Today in Literary Locations: Bookshops edition - Daunt Books, London.

Daunt has branched out into a few locations in London and around the UK, but this is their main building in Marylebone - constructed in 1912 for an antiquarian book seller, it is claimed to be the oldest custom-built bookshop in the world. Daunt’s specialty is travel writing, and they organise books in a pretty unique way - not by genre but by country, mixing fiction, memoirs and travel guides to create an interesting browsing experience. In addition to bookselling, Daunt hosts an annual book festival and has recently launched a publishing venture.

my partner lives in the ph and she is scared and is being ignored right now by their followers despite how fatal this situation is.

if the bill passes, this gives the ph government the right to arrest ANYBODY under the notion of being a "terrorist." they will monitor everybody's internet. this is a direct violation of freedom of speech and it's unfolding right before our eyes.
