— Completed.
— Glitter Gem: Character is based on little girl, who likes princesses and fairy tales. So, I went for a little girl’s room and a “mural” look, featuring a castle, rolling hills, a big rainbow & butterflies. The Pet Image is a poster taped up and the Minion is a banner hang up next to it. I used a ton of patterns on this one and very distinct softlight shade to give a “cartoon” feel. For once I held off on the use of gradients since it didn’t really fit the overall look. Overall, I’m really happy with the result. Features: CSS styled “Tabbed” text area & treasure chest, pull-down Pet Spotlight and scroll bar covers.
— Sprockette: Character is based on a young boy, who likes gaming. I decided to go full on Nintendo nerd on this one. Created a Switch, game cards, for the background a couple old school controllers. This one was a ton of fun to create. It was really all about the details, since it’s relatively simple it needed to be just right. Features: CSS styled “Tabbed” text area & treasure chest, pull-down Pet Spotlight and scroll bar covers.
— Demitasse: User asked for a coffee shop/chalk board sign theme and I knew exactly what I was going to do. I had to make sure the layout didn’t get too fussy but still had that great chalkboard sign art feel. Adding the “art” & menu to the left and right really helped push the theme while not getting too busy. This one has several patterns, plus I used various gradients, opacity and the Soft-light Blend mode to bring it all together. Really, really happy with the way this came out in the end. :) Features: CSS styled “Tabbed” text area & treasure chest, pull-down Pet Spotlight & Pet Image and scroll bar covers.
