“In the winter of 1992, I landed in Seattle at 22. I listened to The Flaming Lips and was a fan of the Seattle band Hammerbox. My boyfriend played in a band with his brother, who also worked for a college radio station. I didn’t know it, but I had just fallen into the music scene”.
