, ranting about different academic topics.
It was fun until he cut Toji off mid sentence because they were finished with classes for the day. Nanami had a strict ‘no educational talk’ policy outside of when they're in college, you couldn't mention an assignment or anything.
His reasoning was because he spends more time in class than he does at home, and so he prefers the little time he has outside of school to be free of anything academic. Which is fair but still extreme. Whenever he hosts study sessions on the weekend, he gives everyone a strict deadline that they must stick to. You’re either on time or study by yourself. He’s one of the smartest people in the group.
And since he prefers to separate his personal life from college, a lot of his classmates don't know that Nanami is indeed…
An alcoholic.
And more than he likes to let on.
It borders on concerning how often he drinks. He'll be the first to agree whenever Satoru suggests they go to a bar and not to mention how much he loves to bar hop, a night out with Nanami means you're at least going to 3 bars, maybe two if he's feeling nice.
As for Toji’s psychoanalysis of him, he figures it lines up with how overworked he seems to be. Nanami is practically always stressed to the point it's become his resting face. He puts himself under too much pressure in Toji's opinion, to the point that it's counterproductive. And probably why he uses alcohol as a reliever.
Anyway, this book isn’t about them unfortunately. Nor is it a psychology report on his friends.
Toru smiled at them, his braces slightly showing in the light - he turned his attention towards Toji again. “hmm…” he hummed, aiming to switch the topic. “I thought you had an assignment due?”
Toru, the other Gojo twin. And most definitely the type to bring up college during a party where you were supposed to forget about college.
“You would remind me about that just as I was starting to relax.”
His friend lazily shrugged his shoulders, “gotta keep you on your toes, y’know.” Toru mumbled into his cup. He knew just how to get on his nerves to the point that they despised each other once upon a time, but ironically, he was now the one Toji was closest to.
Toru took a sip and scrunched his nose in disgust at the taste, pulling the cup away from him with a cough, “Ugh- H-how do people even drink this?”
“...No clue,” Toji responded in an unbothered tone. His straight face broke into a snarky grin as he took a noisy slurp from his cup - holding back the shiver from the burn in his throat.
༻𓊈𓊉༺
Bunched in the middle of the living room, you and your friends immersed yourselves within the party - screaming the lyrics and dancing together. You had lost yourself to the rhythm of the music and the buzz the alcohol gave you.
Dancehall blasted from the speaker, the music blended into one song in particular that made the crowd burst into a mix of shouting and cheers. You squealed in excitement before moving your waist to the tempo, flicking your curls over your shoulders - Utahime hyped you up, laughing with a wide smile on her flushed face.
The same two people who didn’t want to go in the first place, by the way.
The rest of your friends paused to look at each other before shaking their heads and joining you both, swaying to the beat.
You continued like this for another two hours, occasionally taking bathroom breaks or trips to the kitchen to refill your drinks. Your phone was starting to fill up with videos of you all dancing and blurry pictures you’d taken in the midst of it, you were also bordering into being heavily drunk but you didn’t mind much.
Normally, you wouldn’t let yourself drink this much nor did you usually enjoy parties this much either but something about celebrating after all that stress made the moment even better.
Well- That and this was the first time you had allowed your friends to drag you somewhere.
But, the frat put extra effort into this party since it was for the end of exams and you found yourself actually being glad that you had come after all.
Your social battery was starting to plummet after two hours of non-stop partying, and you desperately needed some time away from the crowd to recharge. It seemed some of your friends had the same idea too. And so, after repeatedly telling them that you’d join them soon, everyone split off; Shoko and Utahime remained in the crowd whilst Uraume, Maki and Gabi split off to play one of the games set up in the backyard.
You, however, were on your way to the kitchen to refill your cup with water to have a break from the strong flavour of alcohol.
Stumbling through the group of people at the entrance, you stepped into the fluorescent lighting, slightly flinching at the brightness. Taking a minute to steady yourself, you looked around and noticed your vision was slow and blurred as if it had to catch up to your movements. It was making you incredibly dizzy.
From what you could see, the kitchen was pretty spacious with an island in the middle of it, beer cans and multiple bottles of alcohol were spread out messily over the surface. You stepped past it to go towards the fridge.
That was the goal, anyway.
Instead-
You bumped into someone’s chest abruptly, causing you to nearly lose your footing due to the thin heel of your boots. A large hand shot out to grab your arm, pulling you towards them just before you could fall.
With your heart pounding, your head snapped upwards to the person holding onto you - you gazed at the widened eyes that looked back at you before they flicked down. Time seemed to be moving in slow motion as you watched them move to place something on the counter before crouching to pat your dress down with a napkin.
Your mouth hung open slightly as you stared at the man hunched in front of you.
His face was covered by a grey hood with a pair of glasses resting on top. With his sleeves rolled up to his forearms, you gawked at the toned muscles disappearing under the rest of the hoodie that stretched over his figure.
He glanced up to you with a nervous look that shocked you out of your blatant staring.
It was then that you actually registered him patting your dress, you looked down to catch a glimpse of the wet patch on your clothes. Your cup had dropped onto the floor, leaving a tiny puddle around it whilst his cup was on the counter, droplets leaking down the sides.
You gasped, “oh fuck-” Snatching up multiple napkins with your free hand, you tried to dry it along with him.
The man frantically dabbed at your dress, though it wasn’t doing much.
“It’ll probably need to air dry from here,” you said.
Your voice knocked him out of his panic and as if realising that that was probably a sign for him to stop touching you, he stiffened before jumping away from you and falling back on his ass while he was at it. “Sorry-”
The jump back was a bit much but he must’ve been as equally drunk as you.
A beat passed before you broke the awkwardness with your chuckling, waving him off. You held out your hand to pull him up. He visibly relaxed and slipped his hand into yours to stand up. His hands were big and surprisingly soft too.
Tick.
He towered a head or two over you, not that you were short by any means. Dressed in a blue shirt underneath his hoodie, the top buttons were unfastened, making the top of his chest peek through and a loose black tie looped over the collar. Your eyes swept up and down, stopping at the waistband of his boxers that peeked over a pair of baggy black jeans hanging on his hips.
Half tick.
He cleared his throat with a nervous smile as he gazed at you, “sorry about that…” His voice was raspy with a breathlessness to it.
Tick.
He rubbed his neck awkwardly before holding out an empty cup towards you.
You shook your head, “it’s fine. Don’t worry about it.” It wasn’t. But you was having fun so you were willing to breeze past it. You grabbed the cup and filled it up from the water dispenser before leaning against the island opposite him, continuing your stare as you sipped from your cup.
He was looking away from you, spacing out whilst his hand drummed against the counter. You could see the dark green tinge of his eyes within the light, framed by his hair hanging just past his eyebrows. Your attention flickered over his defined features, pausing on the thin scar cutting through his plush lips.
Another tick.
You were mentally ticking off your list of ‘what you're into.’ Your heart raced the more you looked from the sheer attraction you felt towards him. He was your type through and through.
Well- The outfit could use some work, hence the half tick but…
Suddenly, you didn’t mind your dress being a little wet.
Mustering all the liquid courage you had, you decided to break the silence, “I don’t think I’ve seen you around before.” You started, placing your cup down to hold out your hand, “I’m Y/N,”
He looked at your hand before shaking it, a small smile on his flushed face, “Toji.” He replied, holding your hand for a second longer then letting go. “We're in the same classes sometimes, for psychology.”
“Oh? we are…?” You questioned slowly, closing your eyes to try to remember if you’ve ever seen him before. You shrugged, opening your eyes again, “I feel like I would remember seeing you, do you usually sit at the back or something?”
Toji nodded, “typically, yeah.” He crossed his arms loosely over his chest, resting his head against the cabinet, “Psychology is my major, though” He added.
“Right…” You hummed in acknowledgement, staring off to the side with a nail on your chin. For some reason there was something familiar about his name…You quickly snapped your fingers in an act of realisation, “OH-” you said loudly, making him flinch a little. “I lied- I do know you. You’re friends with the twins right?”
Toji chuckled at how animated you were, his grin making your heart skip a beat, “Unfortunately so.” He tilted his head whilst looking at you, “I thought you hadn’t seen me around before?”
“Well, for one, I’m pretty drunk,” You put up one finger, “For two, you look reaaaally different without your glasses on.” You put up another finger, sluggishly. “Also, some of my friends hang out with them sometimes. So I mainly only know you on a name basis.” You picked up your cup again to take a sip.
Toji nodded and slid his glasses onto his nose, they tilted awkwardly on his face. “Better now?” He asked.
You blinked at the sight of his glasses being crooked before bursting into a fit of giggles. “Ye- yeah, sure. Better,” you slightly leaned over to him and reached up to adjust his glasses. “They were crooked,” you finally replied in the midst of your laughter. “They were crooked.”
He wrinkled his nose in embarrassment, drumming his fingers against his clothed biceps. “This is why I don’t drink…” he muttered under his breath.
“Bless your little heart.” You cooed.
Toji’s cheeks flushed more in his embarrassment, he cleared his throat again, nodding towards your dress, “Sorry, again, about that.”
The spot had partially dried within the short period of time, “it’ll be fine, I'll just throw it in the washing machine when I get back,” you shrugged. You cleared part of the island so you could sit on top of it. You crossed your feet over each other, feeling your dress ride up your thighs.
Toji’s gaze snapped down automatically before moving back to your face, “So, how come you're staying here?” He asked curiously, “I’m assuming you came with your friends right?”
You hummed and nodded. “...Do you want my honest answer?” You held out one hand to the side of you, “Or…the lie that’s not really a lie, it’s just not the entire truth,” You said quickly, holding out your other hand.
He hummed, holding his chin as he pretended to think about it, “how about both?” he grinned.
You had to stop yourself from gawking at him every time he smiled. It was embarrassing. With a sigh, you took another sip to relax yourself. Placing the cup down and leaning back on one of your hands, you said, “okay well…the lie that isn’t really a lie is that I needed a break from the crowd.”
“Fair. And the honest answer?”
“Well…I may or may not…wanttogettoknowyou-” You sped through the last part whilst looking down at your acrylic nails
Fun fact, you had very little romantic experience and it had been a while since you last spoke to someone like this. Not because you didn’t get approached, it was more something you weren’t particularly interested in. Sure you had crushes but that was for the fun of it, otherwise you didn’t really care.
But…
The corner of his lips curled up as he listened to you, his eyes were trained on your face, flickering over your features as you spoke.
…You could always start now.
“Emphasis on the may or may not,” you added, nervously glancing back at him with butterflies fluttering in your stomach. Thankfully, your nervousness can’t show up on your skin, otherwise you’d be very flushed.
He opened his mouth to reply before he was cut off by you holding up a hand.
“Wait-” You said, the moment replaying in your head the minute it left your mouth. Cringing, you covered your face and looked up at the ceiling, “suddenly, I feel extremely embarrassed.”
Toji instantly closed his mouth again and looked off to the side, his eyes creased as he poked his tongue against his cheek to stop himself from smiling. “Pfft-”
You groaned loudly, peeking through the spaces of your fingers, “I know we literally just met, I just thought-” You cut yourself off, trying to avoid making the embarrassment worse, “Was that weird?” asked, pulling your hands away from your face.
Toji had his head down, his shoulders shaking silently. He found your honesty adorable. “No, no-” He had to clear his throat a couple of times to stop himself from laughing, his attention was back on you. “There’s nothing wrong with wanting to talk. And before you interrupted me,” He gave you a pointed look, playfully, “I was going to say that I’m here for the same reasons as you were.”
“Oh-”
“And yes, that includes the ‘lie that isn't really a lie.’” He repeated back to you, leaning towards you to get a better look at your expression.
Your brows raised and your hand hovered in front of your mouth, “oh.” You said.
He laughed to himself at your expression. Your reactions were also very cute. “Could’ve worked on the delivery though,” he joked.
Just as you were about to reply, you both were interrupted by noisy chattering as people entered into the kitchen. Toji glanced over you and let out a sigh, he nodded for you to look behind you as he leaned back on the counter.
You looked over your shoulder to see Satoru and Suguru - dressed in matching cropped shirts that read: Party Down Here, with an arrow pointed downwards. You kinda wanted one. They paused, looking behind them and pointing towards you both with a creepy look on their faces. Shoko stepped to the side of them, giving you a wave - they moved towards the island to refill their cups.
“Y/N, right?” Satoru asked, glancing between you and Toji with a dazed smirk, “nice to meet you, I’m Satoru.” He introduced himself with a small bow of his head before grabbing a bottle of alcohol.
Suguru elbowed him, making Gojo wince and angle his body away. “I'm pretty sure she knows that already.” He said, the corners of his mouth pulled upwards.
“Right. Nice to meet you though,” you said. This wasn’t the first time you had spoken to each other, hence why he already knew your name, but for whatever reason he thought you didn’t know him.
Turning to you, the black-haired man held his hand out politely, “I'm Suguru. Beautiful outfit, by the way.”
You shook hands before moving your cup out of their way, “thank you!” You replied happily, nodding towards Gojo to catch his attention, “nice party too.”
Satoru paused dramatically, lifting his head slowly.
“Ugh-” his lips wobbled as they were pulled downwards into a frown. He suddenly reached out and pulled you into a hug, squashing you against him, “you're the first person that has actually complimented me today.” Besides the comments about his looks. And how good he is at football. And his humor. And how smart he is.
Okay, so maybe a lie.
He squeezed you again before letting you go, narrowing his eyes at the three others around you. “It would've been nice to hear that from one of you.” Satoru remarked.
Your eyes widened then relaxed again as a delayed response. He had absolutely no sense of personal space. Suguru screwed his face up at Satoru before quickly changing his expression as he looked at you, giving you an apologetic smile and mouthing that Gojo was very drunk. You shook your head, quietly laughing as Satoru ranted about how much effort he put into setting it up.
“And you-” He said pointing to Toji who was now scrolling on his phone aimlessly, “How- How dare you force me to manipulate you into coming?” Gojo slurred, clutching his chest in pain.
Toji let out a heavy sigh, His smile had fully dropped into a look of irritation. “You don't even know what you're talking about.”
Shoko tapped your arm, making you turn the other way whilst the others started their own conversation. You turned yourself to face her on the island. She raised her eyebrows at you suggestively, “So…”
“So…?”
“Didn’t you say you wanted time to yourself to recharge?” She asked.
“I was,” you replied quickly, messing with the end of your dress. A random spot on the wall suddenly seemed very interesting, right now.
“Uh huh…”
༻𓊈𓊉༺
Snickering, Satoru dragged Toji away from the two girls - further into the corner of the room for some kind of privacy. His smile was so wide, it was bordering on unnatural. He was going to have so much fun with this.
Toji stared at him blankly, “what now?” He sighed, again, shrugging off the arm wrapped over his shoulder.
“Well…He's probably smiling because this is the first time he's seen you interact with a woman that isn't Shoko.” Suguru answered. He was also pretty excited to see if this goes anywhere. “And your ex.” He added, shrugging lightly.
“I talk to women all the time.”
“Pshh-” Satoru waved him off with his free hand, “name one.” He demanded, waiting with his arms loosely crossed over his chest.
“Akari.”
“Who?”
This time Suguru was the one who sighed. Satoru had selective memory when it came to people and it didn’t help that he wasn’t sober. “She has a blonde bob with black roots? Sits near the back of psych class.” He said, gesturing with his hand. But alas, received a blank look in reply. “She yelled at you for distracting Toji that one time, when you snuck in his class remember?”
“Uhm,” Satoru closed his eyes and rubbed his temples as if that would make him remember. “Blonde hair…blonde hair…Oh-” And apparently it did. He perked up again, “she doesn’t count. You asked her a question about class, once. And then proceeded to go on a rant about every psychology related thing ever.” Satoru finally shot back, “That wasn’t a conversation.” A snort bursted from the man next to them.
With an irritated glance at Suguru, he started, “no, it was because-”
“Next.” Satoru loudly interrupted, speaking over him and gesturing with his hand for Toji to move on .
Toji kissed his teeth, “then Meimei.”
Sighing, Satoru gave him a sympathetic look and a sad smile, “you know she's only doing psych to justify her weird obsession with her brother. That isn’t really a good look for you.” He patted his shoulder, “plus project partners don’t count, either. Nice try though.” He leaned closer to Toji, resting his arm over him and Suguru and pulling them into a small huddle. “Anyway…you should get to know her,” Gojo whispered.
“She’s beautiful and things looked good before we interrupted,” Suguru added.
Looking away, Toji sighed, for the third time now.
Satoru stared at him with a glint in his eye. “Fine, if you're not gonna admit it-” He started before spinning around towards you and Shoko, a wide grin on his face.
“Hey Y/N-”
You looked towards them, seeing Toji groan and pinch the bridge of his nose just under his glasses. Your gaze drifted from him to the other two.
With a forced smile, Suguru slapped a hand over Gojo's mouth, waving his hand at you, “it’s nothing, ignore him please.” Satoru crossed his arms and mumbled against the hand on his mouth.
You tilted your head, a little concerned but mostly confused. Toji caught your gaze, his frown softened as he shook his head towards you. You kept looking for a second before dragging your eyes away, continuing your conversation with Shoko.
Toji moved his focus back to his two friends who were looking at him with a mix of expressions: Suguru looked at him warmly whilst Satoru had the biggest smirk across his face.
“Don't be shy,” Satoru teased, poking Toji’s cheek with the tip of his finger. “Just get to know her, see where it goes.” He said, less sarcastic and more genuine.
“Start with asking her about her interests?” Suguru suggested, “I know you prefer to listen more than talk but it'll help get you both comfortable.”
Satoru snapped his fingers, “Oh- And move to the living room. I wanna watch.”
Toji raised his eyebrow silently.
“He means so he can watch OVER you, we won’t be staring or anything.” Suguru clarified with a sigh, “We moved the tables and couches to the back so maybe you could chill there?”
“...Sure.”
The two of them, Suguru and Satoru, nodded to each other as if telepathically speaking, enacting their plan - Satoru sped towards Shoko, looping his arm in between hers and dragging her away from you. You were still mid conversation, to add.
“Wh-” Shoko started, snapping her head up.
Following them, Suguru swiped up her drink soon after, turning on his heel to give you a little wave and a nod to Toji before they left.
Confused, you watched the scene play out, leaving both you and Toji in an awkward silence.
He sighed again, rubbing his temples as he came up to you. “Sorry about them.”
You slid off the counter, pulling your dress down as you landed on your feet, “Is…everything okay or…?” You questioned, glancing to where the three of them had left.
Toji cleared his throat and pushed his glasses up his nose in embarrassment, his skin gaining a faint pink shade. “Yeah- yeah it’s fine, they just use every opportunity possible to embarrass me.” He answered.
“I was thinking…” He looked to the side, avoiding your eyes as he said,
“We could move to somewhere more comfortable, get to know each other more?”
